Definitely THE best KOA I have ever stayed at for its view and ambiance. Very quiet at night even with highway nearby (thankfully there are no loud bikers during the winter). The bathrooms were kept clean, although a bit far away from my camp spot. My neighbors were very respectful and friendly. The staff was very helpful.

The Steamboat KOA was wonderful, and we will definitely stay here again. Staff was welcoming and friendly, bathrooms and shower area were clean and heated, quiet hours were observed, there is a small dog park (could be larger, and was a bit snowed in, but worked fine) and plenty of space to walk dogs on leash, and there is a bus stop to town with convenient bus schedule. Great place to stay!

Late arrival procedure was easy and convenient. Despite the massive amount of snow in town, every site was cleared and accessible. This had all the amenities needed for a quick trip through Steamboat.

We just needed a place to park legally for two overnights in Steamboat Springs. We didn't arrive until late and had to leave early both nights. It would be cool if some non-electrical/hookup spots were available in the winter. But the little bit of the facility we saw was nice and appreciated that it was plowed out well.

Bathrooms shower stalls are small, and could use some more frequent cleaning the overflow floor drain was clogged. Sinks and toilets were very clean. Back in site was plowed, after 40 in of snow. Had to dig out door entrances, but all in all great spot. Hosts were friendly and helpful on the bus schedule. Would like to fish the spot.

Was a great long weekend stay over a winter holiday. KOA did a great job of snow removal during the blizzard! Check in was easy. Bathrooms were clean. Was a great stay.

We love staying at Steamboat springs KOA! The staff is great and friendly. It location puts you far enough away from the resort hustle and bustle, plus the free shuttle to get into town. We currently stayed at the new tiny house option. It was a different experience for us since we are usually in our camper van. But with sobzero conditions it was warranted. The house was comfy an spacious.

The deluxe tiny home we stayed in was very clean, warm and inviting. The layout of the cabin with the porch on the back offered a great view and privacy (106). The staff was wonderful and helpful ( and this in the middle of winter!). Nice job, thank you!

We originally booked for two nights and ended up staying a week. They do a fantastic job plowing and have a very clean campsite. Kind and helpful staff. Beautiful views and located conveniently to town. We hope to be back during summer.

Always a clean facility. All team members are friendly and helpful. We tent camp there in summer and stay in cabin during winter. Will be back.

The stay itself was fine, but the outrageous price increase over the past year makes staying at the KOA not worth it. In March of 2023, I booked a electric only truck camper spot for $50/night. Now (Dec 2023) that same stay is $75/night. In the winter, the cheaper price was the only reason we would stay here. With the nearby budget hotels being $85/night, the KOA is not worth it.

It’s not the first time the heater didn’t work in our camping cabin. We got an excellent response from the “after hours” service, bringing us a back-up portable electric heater. It konked out in the early morning hours. Thank goodness for our down duvets and a warm pup at our feet. There have been a lot of improvements over the years at this KOA but they have failed to upgrade the fail

The front desk lady was very nice and helpful. The cabin was clean and cozy, at a very reasonable price. Would stay here again.

Awesome! We stayed in a deluxe cabin for 5 days. We didn’t want to leave. The campground is great, the staff is friendly and extremely helpful. We can’t wait to go back again!

The camp host(s) were very rude and cantankerous. Furthermore, the camp pricing at the Steamboat KOA is an utter ripoff!!! Highly recommend not camping there.

Our reservation, incoming communication, and welcome upon arrival was excellent. Our back-in riverside campsite was perfect. We also would like to recognize the maintenance team and the cleaning team in the shower building for their attention to customer service and a pleasant stay. Every single thing from the campsite to the amenities was in place and as it should be.

Stayed in cabin L101. Really enjoyed the stay. Might want to consider a sleeper couch vs a futon. The futon was not that comfortable to sit on. But other than that we had a great time.

Outstanding KOA. Though pricy, it was excellent. Nicely maintained, plenty of space to back in RV. Sufficient room between campers. Would definitely stay here again.

Disappointing.. Staff more preoccupied with "winterization" than customer experience. Wouldn't provide a table at my site, because they were all put away. Friends purchased three packs of fire wood only to find fire pit removed from site. Seems more concerned about "policy" than people. Should have provided more "disclosure" at registration, or just tell customers you just get a site.

Quiet hours are from 10 pm-7am but that doesn’t stop the garbage truck coming and dumping at 6am every other day. Told the staff about it and they said, e know we have had complaints about it before. Told us we should contact the sanitation company and complain-really? They are contracted by KOA and they should be the ones contacting them. If you stay, enjoy your early wake up!

I spoke to this lady at site 61, she was disappointed when the trash pickup came, I did not tell her to contact sanitation company, that I had done this already, They pick up once a week.

Very nice camp ground. The only draw back was our sewer access. It was a long way away and up hill. I actually used the access for the adjoining site which was well placed.

My heater in my RV was not working and it was 37 degrees at nite. Was to stay 2 nites.decided to head home to SLC early. I left and called to see about a refund under these circumstances. I am a KOA member who often stays in KOA’s as I cross the country 2X/year. Was not it is against policy to give refund for early departure! BS

Charged Summer rates for October stay. On the description states swing (patio furniture) fire pit and gas grill are included in our 2 night stay that was over 300.00! The staff was rude, uncooperative and unprofessional. Save your money, read ALL their reviews and you will go else where. Just because it’s a KOA, that doesn’t mean all adhere to the same standards and policies. Awful.

We have stayed there several times before. The campground is fine but we're upset about a $25 early arrival fee. It was a cold fall day and over 1/2 of the campsites were empty and we arrived just one hour early but the owner insisted on adding a $25 fee for early arrival even though we are KOA members and they weren't busy. Never had that at any other KOA.

Beautiful campground with lots of amenities. My son had a camping spot and I had a deluxe cabin-both were awesome. The cabin was cleaned and well-maintained, with kitchen supplies, toilet paper and soap. Staff were great, contacting us to give details for late check-in. Store next to office is great!

Great option to stay in town in the winter. We travel in our Sprinter 144 and there are not a lot of options for stealth camping in the winter. On one of our nights the temp dropped dramatically and well below the forecast. Woke up with a nearly dead battery and some diesel that was gelled. The staff supplied me with a trickle charger and a propane heater to point towards the undercarriage. Got the engine running in now time. The guys there helped me out big time.
