Love the location, the river, having a pool & mini golf. The grounds are looking worn (pool, golf) and could use some TLC/updating. Grass needs cut by river. Also, when driving around and telling everyone to come do an activity (e.g., tie-dye), it would be helpful to tell them there is a cost (e.g., you have to buy the t-shirts to tie-dye). We stay every summer and will be back next summer again!

The staff were helpful and kind. However, I was not happy that I was charged $5/day per dog for my stay. I feel like the cost to stay here sufficiently covered my dogs. This KOA was more expensive than others I stayed at. The dog enclosure was extremely small, which was also a disappointment. Nice campground if you have kids though.

Excellent as always! The staff is SO kind!! Just a random comment about the tall weeds in front of river by the cabins blocked the river view quite a bit. If it’s to regrow vegetation/conservation then that is awesome. If it’s not for that reason, then I would want to see that trimmed a bit as it did block the river view.

We enjoyed ourselves and had a good time. My only complaint was that our cabin was pretty dirty. The dishes weren’t clean, the floors were filthy, sunscreen was smeared all over the door. It probably had a quick check before we arrived but it needed a deeper clean. We were disappointed but cleaned the dishes and made due with the rest. Staff was apologetic when I mentioned it at checkout.

Emily when I called in was great! Helpful and made sure our spots gave us lasting memories. At check in Shannon was so friendly and informative. Our sites were great and our highlight was meeting Michael Jordan! He made us feel so welcomed and fun!!!!! He helped me understand how to back my camper in and what KOA means to him. Always love coming here. From the moment of checking in, the staff is friendly and helpful. The site was big enough for our coach and our truck. Our site was close to the river to enjoy tubing or just wading in the water.

This KOA was absolutely a nightmare from the time we arrived until we had to leave the next morning. We had reserved a Large Pull thru spot on May 5th for 8 nights, our only vacation this year coming from Indiana. We stayed one night and had to pay for three! According to their records we had not chosen our spot correctly online! We have lost our vacation and our money!

The Steamboat Springs KOA is very well run and the staff is very friendly. They have a lot of amenities and the location is good, close to town and the Yampa River bike path.

Traveling through Steamboat Springs as part of the route for the COBDR off road Motorcycle experience. Staff was very friendly and quite helpful as we were traveling with a group of 14 motorcycles and each with there own tent to set up. I would highly recommend this location for RV's and or tent campers.

The cabin we rented was delightful. It had all the basics and we were very comfortable. Everything was fantastic! Emily was so helpful on the phone and it was a delight to meet her in person. Everyone in the office was cheerful and friendly. We are looking forward to visiting steamboat again and when we do, we will most certainly stay at the KOA!

Great KOA location in Steamboat Springs, CO. We were welcomed with open arms and appreciated the golf cart driving Marshaller to guide us to our site. The facility has an abundance of amenities that were greatly appreciated and well maintained. The children staying with parents and grandparents were definitely having a blast. We will be back next time we visit our daughter.

Two night stay in pull-through with small travel trailer. Campground is clean, people very nice & helpful, stream is beautiful. Larger rigs will probably want to reserve in back section (opposite side of river from Store/office) as sites are longer in that section of RV park versus side nearest entrance.

I was disappointed in the amount of noice around the campground in the evening. I tried to go to bed at 9pm which was after quiet hours but the campground was still very loud. Having a movie night start at 9pm after quiet hours isn't the best idea!

The staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall the older RV sites are fine, some additional landscaping would greatly improve the location overall. Planting bushes or trees between the RV sites and between the campground and the highway would go a long way. Overall, we will be back but likely more intentional about picking an RV site on the newer side of this location.

Everything was pretty good although the men’s bathroom was not cleaned on Wednesday or Thursday. There were pieces of toilet paper all over the floor and the toilets weren’t cleaned for a couple of days. No toilet paper in one of the stalls on Friday morning. Don’t know if someone was off for two days or what but would think there would be someone around to cover days off or sick call offs.

Paid way too much - disgusting bathrooms! On our side of the campground one bathroom didn’t lock properly and had poop on the walls. The other one had dirty underwear curled up in the corner. I went to the one with the code, one stall had pee all over the seat, the next stall had pee and toilet paper all over the seat, one had poop that wouldn’t flush and the showers flooded all over the floor

Tent spot was cleaned when I arrived. Enjoyed being on the river. Employees were pleasant. The bathrooms and shower room was not cleaned regularly. Toilet seat covers were empty. Close proximity to town and was nice to have the bus for back and forth. Had stayed in other campgrounds this Summer that were top notch. Spaces were very close together.

The staff, grounds, and amenities at this property are a 10/10. Our family had the BEST time staying here in one of their super cool loft cabins. The pool was awesome, and the mini golf and bikes were so fun for the kids. The cabins were well stocked with all the camping and dining essentials, and the store onsite was stellar. Can't say enough good things about this KOA! The best of the best!
