Great campground, lots to do, especially for families. Campground was clean and well maintained. Bathrooms were very clean.

Might as well sleep on a major city road with the amount of lights and road noise. Seriously install some down lights so you can see the stars.Crazy expensive for what it is. They did not even give us the bathroom code they changed on the day we were checking out. Should have had till 11am. It only has one thing that makes me go back and that’s the river access convenience for floating the yampa

Smoke from the campfire next door, under our window, infiltrated our motor home through the night and the next day. It was difficult to breathe and very annoying.

It was a very lovely, well kept campground. I loved how the city bus came right to the KOA and picked us up free of charge.

Just beautiful… they go far and beyond to make your stay enjoyable! Manicured campground with lots of amenities and activities! It was a pleasant surprise to find a clean grill with gas available to use! Laundry mat, shower house, swimming pool, movie night plus so much more is what is waiting for you! If you don’t have a tent, stay in one of their cabins!

Love staying at Steamboat KOA when we're in town. Only thing I have is change the light switch in the men's room. The minute you go into s stall the lights go out.

The camp site I was assigned was part of a construction zone that was torn up and consisted of dirt and weeds. The weeds were especially bad arounder the picnic table because no one moves the table when they mow. The fence behind the camp site was broken down with many spaces of missing wood. The showers were dirty and disgusting as well. I notified the staff, who still charged me $70.

We stayed in spot 34, which backs up to an old rotting fence with a hoarder neighbor in eyes view. Sites were so small that if I put my chair by the fire pit, it would be just a few feet from my neighbors sewer hose. Staff was fine, store was nice and laundry room was clean.

Everything was great, even considering the outrageously high price for a camp site, EXCEPT FOR ONE THING. PLEASE DO NOT SPRAY ROUNDUP!!!!!! RoundUp is the leading cause of certain cancers so spraying it all over the site where children and pets stay is incredible irresponsible!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

roundup is a problem when it is wet,after it dries it is not a problem we put marker dye in the mix to show where we have sprayed otherwise the customers would not know, we have always sprayed for weeds spraying vinegar mix, and other types of week killer that are safe for pets

I paid over $100.00 for one night and the site did not have sewer, that is a ridiculous price. To many parents let their children run wild and scream to no end. In and out of the camper and tow vehicle slamming doors until 10pm, no consideration for camper’s around them.

The staff were ALWAYS friendly and helpful. The grounds are well taken care of, and it was NEVER noisy. It was peaceful.

Our dog tolerated the paw pen but wasn't really excited about it even though it was an off leash area. She likes to interact with us so we mostly kept her leashed in our site. There were plenty of places to walk her & the places to sit by the river are lovely.

We spent the night on our way to Oregon. Steamboat is a great place to visit. It was easy to make a last minute reservation. We would definitely come back!

From the moment of check-in, the folks at the Steamboat KOA were friendly and helpful. The sites and bathhouse were spotlessly clean. I had a wonderful overnight.

The sites were very close together with no room at all. There was maybe 3 feet between the sites with slides open. the site was gravel and small. The water was shut off several times. There were dump trucks coming in and out all the time. The pictures look but the reality was very different.

We were passing through staying just one night…The grounds are not well cared for… sites 1-12 are very rough and in need of maintenance and gravel and definition… permanent or long stay residents are messy and junky… the area behind the office and over the bridge is in far better shape… great location near to Steamboat… but I think that is taken advantage of…

Clean, well organized park. Staff very busy on maintenance during our whole visit. Stayed in pull through spot, adequate room for our 25' trailer and tow vehicle. There was a problem with water (again, very busy crew working on a solution while we were there) but the staff worked with us so we could flush our tanks before departing.

The people are amazing. Staff is very polite. The only thing is the potholes you have to navigate on a daily basis.

Spent 9 nights in a Kimbo camper with my dog. Loved the Paw Pen. Bathroom facilities clean and showers had lots of hot water though stalls a bit small. Staff super friendly and loved I could refill propane tank. Bus stopped often to get to the mountain. A hot tub would be a great addition. A bit expensive for a basic plug in camp site. Will most likely be back next year.

Definitely one the most picturesque KOA campgrounds in the USA. I enjoyed being there during the colder "off-season", with only 20% of sites occupied. While Steamboat Springs doesn't have a grocery store on the west side of town, the free and frequent bus service to town and ski area is especially convenient.

This is the third time I stayed here in the winter over the past three years Staff is always fantastic, the bathrooms are clean and the amenities, including power are very helpful It's also very convenient to get into town and also up to the mountain by the free city bus that picks up and drop off at the property

Clean bathrooms and campground! Nice shop with lots of items for visitors. Convenient bus stop to ski area. Would suggest a bench or shelve in all shower areas outside of the shower to put items on when showering. Womens' handicap shower wire shelve is rusting and should be replaced. We had a great stay at this KOA!

This is our fourth stay at your campground in just over a year. It's such a gem of a spot for spending time in Steamboat. Your staff are always exceptional. The place is spotless and welcoming.
