This was my third stay at the Steamboat Springs KOA. The facilities are always clean and functional. The staff are efficient and extremely curious. I have nothing but, the highest regard for this camp ground. Of all the KOA’s that I have stayed at this place is my favorite!

Stayed in a cabin. The skillets were not clean, the sink faucet leaked very time it was pulled out to use, the TV’s would not stay connected to the cable/internet and the stations were not the same on both. The platform for the queen bed creaked every time there was movement in the bed. Floors only appeared to be vacuumed not mopped as white socks would be completely dirty after a few steps.

The reception staff was a bit rude while checking in and also when checking out. The staff were very senior in age and out of respect me and my family ignored the comments for the first time but it happened twice or thrice which made me realise it was intentionally targeted to us and our kids. They did treat us as if we knew nothing. The remarks sounded a bit off, felt bit off and not welcoming.

This was the first time I rented a cabin and totally enjoyed the experience. It was clean, and right up the river. The moon shown directly on the front porch at night. And the staff were exceedingly gracious.

Bees in the cabin and having to move cabins at night then next day water shut off and dirty water that had to be run until (hopefully) clean. Not the relaxing stay we had hoped for. On the positive side they were very responsive to the problems and provided great help to moving all our stuff. Still a nice place to stay!

Very nice and organized camp ground. We stayed in a cabin - was a fun experience.. maybe just a little overpriced . The RV sites were big with a good size patio, grills and tables and chairs . Staff was very nice as well

I stay in quite a few KOA’s mostly camping cabins - the majority of them have a refrigerator and microwave- please consider this upgrade - I stayed in Craig The night before it had Microwave, Refrigerator and freezer $60 per night - I would have given your place 5 stars had it had refrigerated and microwave - it’s an awesome location

Wonderful campground, Excellent staff!!!!!! Love the activities throughout. Would highly recommend. We come as a group year after year. Love this campground and the upgrades! Only suggestion is that my billing gets screwed up when I want to pay for my group's accommodations. I arrive early to prepay everyone on day of arrival. Please let me know how we can make this happen more smoothly

Wonderful!!! We met a group there so we especially loved the out door covered area to cook and gather and wash dishes. Nice spot to plug in griddles and sinks to clean up. Very accommodating!

Great location. We liked having the bus available to go into town. Our kids enjoyed the carts, playground, pool, mini golf and crafts. The cabin had wonderful a/c for the hot days but could have been cleaner. There was trash under the bunk mattresses and a lot of dust. Over all a great place that we will come back too.

We booked 4 cabins and 2 campsites. Three of the cabins and 1 of the campsites for 4 nights and the other 2 for 3 nights. The cabins were not cleaned well before our arrival. There were dirty dishes in the cabinets of one cabin, a pop can and dental floss left from the previous guest in another, and pet fur on one of the couches. Supplies were not filled. The staff was grumpy.

Location was on point and campground was really nice. The room appeared clean until we noticed how dirty our feet were from the floor. By the end of the weekend we had cleaned the floor ourselves with our socks and feet. That was a huge turn off. The team that helped with tie dye and bingo were great!! Just need to clean the cabins a bit better.

We stayed in a three bedroom cabin with 5 adults and two children. The cabin was cosy and very well air conditioned! The kids loved the pool, playground and mini golf. Will definitely stay here again.

Love the location! The employees were wonderful. But yuck, the cabin was so dirty. Silverware and pots were dirty. The toilet had urine around the base and the floor was so sticky. Our feet were black from the cabin floor. The sheets for the bunk beds looked like they were reused and not cleaned. No extra trash bags. 6 pods of coffee for free, then charged for extra? Just provide a regular pot!

We loved all the activities and amenities. Down side our 400dollar a night cabin that said it came with a full kitchen was not. NO OVEN AND ONLY 2 BURNERS. Feeding a family of 6 on 2 burners was a mess.

We enjoyed our stay, and booked again for next year. The staff is incredibly friendly, and that made all the difference for us. A suggestion that would have helped us is a separate container for recycles and a clearly marked recycle dumpster. Also, a bear-proof dumpster (specifically recycle) might save the staff clean up time every morning. We observed a bear two times; glad dogs were leashed.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

the recycle dumpster is clearly marked, the issue is people throw regular trash in the recycle, which is not bear proof, as the company has no bear proof recycle dumpsters, if folks would not put regular trash in the recycle we would not have the mess

All was great until Bellowing Bonnie yelled at us to immediately leave the property by 11am!! No nice ask first—just yelling—what a shame! Won’t be coming back or recommending

just to be clear this was on the 4th of July, you requested to stay on park to swim after checkout,this is not our policy after checkout the guests are expected to leave the property, it also looks like the customer also came in the office and cursed at the employees

We enjoyed our cabin stay. All the staff were great. The ladies at the front desk answered our various questions with a smile, our kids had a great time doing bubbles with Willow and Skyler, and Josh and the maintenance team were great to interact with. Our only complaint was the poor drainage in the women’s restroom/showers. We look forward to planning another trip to Steamboat Springs

We stayed in a deluxe cabin. It had two beds upstairs and a convertible couch downstairs. Slept 4 of us just fine. Ended up being a great fit for us. Super easy access and great access to Steamboat.

This was our third stay. The cottages are lovely and the upstairs are so cozy for sleeping us and our two kids. One issue that we had this time in #7 was with the giant futon blocking the access to the kitchenette. Our last time in another cottage was perfect with sufficient space to move around.

Really enjoyed the location and grounds. The cabin wasn’t what we expected. The full bed mattresses were so thin we could feel the wood base and decided to double them and sleep together. That wasn’t very comfortable either. In addition the toilet is so small that an adult hardly fits and our knees touched the walls. The parking was very tight. The outdoor seating area and grill was nice.

The Steamboat Springs KOA was amazing! Friendly staff, and very close to just about everything. The campsite was very clean and well maintained. Hands down one of the nicest campgrounds we have visited.

We always have a great time. The KOA is always clean, friendly people, and there are many things to do. The cabin was nice and fit us nicely, but we would have liked a screen door since there wasn't any air conditioning. We'll be back next year!

Camp host Josh was fun and has made the park very nice! We stay almost every year and saw a difference this year! This park is so beautiful we come back over and over, thanks for the amazing memories!
