Staff does a great job of welcoming you to the property. Love that this property is open year-round! Great wintertime camping for us skiers. Shuttle to ski mountain is a great service!

We loved the tiny house; it was great. We had an issue with the door lock when trying to leave; it was almost impossible to get the door to catch on the lock. We did ask for it to be looked at, and it wasn’t during our stay. Also I think there was a dead mouse in the bathroom vent and the bedroom floor vents were also very dirty… I do understand it’s a campground.

Bathrooms and cabins were clean and on par! Thecsmall cabin did have a heater and bathrooms/showers were withing walking distance. Staff was very helpful and even took us to our site with a golf cart. Everyone at the KOA was respectful and clean! Great option close to the mountain for around $100! Thanks again.

I'm consistently happy with the facilities at Steamboat KOA. This is my third stay here and second time in the Tiny Home cabins. The cabins are great and stayed really warm during this very cold visit. I have family that stay through the winter to ski and they really enjoy all of the amenities that Steamboat KOA offers. The fact that the free bus literally stops here is a game changer.

Not sure if it’s all cabins but the bed mat in ours was completely useless, luckily we had a tent pad with us. Playground could be fenced in considering it is right at the entrance, traveling with 2 toddlers it did not feel very safe. Beautiful location though with the river and other amenities!

My cabin had a lovely location beside the Yampa River, and I enjoyed my coffee on the porch swing watching the sun sparkle on the water. Convenient location close to town and very well maintained facilities.

I have stayed at this KOA twice in the last two years. Both times I have had excellent experiences. This particular campground is orderly, clean and what I feel many other KOS campgrounds neglect, modernization. I have stayed a a number of KOAs in the last year and some appear to have not been updated in 30-40 years. The Steamboat Springs Campground is an exception.

We had no reservations but staff was very helpful in assisting us. Restrooms & showers were kept clean & water pressure was good. The staff went above & beyond to go look for my credit card after hours when I thought I lost it! (I did find it later).

It was nice trip for me. We camped there a couple times a year with my daughter and friends. It doesn’t feel nearly as much of a getaway due to cutting out the trees, paving the entire over bridge area. Camping in a parking lot isn’t camping, is it Kamping? (corporate pressure?) It is obvious that this KOA is under new managment. They wanted to charge us for a promo (BYGO) that they KOA decided not to offer any longer, yet we booked our stay one year ago. They charged part of our group with out considering the previous reservation, and charged a $10.00 "parking fee" for all guests, even guests that had an assigned numbered parking space in front of our cabin.

We stayed in the fairly new cabins. Very clean, had everything we needed for our stay. Staff were always easy to work with and happy to help. The next time we are in Steamboat, we will be back!

Love the new cabins! Staff was super friendly and informative. I love staying at this KOA. The only thing I didn’t like was not being able to bring the thermostat down below 70.

The campgrounds staff was truly extraordinary and hosting this year’s Colorado high school mountain bike racers. My family stayed in cabin L101 and it far surpassed our expectations. Our first time in a KOA camping cabin and it was everything we wanted and more! From the showers to the sink for washing dishes to the family movie nights to the refreshing pool to the comfortable beds to the scenic location right on the river to the friendly staff… we couldn’t ask for more! Such a beautiful place, such a horrible experience! BED BUGS! Don't rent the cabin, they are desperately infested with bed bugs! Absolutely horrible, I thought that I got Chicken pox, I have hundreds bites all over my body and they apparently knew about it! How can they be renting those cabins when they know there are bed bugs! I can send pictures to anyone, NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!

Everything was lovely. My only recommendation is relating to supplies in the cabin. We paid for extra people and there was only 1 little shampoo and 1 little conditioner for a 2 day stay with 5 people. In addition, we came in on motorcycles so it would have been helpful to have plastic bags and tinfoil for left overs. Having 8 Keurigs and stating we could purchase more at the gift shop not ok.

The grounds & atmosphere are well kept, flowers everywhere, manicured lawns, etc. However, the bathrooms did not get that same attention which made me wonder about cleanliness. In addition, the cabin we stayed in was a filthy! It was obvious that no one had vacuumed; the amount of dust between the interior cracks & fan in the loft was thick with black dust. If you stay here, bring your camper!

First of all the staff were the best ever! Helpful,friendly and simply the best! Loved the place and employees. Ashley and Charleen were the best on getting a shirt left behind shipped back to us. KUDOS to them! The only reason I didnt give a five star is the fees that were charged for extra adults and the extra vehicle charges. Not happy with the extra fees!

Stay was very nice but overpriced we thought.we were in a basic camper cabin and the price is high. The cabin also had some electrical problems and the heater did not work so it was quite cold in the morning. That said we would probably come again, but still the price is too high for what you get.

The staff were very nice and the campgrounds were well maintained. Clean bathrooms and cabin. Of all the KIAs we’ve stayed, this one had the worst mattress on a bed in the kampung cabin. The least amenities as well. It was very basic. No fridge, no tv, just basic. We should have brought our own air mattress. We woke up stiff.
