This is the first KOA that I have stayed at that charged for traveling with a dog and it was already a pricey campground. I don't think KOA should put the responsibility on the camper to call ahead and find out if there is a charge for a dog. Even if KOA doesn't collect the fee on their website, the cost should be listed. Most travel rental sites have figured out how to do that, you should too.

Excellent as always! The staff is SO kind!! Just a random comment about the tall weeds in front of river by the cabins blocked the river view quite a bit. If it’s to regrow vegetation/conservation then that is awesome. If it’s not for that reason, then I would want to see that trimmed a bit as it did block the river view.

We enjoyed ourselves and had a good time. My only complaint was that our cabin was pretty dirty. The dishes weren’t clean, the floors were filthy, sunscreen was smeared all over the door. It probably had a quick check before we arrived but it needed a deeper clean. We were disappointed but cleaned the dishes and made due with the rest. Staff was apologetic when I mentioned it at checkout.

Staff are always so helpful and friendly. The campground is clean, including the bathrooms and showers. Appreciate all the work you do to make this KOA a fun place to visit.

The cabin we rented was delightful. It had all the basics and we were very comfortable. Everything was fantastic! Emily was so helpful on the phone and it was a delight to meet her in person. Everyone in the office was cheerful and friendly. We are looking forward to visiting steamboat again and when we do, we will most certainly stay at the KOA!

The staff, grounds, and amenities at this property are a 10/10. Our family had the BEST time staying here in one of their super cool loft cabins. The pool was awesome, and the mini golf and bikes were so fun for the kids. The cabins were well stocked with all the camping and dining essentials, and the store onsite was stellar. Can't say enough good things about this KOA! The best of the best!

We loved the river access, putt putt, giant chess, pool, go carts, and activities. The staff was super friendly and helpful in every interaction we had. We did not love the road noise or the very thin mattresses in our cabin that made sleeping next to impossible. If we return we will definitely bring sleeping pads!

Our cabin didn't have air conditioning. The campground itself was nice. However we definitely felt mislead. The description says all beds upstairs and sleeps 6. Well there were 2 very flat double beds upstairs and a futon with the same vinyl mattress downstairs. The shower in cabin ran out of hot water the first shower. No where on the website does it say there is no air. All for $300 a night.

This was our second time visiting here. We absolutely love it! The KOA is very well kept, all the staff were courteous and helpful. We stay in the cabins, float down stream in the river, and swim in the pool. Thank you to everyone behind the scenes who made our stay a pleasant one.

This was no our second visit here. Beautiful river setting as always. A large church group of teenagers was placed in a tent site right next to us. That was a little weird.

Great camp ground and spot very near Steamboat Springs downtown. Free bus service was very convenient and great to get to and from town without driving. The only negative is that the wifi internet performance was slow and would not work at times but still a great place.

I had a wonderful time with my family here. The staff is so awesome and personable. Shout out to Shannon, Emily, and Robert because they were so helpful and kind during my stay. The pool, playground, and mini golf were so fun. We also enjoyed fishing at the river nearby. I definitely look forward to my next camping experience here.

The cabin was dirty, dead bugs in corners, incredibly HOT, no A/C which was not listed on website. I had to check out 3 hours after checking in because of wheezing due to the cabin, and all the office staff said was “sorry”. We had to rent a hotel room instead. I would like a refund !

Cabin was nice. Had cookware, stove, refrigerator. Very steep stairs, which would be a challenge for less nimble people. Very close to the road, so had some traffic noise. Nice staff.

My cousin and I had a great stay in our little camping cabin while in town for Yampa River Fest. We were so impressed with the beauty of Steamboat and the campground that we're going to try to convince our family to do the next big reunion in Steamboat and stay at the KAO. All staff we interacted with were so friendly and helpful. Thank you!

This KOA is not only located amongst beautiful scenery it’s also really family friendly. We had a group of 16 stay at two of the delux cabins and had the absolute best time. The kids were never bored and it was a short easy walk to and from each cabin. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and we will be booking again in the future.

This is a very nice KOA. We were very satisfied with our accomadations. Office staff was freindly and helpful. Just know that if you stay in the cabins and it states that no linens are provided this means bedding AND towels (for the bathroom). We didn't bring towels but the staff was nice enough to loan us a couple. It was much appreciated. I highly recommend this location.

Another lively stay! Check in we had a small problem (someone with a similar name and we were almost put in the wrong cabin but once we realized and told them they were able to fix it no problem! Everything was very clean and worked great! We love staying at Steamboat KOA!

Loved my little camping cabin. Cute, nice little porch. Winter camping, heater worked great. Everyone friendly. Bathrooms super clean everyday.
