Stayed in a camper cabin. Everything was clean and taken care of. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

We love this place because of the people who work here!! You all go above and beyond to help everyone and you are all super nice and very friendly and just enjoyable to talk with!! Site 5 was great and a grounds keeper even cleared out some willows so we could see more of the yampa river. The water hose for the dump station was lacking some psi for black tank wash out. But all in all we had a good time as we spend a lot of time in steamboat to ski we will start spend more time in the summer at this KOA. Cheers

Great amenities for the whole family. Also like being just outside of town but not too far away and the shuttle service makes it easy to get to town. I highly recommend staying here.

Lots of fun activities. Bike riding, swimming pool, miniature golf, playground and even wine tasting for the adults. Free shuttle picks you up at front gate and takes you into town. Cool river runs through camp.

This was no our second visit here. Beautiful river setting as always. A large church group of teenagers was placed in a tent site right next to us. That was a little weird.

Good location on River and short distance to downtown Steamboat; also has a city bus stop. For KOA the bathrooms & showers were not up to the normal standands - need some modernizing especially the ones in the newer premium site areas which it appears they spent a lot of money on the sites but little thought on restrooms. Maybe because these sites are for the big Class As?

When we got to our site. The weeds were over a foot tall. Do you not mow the sites? Saturday night the guy a couple rows down had a massive fire in his pit and then started setting off fireworks. The blowing up in the air fireworks. I tried calling the office because it's high fire danger, no one answered and no one came to check . Shouldn't there be an emergency contact number?

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

WE do have an after hours number that is on the campground pamphlet that is handed out, it is also listed on the front of office. Police were called and management did respond to the fireworks.

I’ve been a long time camper at almost over 50 koa’s and this one I wouldn’t recommend to any fellow camper l reserved a patio 38 ft spot was not told it was a buddy site I didn’t reserve a buddy site the site itself was small the sewer was out by the road never seen anything like that they are usually in the middle of the site almost had to hook 3 hoses up will not be reserving this koa a

We only stayed one night but the park is very nice; office is super nice and helpful. Bathrooms are a little dated but clean. We would definitely stay here again!

very nice place if pool heater works. grandkids would appreciate warmer water Every thing else was good, very nice staff

Good afternoon, the pool heater does work, it was set to 86 degrees, we have since turned it down to 70 , but the heater is working great.

Other than the camper that shot off fireworks on Saturday night it was a fun place to stay - I hope that the person gets blocked from staying at koa. It took me 3 hours to calm down my nerves and my dog. We had a great time at bingo

I called and had to change our reservation and your staff were very accommodating. I like that they take you directly to your site. They found us the perfect spot. This is the 3rd time we've been here and have seen the growth in this park. Very nice. My GPS went out and a sign before your driveway would have been helpful especially coming from the north.

We were right next to the highway, the road noise kept me awake for three hours after I tried to go to sleep. Huge fire works at 11, sounded like gunshots Horrible location for a tent trailer. Full sun, too loud!

The ladies at the front desk are so nice, happy and Helpful...They really made you feel welcome the second you walk in the door. The whole campground is clean and buzzing with lots of fun activities! Thanks Steamboat Crew, you all are Amazing!

So clean and very organized! The staff was the best especially Sandy at the check-in counter. She provided tons of info for winter camping options and other helpful hints on booking sites. Liked that we were escorted to camp sites. The pool was clean, didn't use, fun stuff for kids. Loved the free shuttle to Steamboat. Will definitely be back!

Packed in like sardines. Bathrooms gross and backed up morning and night. Minimal night lighting. Very dangerous narrow bridge for pedestrian and vehicle traffic.

Stayed here before. It is a good campground. Friendly staff, good things to do. The water was definitely brown this time around- not sure if it wasn’t treated or not (I always bring my own drinking water camping, but even with a filter there was a brown tint to the water at my site). Will likely stay here again in the fall.

I was pleasantly surprised at the amenities at this KOA. Each spot has table and chairs, 2 Adirondack chairs and a gas grill! I wish I had know, I over packed :( Bathrooms and showers were clean. Nice pool, small but delightful. and the Yampa runs right through the middle of the campground. The old section has more trees but closer to the road. The new sections has nice wide spots but no shade.

Love this KOA! Seems like we come every year, and we’ll be back for the second time this year! Very clean, spacious, and right on the edge of town. The Yampa runs right through the campground, which is an added bonus!

Great camp ground and spot very near Steamboat Springs downtown. Free bus service was very convenient and great to get to and from town without driving. The only negative is that the wifi internet performance was slow and would not work at times but still a great place.

The campground is very conveniently located right on the Yampa River with free transportation to downtown Steamboat Springs. Very clean with lots of amenities to enjoy for all ages. The staff were very professional and helpful especially Nikii who was super helpful in locating the perfect campsite for our family's stay!

Great office staff! Lovely park. We stayed in the “new” section and thought it was great. No shade but the sites are spacious and the patio is fantastic. We would not want to be on the other side of the bridge ….just seemed tight for our coach. We would definitely stay here again.

The tent site was great, but the bathrooms were not up to KOA standards. The floor in the womens’ bathroom was always covered in dirty water and trash.
