This place should be a Journey KOA, not a Holiday. The bathrooms were some of the worst we’ve seen compared to other KOA’s. Wifi was unreliable. Hours for the store that were posted were not honored, one night they closed two hours early. We were not very impressed

The store should have cases of water or jugs versus single bottles. That would be wonderful especially with it being so far away from a store. The grill food items portions are not very big. Otherwise, sites were clean and fair sized.

My boyfriend, my dog and I had a great time at the campground. People are very friendly and campground was super clean in general. If you like being in the wild and away from people this won't be for you. I already knew what I was getting so did not bother me. Spots are small and close to each other. And boat lunch makes the campground busy. Either way we had fun and a great stay.

We had such a great time at the Lyons Ferry KOA! We showed up a little later in the day and they had all of our information ready to go so we could head straight to our site. The bathrooms were very clean and all the campsites were very well maintained. Nice and quiet, we really enjoyed ourselves!

Great amenities and beautiful scenery. My only gripe was that the lots were right next to each other. Bring earplugs as the trains that pass by get fairly loud.

The place is fantastic we spent 3 amazing days in Boyer Marina KOA. However, there're a couple things to improve: consider puting one honey bucket to the far side of the camp and you need one extra wifi hotspot+ increase bandwith.

Tent camper. Good things: Bathrooms were clean. Check-in easy. Bad things: Why place our group of 3 adults right next to a big family when the entire upper area was empty besides our two groups. Why a two tent limit? I understand limiting the number of people but the tent limit is silly, especially when the group next two us had two large tents, each occupying more space than three of ours.

We were told to be quiet even before quiet hours. The staff made our stay un-enjoyable.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

While everyone likes music, not all like the same kind of music. Your music could be heard on the other side of the building. All we asked was that you turn it down so others would not be disturbed.

Beautiful views, trees for shade, campsites grass - not dirt, very clean. Boat moorage is so nice, easy to make reservations, gas on-site - friendly, helpful staff. Restaurant on-site. 3 nights tent camping with moorage, under $140... This place has my vote! We did not want to leave. There is a train track right there, and trains do come by in the middle of the night, but kids loved it!

The accommodations were great! The staff are really friendly and answered my questions. I recommend going late summer/early fall. 83°F is perfect. Also, it's located at in a serene area.

I would not recommend this location. I’ve stayed at plenty of koa locations, and this place was a very different experience. We felt very stuck out in the middle of nowhere, and there wasn’t even large amounts of water available for purchase. No stores for miles. There was a burn ban yet they allowed people to burn fires.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The fires that were burning in the campsites near you were propane fires and are approved by the burn ban. However, those same campers expressed concern over your aggressive behavior towards them. That is why you were asked to leave. Aggressive behavior is not tolerated at this campground.

I stayed here during a motorcycle trip which was unfortunately during the heat wave this year. I had a late check in due to traveling from a long distance. Late check-in was easy and the tent sight was easy to find. Only stayed long enough to set up my tent, sleep, and break down camp early in the morning to try and get some miles in before the heat arrived, the low was still in the upper 90's.

When we were taking down the tent, it was extremely windy since the site was on top of a hill. The tent sites should not be on the side of a steep slope.

Friendly staff, clean restrooms and shower rooms, nice and clean campground. We can park our car on the campground grass which is very convenient. We’ll definitely go back in the future. Thanks for every staff’s smiling face!

Not much amenities compared to other Koa for kids.The campsite were not upto the mark.Lastly they ended up charging me late check out fee without my consent even after informing them in advance and getting a pre consent from office.We just happen to check out 1 hr past the check out I could have understand if they had a reservation in place they had none.Pretty rude experience of the office staff

The bathrooms were super clean! This was our first time staying at a KOA campground, we don't have kids and I probably wouldn't recommend this campground to other friends who don't have kids. The number of kids running around unsupervised was shocking. I did love how dog friendly the campground is - however, the dog park was covered in foxtails which are really dangerous for dogs!

The surrounding landscape is amazing and the campgrounds are good. The bathrooms/showers are separate and ok, but the men's showers lacked pressure. Found the camp store to be a bit understocked in supplies for an out-of-the-way area with no towns nearby.
