As always, we had the best vacation thanks to the owners and their staff. Joanne was accommidating and provided excellent service. After 10+ years we have never been disappointed and look forward to next year.

The accommodations were great! The staff are really friendly and answered my questions. I recommend going late summer/early fall. 83°F is perfect. Also, it's located at in a serene area.

Cabin was very nice, not much for the kids to do. There was a small play structure but would have been nice to have horseshoe pits. It is in a pretty remote location right on the water which was beautiful. The camp had WiFi but it was not very strong

I would not recommend this location. I’ve stayed at plenty of koa locations, and this place was a very different experience. We felt very stuck out in the middle of nowhere, and there wasn’t even large amounts of water available for purchase. No stores for miles. There was a burn ban yet they allowed people to burn fires.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The fires that were burning in the campsites near you were propane fires and are approved by the burn ban. However, those same campers expressed concern over your aggressive behavior towards them. That is why you were asked to leave. Aggressive behavior is not tolerated at this campground.

The cleanliness of the bathrooms was great. The only thing I would improve on is the store making more available. We had to drive an hour into town to get anything we needed. We weren't sure about the area so we originally weren't sure what to pack. We needed things like lunchmeat, other grocery items. Although emergency items were there, I wished there was a lot more.

I stayed here during a motorcycle trip which was unfortunately during the heat wave this year. I had a late check in due to traveling from a long distance. Late check-in was easy and the tent sight was easy to find. Only stayed long enough to set up my tent, sleep, and break down camp early in the morning to try and get some miles in before the heat arrived, the low was still in the upper 90's.

We weren't able to level, sites slope downwards, front tires would have been off the ground.. First site had a large tree with branches covering the last third of our rig. Pointed this out as we were backing up, obvious that it was a problem and don't know why the KOA person kept trying to back us in anyway. I had our site changed. Poor WIFI. Dodged sprinklers, but still water spots on vehicles.

Campground is very clean and well kept. Marina has the necessities plus a nice little restaurant. Everyone is very friendly and helpful!

When we were taking down the tent, it was extremely windy since the site was on top of a hill. The tent sites should not be on the side of a steep slope.

The bathrooms were by far the cleanest campground restrooms we have ever seen. Very friendly staff. We arrived after dark and the host helped guide my trailer on to the camp spot. The entire RV park was very clean and tidy. The dog park was really nice and gave the dogs a good place to go run around. We will definitely stay here again!

Wouldn’t recommend. Although the cabin was nice, I feel it was overpriced along with the $6/gallon gas. Besides a full tank of gas, you should arrive with all the groceries you need. Nothing around for miles.

We just spent 5 nights in our motorhome at the campground and others in our group rented cabins and tent sites. We were very impressed with the entire facility. The grounds were well maintained and the staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Special thanks to Tom for helping us move the gear out of our boat. Thank you for your help in making our family reunion a huge success!

The campground itself was as expected. The marina and surrounding areas were clean and presentable. The staff / owner (?) was super friendly when checking in and this started out are stay in such a positive manner.

We stayed here for one night on our journey north. Check-in was friendly, the sites impeccably maintained, and the showers adequate though water temperature a little on the cool side. The staff leaves at 6 pm, so there was a bit of a party in the tent section and a camper van that pulled in and parked outside a normal spot. But really not too much of a problem. The marina was quiet while we there.

We were pleasantly surprised by Lyons Ferry Marina KOA, the drive there was nothing but farmland for miles, no trees, no nothing, than there's this little oasis! The staff was so much fun and very freindly! The campgrounds were nice and clean. my husband and I enjoyed our time there very much!

No supervision in pool. People did whatever they wanted at the pool. Glass beer bottles, kids running all over & diving. No rules even tho posted! Store not open! No activities

I'm sorry, but we don't have a pool. Was this meant for Lyons Ferry KOA or a different campground?

Third year there during the 4th of July, go because of no fireworks. There’s not a lot to do so you make sure to take items to entertain yourself ie reading, games etc. The showers were ok, could use some regular thorough cleaning, been in worse! The water was warm throughout showering though. Make sure when they say check in time is 1:00 to not expect to get in earlier, they are adamant!!!!!!!

Wally and Joanne are wonderful hosts! They are sincere, friendly, and a joy to be around. This is our 3rd stay here and we LOVED it! The facilities are well maintained and the location is perfect!

If you have a boat, then this is a good camping spot. Not recommend to go there during summer time. Because there’s no shade for the spots that have power and water. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience. Will not go to this location again.

Bathrooms are clean, store closes early. Restaurant closed Monday and Tuesday. Showers in poor shape compared to other KOA campgrounds. No water pressure, only cold water, no place to set your clothes when showering and no spot to dump your tanks if you don’t have a site with a dump. Campsites have green grass.

Even with the extreme heat, we had a great time at the resort. Very friendly staff and the park is beautiful. Well maintained. We definately will be coming back!

The KOA was convenient as a mid-way point on our journey, but is not a place we would choose to stay again. The staff were helpful, thefacilities were spotless, the store had basics, and the laundry room was excellent and had AC. The day we were there it was over 100 degrees and the lack of shade in the afternoon for all but the tent spots made it challenging and the evening bugs were intense.

We stayed one night, just a stop over on our way home from Oregon. We selected Lyons Ferry for it's location on the river, however we were very disappointed when we got there to find that there was no access to the river unless we had a boat. It was 117 degrees and we were very much looking forward to going swimming. I will say that the person in the store when we were checking in was fabulous.

The people who run this place are great. Very thankful that they were able to help with my reservation and get us in when requested. Easy to get to from the Tri Cities. I believe the property needs more/better landscaping on the hill behind the spots going up to cabins and bath house. The hill is patchy and the tree roots dont make for nice shade spot. Spots are very tight, but overall ok.
