This is the only KOA we ever have stayed at that charged for having a dog and not even having a dog park. We will never stay there again. If you don’t have a dog to worry about it is a nice campground.

We liked our plug-in spot next to the river. The free bus is a big plus. My only complaint is about the bathrooms. For both men & women, the bathroom stalls are quite small & dark. We asked about getting the lights fixed but saw no effort to do so. There was a handicap-suitable shower stall, but not toilet that I saw. More room in at least one stall, a taller toilet & grab bars would be better.

Wonderful park. Easy to get in and out. Outstanding staff, very friendly, considerate, and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend this facility, and would stay there again.

Campground is well maintained and staff is very friendly and helpful. The campground itself is located next to the Yampa river and it actually runs through part of it.

Staff are very friendly and the location is great, right on the edge of Steamboat Springs. The bath house could use some updating. WiFi is very weak.

A little disapointed in the cost for the stay. A little pricey for just electric hook up and shared electrical pedistal that wasn't able to be accessed from the adjacent guest due to the parking area. "Heated Pool" closed and not able to be used, staff was not available for early office, (prior to 9 am) and were not there for after 5. I get it staff is limited, but only 9 to 5? Overall, not satisf

We had the best time and were so grateful we were able to be moved to a spot by the river! It was our FIRST time ever "van camping" and it was a huge success! We'll be back for sure! :)

We had perfect weather. Beautiful campgrounds. The full hookup sites are very close together. We are not smokers, so we had to keep our windows closed because the neighbor had their smoking table set up under our window. Also, once our slide out was out, we were butt up next to our neighbor. On the opposite side, again when the neighbor arrived the fire pit was close to their truck.

Stayed twice recently and each time our spot had dog feces in the grass from the people before us. Unacceptable, especially with the multiple groundskeepers riding around in golf carts.

Great location just outside of town, easy to get to town by driving or taking the free shuttle that picks-up/drip-off every 20-mins all day long, and takes you downtown. Camp grounds are well maintained and has a homey feel, while newer expansion over the Yampa boasts large, paved (level) sites and wide drives with clean bathrooms and cabins. Staff were friendly and helpful, store is well stocked

We stayed here before and it seemed a little run down now. Still nice but there were large grease marks on the patio and the grass areas are all just weeds and dirt/mud now. It would have been helpful to be texted when restroom codes changed.

Everything was great. Loved having a shuttle into town since we are not towing. The only snag that I find, is that I had to pay $5.00 a day for pet fee when I cleaned up after my pup. I can see it if we were in a cabin, but we weren't. That is like me paying you for poop that I cleaned up!

Staff is great, helped me air up my tires too. Love that it’s on the free bus to downtown. Only wish is that they’d offer overnight parking for those of us that don’t need electric or water, or that we’d fit in the tent sites (my van is 22’). I’d stay in KOAs more often if it was only $30/night.

Our stay was just fine. The restroom was very clean and nice. The only thing I can say is I think the wi-fi could use more boosting. We lost the signal a few times. Thanks for the stay.

Available Shuttle to town was awesome. Every 20 minutes if needed. Hosts are friendly and accommodating. Recommendations for Mexican restaurants were spot in. Thanks for a great stay. We enjoyed exploring the State Oarks, hot springs and Fisheye falls.

The staff is happy and fun, very helpful! Restrooms had nice showers a toilet areas. My only pet peeve is no paper towels, only hand dryers. I like to clean off my area after using it, wipe water, makeup, hair away for the next person. So, I use toilet paper, a large amount if necessary! It's not only Steamboat Springs, but other KOA's. Why? We were here a week, had a marvelous time. Thank Yo

The staff is so friendly and helpful! The campground is very convenient and we loved the free bus service into town. I have two suggestions—one big, one small. First the small one. The Kamp K-9 gates need work. My dog had no problem getting under one gate and easily walking through the outer gate when it was closed. My 2nd suggestion would be to connect the bike trail to the campground.

Super helpful/friendly office staff. Good location for downtown visits. Clean bathrooms. Well stocked store. New section across river super nice. We were in. Space 55. Spaces too narrow. Picnic tables need replacing. Grass/ turf needed. Bathrooms need “ updating” . Laundry room ok but real small . Cable tv appreciated! Older section needs updating.

Level spot and convenient to town. I didn’t use the bus but that is a nice amenity. Bathrooms were fairly clean and the store had some food items we needed. Lots of poop bag stations were convenient. A bit of road noise at our site and the price was quite expensive, with an additional $5 plus tax fee for a dog.

Great for families! beautiful campground, well run/very clean grounds, ladies at the front desk are super friendly and helpful, golf cart man is a little grumpy but I guess he keeps people in line. We come every year for a high school mountain bike race and had a lot of our group come with this time and they all loved it. Great location along the river.
