Bathrooms and cabins were clean and on par! Thecsmall cabin did have a heater and bathrooms/showers were withing walking distance. Staff was very helpful and even took us to our site with a golf cart. Everyone at the KOA was respectful and clean! Great option close to the mountain for around $100! Thanks again.

We found the staff to be great. Bathrooms were well cared for and warm enough to shower in The road ways were in good shape and safe to move around in. We were here to ski and it was great having the bus shuttle to town and the ski area. We did use the outside dish washing station and it worked fine. It would be nice if you could figure out how to enclose that area for winter use. Thank you.

Very nice the WiFi in lot 62 didn’t work for us . It helped us winter ski and sleep in our van without issues.

My first time at this KOA. When I arrived to check in the girl was in the phone. I waited about 15 minutes. While I was waiting a man came in behind me waiting as well. When she got off the phone she immediately helped him for 10 minutes ignoring me! This guy was checking in as well. Why did she ignore me. Why not tell the rude man that I was clearly first! Stayed a few nights at the Steamboat Springs KOA for some great skiing. Great Campground!

I'm consistently happy with the facilities at Steamboat KOA. This is my third stay here and second time in the Tiny Home cabins. The cabins are great and stayed really warm during this very cold visit. I have family that stay through the winter to ski and they really enjoy all of the amenities that Steamboat KOA offers. The fact that the free bus literally stops here is a game changer.

Excellent base camp for ski adventures. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were very clean and warm. Showers were also warm with good pressure. We will definitely stay here again on our next ski trip to Steamboat.

I believe that if a KOA is designated a "Holiday" it should stand above a normal KOA and this one does not. The management is very nice and the location is good but there really is nothing special about this KOA. Overall this is an average campground but considering there are no others in Steamboat in winter a blessing.

This was our first camping experience camping with our new 5th wheel RV. The staff was fantastic with helping out. The bathrooms were clean. The bus service from the city was great for getting around Steamboat Springs. If we go back to Steamboat we will definitely use the campground again.

The manager Laurie needs a attitude adjustment towards customers the tone she had with me was completely unacceptable! I put in complaints to Koa management! Her attitude with me was because they cant seem to be able to measure the length of the parking spots! I have never been treated so poorly or rudely by a manager who is supposed to be helpful!

Because we didn’t want to pay for a premium location, we were close to the highway and associated noise. We love the dark, but there were so many bright lights in the Kampground, I think there could be an option of insuring the lights point down, not out, which could be helpful. The staff was extremely helpful when it came time to dump or black and grey water tanks.

Enjoyed the stay, however they need to post that they are setting up for the winter where it is noticeable on the reservation page not down in the contract text. They need to alert their customer as water and tables are important. The trailer next to us was as suprised as we were that the water was turned off and the table was gone.

Liked that it was at the end of the Bus Route making it easy to get into town. Bathrooms were clean, staff was friendly. Liked that they allowed us to downgrade to a tent site for our Camper van.

Staff did not remind campers that water had been turned off. No fire rings or picnic tables provided. When checking about upgrade they only offered highest priced deluxe sites and did not offer other options. Later found out were mid range sites available with water.

I was disappointed that there were no fire rings and that all the picnic tables had been removed for the winter. I saw no evidence that fire rings were ever on the premises, despite being told by a worker that they too had been stored for the winter. Irrespective, picnic tables and camp fires ARE a basic part of camping. Highway noise is significant. A city bus stops at the campground. (the good)

A great stay. Would have been five stars but for the missing fire pits, tables, and amenities. I can't imagine that packing up for the winter season requires so long that you can't wait until substantial snow is actually in the forecast.

It’s one of the more expensive KOAs and yet has some of the least friendly workers. They took all the picnic tables and fire pits away. Within walking distance and wouldn’t let us have one. Even if we got it our selves. It’s like they said no just to say no. And we went fall break. So there was no reason they couldn’t have left a few sites set up, especially for the price. wouldn’t recom

Very nice place and staff. Dump station needs leveling to remove standing water next to sewer pipe area. If visiting again I will get a site that includes a sewer hookup.

Not sure if it’s all cabins but the bed mat in ours was completely useless, luckily we had a tent pad with us. Playground could be fenced in considering it is right at the entrance, traveling with 2 toddlers it did not feel very safe. Beautiful location though with the river and other amenities!

Very friendly staff. They helped us a couple of times. It is a nice KOA with the Yampa river running right through it. I eve did a little fishing which was nice. The kids loved it as well.

My cabin had a lovely location beside the Yampa River, and I enjoyed my coffee on the porch swing watching the sun sparkle on the water. Convenient location close to town and very well maintained facilities.

The maintenance for the grounds were not kept up. There was leaves packed on the ground with no attempts to rake the sites. We would track in leaves into our camper every time we enter it. It was also too close to the street, lots of traffic sounds.
