This was a rustic and rundown site. I understand we were tenting out of season (October), but there wasn't anything nice about the place except perhaps the young man who checked us in. The shower head had no hot water and shot out at the curtain and my clothes. The outside washing sink was filled with tree debris. Trash from the next site was still there. The location was ok; the site was not

Location was perfect to bike ride into town, bike the chain of rocks bridge and watch the sunset on the banks of the Mississippi!

I had the pleasure in stopping over for the night after nearly completing a 2-week road trip. I can actually say that I enjoyed relaxing and getting a good night's sleep. The site was clean and staff was friendly and attentive.

Not the most pleasant family experience - the playground wasn’t in the best repair or accessible to little kids, the whole campground felt cramped, and the crowd was especially undesirable - the smell of pot dominated a lot of the evenings, and the group of foul-mouthed drug addicts didn’t help… we never felt wholly unsafe or disgusted per se, but certainly not the KOA experience we are used

Very nice people own and run it. Clean grounds and facilities. The surrounding area wasn't great but as soon as you entered the grounds it was like you left the city.

It was smooth, without problems. There really wasn't anything to do for adults there. The mosquitoes were horrible. The wi-fi was pretty strong in the tent area.

Just overnight. The site’s were nice but the bath house and store were very old. It just needs a little love.

Upon arrival we were informed tent stakes were prohibited. A storm blew our tent around and damaged it When I asked about the prohibited stakes AMANDA was very argumentative, belligerent and rude. She made it a personal attack stating “I do not want you damaging my electric cables.” I stated that my tent was damaged and I was told to leave the campsite in a very rude manner.

Surrounded by traffic, trains & noisy wildlife don't expect a quiet stay. The grounds are well kept and the staff was great! But no, not a good spot for camping.

Overall a really nice place, close to St Louis. There are covered picnic tables for each tent campsite, that was nice. Only complaint, there are clearly posted signs saying no campfires and a white trash group of people camped near us and built a fire at night. Loud, let their kids wander through our campsite. Would have been nice if camp host had noticed and been able to do something.

Great place for a quick overnight camping trip. Clean area, bathroom, shower and laundry. Friendly staff. Price was a little high for camping.

Nice little campground. Only downsides...located near a semi-active train track & it's surrounded by trucking companies in an industrial area.

Super nice staff. Clean facilities. Frankly, I grew up with a train track near my house, and I find it soothing to listen to at night, though I know it probably bothers some people. Nothing they can do about that!

It was very nice. The kids enjoyed the pool and the jumping pillow. It was a quiet park and very well kept, I’ll certainly be back.

Stay met our needs and was affordable. We stayed in a tent but explored the city more than stayed at camp. Might be nice to add a dish washing sink outside for the tent campers.

Very clean restrooms. Pleasant trees. Everything nicely laid out. Maintained gravel. The area outside the campground is rather industrial, but inside the campground seems secluded and woodsy.

After hour arrival, friendly host was able to help us with our questions about the campsite. Loved the tulips and other spring flowers. Men's showers need some work, only one of the three worked.

Great, clean facility & bathrooms, Amanda was great! Water in the shower was lukewarm but otherwise a great oasis and would stay here again if passing through!

I didn't realize the campground was near multiple railroad crossings, so that was unexpected to hear in the middle of the night. There were also a number of cats running around the property and I was concerned we might get one in our tent. Both of these items were a surprise more than a nuisance. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the facilities were clean and well maintained.

Worst KOA I've ever stayed at. No one was wearing a uniform, trash all over the place, didn't feel safe at all. Told us to set up in any spot we want but sites were so weird we had no clue which was which and was very confusing. The laundry had very short hours and the game room, if you can even call it that, was a joke. Bathrooms were clean and my kids enjoyed the jumping pillow.

Made on line reservation at 4 pm the same day upon arrival after office closing there was no welcome Package for me but there were for others, called telephone number provided and still waiting for a call Back, chose my own site and hopes for the best, one mens shower not working and urinal out of service, no garage bins in campground, not Up to normal koa standards don’t feel was with 36

Main concern was the bathroom, especially the showers. All 3 showers shared drain along back wall which was entirely clogged. Couldn’t step down in the shower area without stepping in 3 inches of dirty water from other people. Shower head pushed projectile water, getting floor even beyond dressing area wet. Hoping young lady at checkout was able to clean totally inefficient drain.

There were plenty of shady sites available. The tent sites all have electricity and a water spigot at the site. Oh, and some of the tent sites have the tables under a roof.

We tent camped 7 nights. THE GOOD ... The POOL, huge and clean, bathrooms and showers are remodeled and clean, the laundry space is clean. The girls running the office are very pleasant. Did feel safe, would recommend. THE BAD - lots of OVERGROWN bushes and tree limbs, lawn guy is obviously lazy, weed eating job was horrible and half assed. CATS ... lots of feral cats running around. EEEEEKKK

The campground is fine. The location is not as its right beside a railroad track. It also seemed to be in a old neglected area. Campground was fine. We were only there for one night and it worked well for us. Staff was nice as well.

It rained, but it didn't matter, the grounds were beautiful, quiet, well kept and the staff was so nice and helpful. The bathrooms were clean and the laundry worked perfectly.

This was a koa campground. Easy off,easy on from the highway.
