Good facilities, easy access to town, nice staff, well-maintained. Only complaints would be how tight the spaces are, highway noise, and birds making a mess on our camper. Not much you can do about those things.

The sites are too close together. The unbearable road noise and barking dogs don't equal a pleasant experience. On the plus side, the staff was very nice.

Overall great, lots of activities for the kids. Close to town. Showers a bit small compared to everyplace else we have staying during our time in Colorado. Unfortunately we were there when construction was going on so with that combined with the highway traffic it was a little loud sometimes. We would stay again but get a site on the back side of the park to get away from the highway.

Very nice park (particularly if you have kids - we didn’t) on a nice little river. We kept. Big rigs should get the deluxe patio sites as the others are a little tight. Nice store and staff is great! Big plus is the free bus to town that picks you up right in the park!

We have come back to this KOA many times. The staff is great especially Ruth and Brent this year. Murphy has been well “ treated “ by all. Looking forward to the bike trail to be completed this year. The campground is spotless and has many areas to walk the dog. The front part has companion spots which are relatively close together. The Island spots are all deluxe.

We enjoyed adding this location onto our Steamboat area trip! It’s clean, close to town/ area attractions. Staff was friendly & helpful. Enjoyed their s’mores, too!

Loved the warm showers and riverside access. Friendly staff. Definitely need to build a pedestrian walkway over bridge to island. Not safe with RV traffic.

The facility was wonderful!! Unfortunately had rude campers walking through site to get to friends disturbing neighbors dog who were at time sitting and trying to relax.

We were in town for baseball tournament. We got a site over the bridge in the new section. It eas very nice. Lots of kids around playing, swimming and having a fun time. We always stay at KOA when we visit Steamboat springs. We will be back. Thank you, great staff.

The campgrounds were very well maintained, the staff was always very helpful and our cabin and other sites were very nice and couldn’t have had a better experience. Will definitely recommend it to others and use other KOA campgrounds as much as possible.

Nice stay. Sites were a bit close and the K9 Dog Run area was tiny. I believe they have made the dog run smaller because there were new sites being created in the space that had been marked as the dog run area on the map. Past this, it was very clean and there were a lot of activities and the staff and other campers were very friendly.

Very clean and friendly. It will be nice when bike path is finished. I hope you keep the small spots that are away from the big rigs.

Right on the highway so convenient but very noisy. Tight spots and kind of cramped. Tons of family events and playground options. Handy shuttle to town. Late arrival at 1 AM in the next (shared) spot absolutely ruined it since it took them over an hour to get set up.

Bonnie was GREAT!!! She was able to fix a mistake that I accidentally made because this internet connection was shady while we were in the road. The campground was nice but don’t understand why we could not be next to our friends in 33 when 34 was available and never used. There were some KOA employees that were rude while we were looking for access to river. Different camp spot next time in SB

Overall nice place to stay. Clean, staff was friendly and there was a fair amount of activities to do. However, staff assign you a spot upon arrival and we were placed directly next to the highway and by a major construction zone. The spots are very tight and close together and don’t allow for your vehicle to be parked with your trailer. The location is okay, it’s on the west edge of town.

We had an incredible stay at the KOA Steamboat! It is a spectacular location, right on the river at the edge of town. We loved having the ability to sit in front of the quiet of the river and then take the free shuttle into town to also go to the shops and bars and restaurants. The KOA is clean, well maintained, has loads of great amenities and a very friendly and helpful staff. We loved it!

The crew that manages this KOA, from the ladies at the front desk, the person that directed us to our camping spot to the gardener….just great group of people. I had my doubts about staying in a KOA campground, but these people and the facility definitely made me feel like home!

Our stay with KOA was perfect. When we want a stress free experience, we will pay the extra and stay at a KOA. They have all the amenities and is always very clean!

Construction is disruptive. Heavy equipment was passing inches from our van, back and forth through the adjacent campsite. I asked if we could move since several similar sites were open. The desk woman said no and that she had people coming in. Sure enough, one more van came for the night. That’s what happens with Big Korporate Kampgrounds. No flexibility to make customers happy.

We spent (4) nights at this KOA in June this year. From check-in to check out, everything was great. The staff are friendly and always doing stuff to make their guest's stay better. The maintenance guys are always cleaning, tending to and making sure everything is good. The bathrooms are clean, the grills are clean, the patios are in great shape and everything works as it should. The setting is beautiful alongside the Yampa River! They also have a free shuttle to downtown SBS that runs about every 15 minutes. All of that said, we'll be back.
