Our reservation, incoming communication, and welcome upon arrival was excellent. Our back-in riverside campsite was perfect. We also would like to recognize the maintenance team and the cleaning team in the shower building for their attention to customer service and a pleasant stay. Every single thing from the campsite to the amenities was in place and as it should be.

Outstanding KOA. Though pricy, it was excellent. Nicely maintained, plenty of space to back in RV. Sufficient room between campers. Would definitely stay here again.

Disappointing.. Staff more preoccupied with "winterization" than customer experience. Wouldn't provide a table at my site, because they were all put away. Friends purchased three packs of fire wood only to find fire pit removed from site. Seems more concerned about "policy" than people. Should have provided more "disclosure" at registration, or just tell customers you just get a site.

Quiet hours are from 10 pm-7am but that doesn’t stop the garbage truck coming and dumping at 6am every other day. Told the staff about it and they said, e know we have had complaints about it before. Told us we should contact the sanitation company and complain-really? They are contracted by KOA and they should be the ones contacting them. If you stay, enjoy your early wake up!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I spoke to this lady at site 61, she was disappointed when the trash pickup came, I did not tell her to contact sanitation company, that I had done this already, They pick up once a week.

Very nice camp ground. The only draw back was our sewer access. It was a long way away and up hill. I actually used the access for the adjoining site which was well placed.

My heater in my RV was not working and it was 37 degrees at nite. Was to stay 2 nites.decided to head home to SLC early. I left and called to see about a refund under these circumstances. I am a KOA member who often stays in KOA’s as I cross the country 2X/year. Was not it is against policy to give refund for early departure! BS

We have stayed there several times before. The campground is fine but we're upset about a $25 early arrival fee. It was a cold fall day and over 1/2 of the campsites were empty and we arrived just one hour early but the owner insisted on adding a $25 fee for early arrival even though we are KOA members and they weren't busy. Never had that at any other KOA.

Great location on the Yampa River. This KOA has been upgraded in recent years, with new pull through patio sites and cabins added. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Nice people, helpful. Be sure to have a water pressure regulator. We just kept the tap low and had no problems.

Loved the access to Bike Trail. Fishing was awesome. Clean bathrooms and easy checking. Bus to town! We’ll be back for sure.

Scenery amazing on the river. Charged for extra pet(had 2). Would not check us in early 1 1/2 hour even tho spot available without 25$ fee. Nor would they let you wait there. Campground very clean

I am my camping group of several RVers were highly disappointed that when we arrived a bit early, ie, before the 2 pm check in time we were turned away and told to park down the street until 2 PM. Our sites were available and we were not allowed in. I will ensure our camping group never uses this KOA again. Highly disappointing, does not lead to any customer satisfaction.

We walked into the office at 12:25pm, and were told,we couldn't check in until 1:00pm and that it would be an additional $25.00, because check in time was 2:00pm. We were also told we could talk our 35 foot 5th wheel and park down the highway after driving for hours we felt it was VERY RUDE! We have traveled to 100's of rv parks and have NEVER been treated this way.

It was quick. Arrived after hours. Filled out the form for the campsite we chose. Ate dinner. Took shower. Immediately went to bed. Left at 5am for Rocky Mountain NP We plan to return here. Hosts are well organized even though we didn’t meet them!

Candy was so kind when I made my original reservation. I called a few times before my arrival for details about the site and was always greeted with a cheerful and helpful voice. We asked about cleaning our grill so we could cook on it and they immediately sent over a gentleman to clean it and was ernest in wanting to make sure it was satisfactory. Beautiful campground with lots of amenities. My son had a camping spot and I had a deluxe cabin-both were awesome. The cabin was cleaned and well-maintained, with kitchen supplies, toilet paper and soap. Staff were great, contacting us to give details for late check-in. Store next to office is great!

Great option to stay in town in the winter. We travel in our Sprinter 144 and there are not a lot of options for stealth camping in the winter. On one of our nights the temp dropped dramatically and well below the forecast. Woke up with a nearly dead battery and some diesel that was gelled. The staff supplied me with a trickle charger and a propane heater to point towards the undercarriage. Got the engine running in now time. The guys there helped me out big time.
