Was a nice visit and the staff was great. This KOA is a tale of two campgrounds— one side is new and modern and paved and the other (cheaper) side is a bit older and worn (and very muddy after a rain). We were on the older side and had a nice stay but wished we had reserved the newer side. Also, on the older side the pull through sites face each site’s patio sides so you are very close to neig

Hi there, our recent stay at your KOA was not great. The noise from the construction project at the entrance is very unpleasant to camp next to. When I went into the office to see if I could get a quieter spot, the lady rudely told me that I would have to pay extra. Maybe you guys should inform people on the website before they book. Not cool.

Located very conveniently to Steamboat Springs as there is a free shuttle to take you into town about every 15 minutes. Construction installing a new pipe was ongoing while we were there which was a bit annoying, but shouldn't last much longer. Bathrooms a bit dated but generally clean. Site sizes ok. Staff very helpful. Propane filling onsite.

Person in check was stern and never smiled or made me feel welcome. That is rare in our years with KOA. She ask if we had a pet. Yes, our online registration showed a pet so she said she had to charge us a pet fee $5.00 plus tax,. I have never, nor since then have I found any pet policy since we staying in our own RV. I think we were inapprobatley charged due to person unaware of pet policy.

First time at a KOA. This Steamboat Springs location is just a couple miles from downtown. The sites are quite close together & it's very close to a busy highway so you will hear road noise but it greatly improves in the overnight hours. The grounds are well maintained; staff is friendly & helpful. October colors were beautiful.

Very nice employees, free bus to town stops there every 15 minutes, clean bathrooms with great showers, lovely setting by the river.

Quick overnight stay while traveling, reservations and check in was very accommodating. Great spot on the river! Very peaceful great KOA will return when passing through again

We’ve been rvibg for 15 years and this is one of our favorite campgrounds. The staff were super helpful, and helped us extend our stay 2 days. The location amongst the Yampa River is beautiful, especially with the addition of Fall colors. It is easy access into town by bicycle or bus.

Store closes at 5:00 and not much to do, next to highway, facilities are old, out dated, needs some investment imo. It's also pretty pricey at over $110 per night - ridiculous!

I had a great visit at this KOA in Steamboat Springs. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Josh was especially helpful and friendly. I saw him out and about working and he was quick to help me or answer any questions.

Nice facility. Clean bathrooms and great Wi-Fi signal! The grounds and dog park were well maintained. Enough space from neighbors and the outdoor tables and chairs were a nice thing to use. The only downside for our location was road noise.

Had the most beautiful weekend at a beautiful spot. On the river, aspens turning-lovely. Plan to book every year this time. Called her friends to come join us and they rented the cabin. We both ended up staying extra nights longer than we had planned. Josh and Mike were very friendly and helpful. Keep up the good work.

It was a nice campground and would rate higher but there is a huge construction project going and I believe you should have adjusted your rate reflect the disturbance. The workday for the crew was 12 hours beginning at 7:30 am. The only improvement I suggest is to make the showers larger. Those were the smallest I’ve ever experienced.

Quiet campground since it was the end of September. Clean bathrooms. Convenient transport to town with the free bus stopping every 15 minutes at the campground.

This was our second visit, and we look forward to a third. We chose a site at the river's edge and it was absolutely charming. Large shade trees, hiking along the river, firepits, friendly staff- what more could you ask? Perhaps a lower price; that is about it.

Always love staying there. It's very quiet and peaceful. The campsites are extremely clean. Gas grills are spotless. Very nice patio furniture. It's my favorite KOA.

I picked an end site only to find on arrival that there is a staff site that doesn't show up on the map.

The staff was amazing! Our site was very close to hwy 40 and they were installing water pipes very close by. If we were ever to return I'd be sure to pick my site.

Crowded, loud, no internet and our site was not as described. We specified a river FRONT VIEW. We got a cramped site with total blockage from bushes and trees. No room to put out our awning and space was not available on any side. Kids were runniing wild, throwing balls and sticks at our trailer (New Airstream) unsupervised. We were miserable. We would consider at least refund. Thank you

Maneuvering site 71 with a 43’ fifth wheel was challenging - narrow, too short to park our F350 DRW, and too close to other sites. Standing water was everywhere due to the rain. Terrain was irregular with pot holes. Road noise was constant. And finally, the cost - expensive even for a KOA.

The fact that this KOA franchise considers roof-top tents to be RVs is not universal among KOAs nationally, and therefore is just a total money grab on the part of this particular KOA. I will make sure everyone I know, and every single member of the Petunia bike club that stayed at this KOA, knows this. I had to leave a day early rather than be charged another $150 just to park and use my RTT.

The staff were very helpful and nice as we checked in. The facilities and grounds were not up to the standards of a holiday KOA. Our pull through site was muddy and had 2 to 3 inches of standing water all around the site. The roads entering the park and through our part of the park had potholes that were muddy with big dips. Not close to a holiday KOA standard.

Toilet paper holders in the women’s bathroom are awful to use. It would also be nice to have a stool for children at the bathroom sinks, they are high for young kids. Overall clean campground, good facilities. Next to the highway was loud but convenient to town.

We stayed two nights and brought our four golden doodle doggies. We reserved one of the paw pen sites and it was perfect for them and us. We had a great stay! We will definitely be back.

Enjoyed the stay. Several activities for children to do like putt putt and adults can play chess. Little cars can be rented and a well stocked office with just about anything you need or forgot you needed!

Really enjoyed our stay at this KOA. All of the employees were so friendly and helpful. Wish the water spickets were higher off the ground. Hard to attach filters and pressure gauges. Definitely will be back.

This KOA is well positioned for your Steamboat adventure. A close bike ride to the Steamboat bike path and a bus stop on site make the entire town and mountain accessible. Staff was friendly and attentive and the grounds were well kept. Choose your spot carefully, the highway is busy and loud.

Very enjoyable stay. Unfortunately, other guests didn’t pick up dog poop which is gross. I stepped in a pile in the dark and got it on my shoe before entering my RV. Although park has quiet hours, we could hear music from venues outside of the park on 2 nights. ALSO, the water wasn’t working on the Friday we left. Very inconvenient for emptying and flushing tanks.

Except for the rain during our stay, it was good. Next time, I’ll make sure to reserve a site with full amenities (we only had water and power, so had to monitor our grey and black water tanks more carefully).

Excellent wifi. Friendly staff. Well kept up grounds. Cable tv was available and nice to have in the evenings especially as rain prevented outside activities.

Camp host Josh was fun and has made the park very nice! We stay almost every year and saw a difference this year! This park is so beautiful we come back over and over, thanks for the amazing memories!
