Two night stay in pull-through with small travel trailer. Campground is clean, people very nice & helpful, stream is beautiful. Larger rigs will probably want to reserve in back section (opposite side of river from Store/office) as sites are longer in that section of RV park versus side nearest entrance.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall the older RV sites are fine, some additional landscaping would greatly improve the location overall. Planting bushes or trees between the RV sites and between the campground and the highway would go a long way. Overall, we will be back but likely more intentional about picking an RV site on the newer side of this location.

Everything was pretty good although the men’s bathroom was not cleaned on Wednesday or Thursday. There were pieces of toilet paper all over the floor and the toilets weren’t cleaned for a couple of days. No toilet paper in one of the stalls on Friday morning. Don’t know if someone was off for two days or what but would think there would be someone around to cover days off or sick call offs.

Paid way too much - disgusting bathrooms! On our side of the campground one bathroom didn’t lock properly and had poop on the walls. The other one had dirty underwear curled up in the corner. I went to the one with the code, one stall had pee all over the seat, the next stall had pee and toilet paper all over the seat, one had poop that wouldn’t flush and the showers flooded all over the floor

The staff was always helpful and friendly. The organized s'more's night was a lot of fun. We were able to chat with staff, and other campers. Our son, who is special needs, and a candle junkie, really appreciated the candle making. The only drawback, not the fault of the staff, is the spaces are a little narrow. Our neighbors didn't understand "Quiet Time".

The grounds are clean, the staff is super friendly, loved walking by the river, and it's 5 minutes from downtown steamboat. My only beef is our site was SO close to someone else, and it was weird to be backed up to a fence where someone lives on the other side. So if you're going to stay here, pay the extra $ to not get a site by the fence. Otherwise, it's a great KOA!

We have stayed at over a dozen KOA‘s both in the US and Canada. Steamboat Springs is definitely one of if not the best. Steamboat KOA is one of the best campgrounds we’ve ever stayed at.

Entry road had big potholes, bathrooms were not very clean and needed repairs and updates, water and electric hookups worked but connections were not in good shape, quiet hours don’t seem to mean much and that shuttle bus runs every half hour until midnight then the loud drunks get off and loudly stagger through the park, way too expensive these days especially for those who don’t want the ext

Bathrooms are very dirty old… hair balls gathered by drains n pools of h20. Pool nice convenient bus to town . Staff extremely helpful in finding sites to stay or move to. Or to fix non working cable etc

Our first few days were in the old dude of the park, cramped spaces and noisy. Our last 4 days were accross the bridge and we’re much better. Advice: make sure you book a site accross the bridge.

The campsite pads are too small and the utilitiies hookups are on the wrong side for our backin site We had our neighbors septic line running over to within about five feet of our Rv’s back door. Very unpleasant sight. We had two different sites and both sites had utility hookups that badly placed for privacy. The staff are super nice and the facilities are good.

Staff here is absolutely awesome!!! Very friendly, helpful- excellent folks!! Newer part of park is very nice/clean! The only issue we had were some campers did not have their dogs on leash - would be nice if they were called out for it. It's not OKAY when their dog runs over to our campsite or up to us as we go on a walk around the park with our dog. But again, love the staff!! you guys rock

I wasn't prepared for that many kids riding around on little motorized toys they had brought or the koa carts. there were families across from me that didn't adhere to the am quiet hours which made it difficult to sleep with the windows open. It wasn't the KOA's fault but parents who had no respect for others. site was level, long enough for my trailer and tow vehicle and I appreciated the grill

This is one of the nicest KOA parks we have been to, by far! Free Putt putt golf, pool, & a ton of other free things for kids. Free craft activities and outdoor movies. Only 1/4 mile bike ride to the 7 mile long, Yampa River Core trail for amazing bike riding.

This was a very clean camp with a wonderful staff. We actually spent 4 days here and had a wonderful experience. The running river that goes through the camp is a real plus. The scenery is gorgeous and it was fun watching the fly fishers during the day. The camp is very clean and the pride of ownership is very apparent. Lots of activities for the kids and a peaceful atmosphere for the adults.

Such a beautiful setting, we have stayed in Steamboat for over 25 years at the best Condos. We bought our class A RV this year and stayed here and we loved it! Right on the Tampa and close to everything. Love Steamboat.
