We have stayed here before and depending on your site it is a very different experience. They are trying to maximize their number of spots at a sacrifice of quality. The new sites in the 120s are absolutely horrible. No shade, right next to the highway and then for some reason they put bright lights on top of all of the power stations so no one can sleep. The other sites don't have the lights.

You messed up my phone reservation then did nothing to fix it. Do not let inept people answer your phones and make reservations. Ridiculous.

Great KOA and very friendly staff. Having the city run shuttle bus was a very EZ get to town and back option. Thank you Steamboat Springs! We will be back.

We were put in a site that has no shade ever throughout the day. We could move but was told we'd have to move twice during our 2 week stay. So we decided to stayed in our assigned site. The grounds are well maintained and we do enjoy KOA campgrounds but felt for a 2 week stay we should have been placed in a shaded site to start with or at the least communicated with directly before arriving.

Steamboat Springs KOA furthers the KOA brand with a team of friendly helpful professionals that do whatever they can to assure your satisfactory stay. This is my third time at this park with more visits planned for the future as I travel the state on business.

Great and friendly staff. Grounds were great and very clean. Felt very safe and comfortable letting my 2 young kids ride their bikes and play. Pool and mini golf course were awesome and my kids enjoyed them very much. Highly recommended this KOA.

Our one constant complaints by about KOA’s is the TERRIBLE WiFi. This really is a problem for people who aren’t retired and work remotely or just want to watch TV.

Great stop for July 4th week. So many activities, super friendly staff, park very well maintained. We ended up extending our stay. Stay if you’re in the area!!!

We have stayed here at least 3-4 times (I lose count) and it is always a pleasure. Such a great KOA right on the Yampa River. And going into Steamboat is so easy with the free bus and a stop right at the campsite. I love the store, they even have local wine. We will definitely be back soon!

We stayed 2 times this summer and both times was satisfactory. The second time we got the last spot available #49 (Don’t recommend this slot to anyone. Right next to Highway 40 and no grass. They moved us temporarily to another slot and then we asked them to try and move us for the rest of our stay, which they did when someone cancelled. We were on the “Island” in slot 111. It wad perfe

We had a great time at your KOA. We participated in Bingo and saw some of the movie. One of our campers indulged in the free hot dogs. We were very thankful for the shuttle service into town.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The campground was very clean and well staffed. There were activities for both children and adults that were fun and allowed us to meet other families. Our camping spot was beautiful. It was next to the Yampa River and well shaded. We have already made a reservation for next year.

Unfortunately, the site I was provided was below expectations. I was placed next to the employee area, where a giant truck was converted into a camper. My view of the 10ft. high tires was unobstructed. So that was something. The site backed up to a fence, which bordered the town trailer park. I couldn’t wait to leave.

The employee in question also was very courteous and professional with you, as for the 3' tires, we get all shapes and sizes in our park,as for the site, that is what you booked if it was unacceptable you could have requested a different site

The place was nice and clean and mostly friendly staff. Was very disappointed when we were leaving and the line to the dump station was backed up 4 deep. I asked if we could use an empty full service spot and was told no. We had to wait over an hour for something that could have been an easy fix. Spoiled an enjoyable stay.

My site was loud from traffic. Area around my site was unfinished and full of clumpy dirt and grass seed. Patio area was tight. Paid extra for this site compared to others but it was tighter and less space. Could barely fit my truck

No shade, picnic table was heavily warped and dog poo at site. Bathroom was frequently flooded with water and mud. I would consider a different site at this location as the river and shuttle are nice features.

Great place to stay � Close to downtown, clean restrooms, nice staff, and plenty to do on-site. We stayed in one of the river sites... beautiful! We will be back!

Nice people, very clean and organized campground. The entire time we were there all we saw the staff doing was cleaning! Will come back. I wish the laundry was upgraded to accept apple pay, instead of dealing with quarters. Otherwise, wonderful place. The pool was soooooo good.

Good facilities, easy access to town, nice staff, well-maintained. Only complaints would be how tight the spaces are, highway noise, and birds making a mess on our camper. Not much you can do about those things.

The sites are too close together. The unbearable road noise and barking dogs don't equal a pleasant experience. On the plus side, the staff was very nice.

Overall great, lots of activities for the kids. Close to town. Showers a bit small compared to everyplace else we have staying during our time in Colorado. Unfortunately we were there when construction was going on so with that combined with the highway traffic it was a little loud sometimes. We would stay again but get a site on the back side of the park to get away from the highway.

Very nice park (particularly if you have kids - we didn’t) on a nice little river. We kept. Big rigs should get the deluxe patio sites as the others are a little tight. Nice store and staff is great! Big plus is the free bus to town that picks you up right in the park!

We have come back to this KOA many times. The staff is great especially Ruth and Brent this year. Murphy has been well “ treated “ by all. Looking forward to the bike trail to be completed this year. The campground is spotless and has many areas to walk the dog. The front part has companion spots which are relatively close together. The Island spots are all deluxe.

We enjoyed adding this location onto our Steamboat area trip! It’s clean, close to town/ area attractions. Staff was friendly & helpful. Enjoyed their s’mores, too!

Loved the warm showers and riverside access. Friendly staff. Definitely need to build a pedestrian walkway over bridge to island. Not safe with RV traffic.

Camp host Josh was fun and has made the park very nice! We stay almost every year and saw a difference this year! This park is so beautiful we come back over and over, thanks for the amazing memories!
