We had a good stay. The only part I did not like was that the staff seemed pushy for us to check out both mornings. They called me the first morning making sure we would be gone on time or able to switch cabins. The second morning, they drove by at 10 AM to look in the window to see if we had left yet. check out was at 11. When we did leave at 11, it only took them 8 minutes to clean the cabin.

Wonderful amenities and the people at the front desk were so kind and helpful! This was my first time staying at a KOA, and I didn't think to bring pillows when the website listed bed linens, but the transit bus brings you straight into town! Couldn't recommend more.

I was told I would get a refund if I called at least 2 days prior to checkin.. I called 3 days prior to check in and they told me they were keeping the full amount and issuing no refund becaue their policy is that they need a 7 day notice. Pretty sure they train their customer service reps to lie to customers so they don't have to issue refunds. Terrible experience. I would never recommend a KOA.

Everyone at the property was super nice and helpful! Our cabin and camp ground area were clean and the views were beautiful.

We had a wonderful stay! We arrived after the office closed and they called us to let us know where the welcome packet was. We even had an issue with a gross coffee pot in our cabin and they were so nice about it. The staff is always so friendly! We have stayed before and will absolutely stay again!

The Cabin heater was not working properly so it was very cold in the night. We reported it and workers came but did not fix the problem. The team was not flexible when we wanted to change our reservation.

Booked a delux cabin last minute and was so pleased with the experience. The staff was helpful, the facilities were well kept, the cabin was adorable and the views were amazing. Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed in a cabin and it was very nice and clean. The staff was friendly and the grounds were well kept. It was such a beautiful place to stay and close to downtown Steamboat. We’ll be back next year!

The "bed" on the ground floor was a tiny futon and now really sleep-able for an adult. I managed to bring a mattress down from the loft to sleep at the ground level, since I was staying there the night after completing a 50-mile footrace and was concerned I wouldn't be able to get up/down the stairs safely. The website is in desperate need of better pictures and a clearer description of the cabin.

I like to stay at KOA campgrounds Especially the cabins They are Cosy and private They are well built and come with essentials that make the stay comfortable The staff make you feel welcomed and help with any advice on the area features and places

Ruth at the front desk was so friendly. I was able to talk to her before making the reservations and really it was her great costumer service that helped us make up our mind. Such a nice and clean facility. We will visit again!

Very nice. Love the new Island upgrades and cabins. It appears that work is probably still planned for the cabins.......gutters needed for roof water run off. Employees were very nice and helpful.

Nice campground. Beautiful river! Very nice lady at the front desk (long hair). Nice playground. Bikes for rent. Spots are close to each other but the view of the river is great. Bathrooms need new shower curtains- some have mold on. Other then that great place to stay!

This is an outstanding KOA with friendly and accomodating staff who bend over backwards to help you. We stayed in a deluxe cabin and only wish it had a toaster oven or oven-there was plenty of appliances for coffee but not so much for cooking. The location on the river is serene and peaceful day and night. Place was immaculate and store had everything you could possibly want.

Setting is beautiful with free bus transport to town and activities. Bathroom showers not the best, small and nowhere to sit.

Stayed in a cabin which was clean. Brought a fan because there wasn’t one in the cabin. On the river, fairly close to the main building. Clean bathroom, several amenities, very nice staff. A couple of nights, a neighboring business had extremely loud music playing from about 8-10pm.

Everyone was so nice and helpful there! Very clean and very relaxing. The only problem we had was when I phoned to make the reservation. I stated that we would be staying in our connect van and they said no problem. We got there and told that we could not, the town itself would not allow it. So we were lucky they had a cabin available for our stay, although it cost us around $30 more.

The cabin was perfect for our family vacation and very clean! The kids enjoyed all the activities at the KOA and we were so conveniently located next to the river. We all can’t wait to come back!

Unfortunately, my frustration is determining my review. I was under the impression I had a reservation for a KKabin ,I made that morning. In Steamboat around 8 :00 PM to find out my reservation never went thru. 4th time in a month I made KOA reservations online. No problems. Ruby in office available cabins w loft sleeping or $260./ $300. tiny house. I took $260. very overpriced. Rent RV $15

Microwave oven didn’t heat food and KOA solution was to tell us to try more time. Manager at checkout not very friendly. Maybe should have offered some adjustment to our $300 per night stay?

This park is an excellent place for star gazing. I also like the ability to take the FREE Steamboat Springs shuttle all over town. It appeared the campground was hosting visiting tourist on bicycles. I loved my stay. Thank You for a wonderful vacation

Beautiful campground with lots of amenities. My son had a camping spot and I had a deluxe cabin-both were awesome. The cabin was cleaned and well-maintained, with kitchen supplies, toilet paper and soap. Staff were great, contacting us to give details for late check-in. Store next to office is great!

Great option to stay in town in the winter. We travel in our Sprinter 144 and there are not a lot of options for stealth camping in the winter. On one of our nights the temp dropped dramatically and well below the forecast. Woke up with a nearly dead battery and some diesel that was gelled. The staff supplied me with a trickle charger and a propane heater to point towards the undercarriage. Got the engine running in now time. The guys there helped me out big time.
