The KOA could have looked nicer with the trimming of trees and general grounds cleanup. The staff could have also been more outgoing and made conversation with guests while out and about.

It gets a 5 for location. The rest would only be a 2. Check-in was 2. We arrived at 3. The guy was cutting the grass on our site and the sites on either side of us. Worried about throwing rocks. Campground was far from full. We felt he should have the grass cut before our arrival. Grass was not cut under picnic table. It also had large metal meter covers under the table so we couldnt use it.

It is in an industrial area. There was a lot of early morning banging from the industrial area. There is a train track right behind the camp.

This location was not up to the usual KOA standard. The campground was in a very undesirable area. It was very wet due to a lot of rain which I know can't be controlled and we were put in a site that was very muddy when there were other ones available with less mud. The person that escorted us to our site even remarked about the mud. I think they should have moved us at that time. Also, no cable.

The park seemed very run down. The pool was green and nasty everything looked like it had been sitting out in the weather for many years and not taken care of. The road was filled with pot holes and because it had rained some campsites were under water. They did not have a dog park so my dog and others were defecating all over the park in public areas.

I have stayed at KOA Campgrounds across the United States and it has always been my preferred place to stay. Let me start off, the people were nice. My issue revolves around the park itself. The place was not kept up at well. I understand that it had rained a few days before, however: 1. The bounce balloon was filthy and moldy. 2. The whole place was overgrown. The staff are amazing, they led me to the campsite then gave me a ride to the nearest grocery store because I was out of milk. The site was level except for a tree root which was I was able to avoid putting the jack on by backing up a few inches. (I prefer to have the tree) I gave 4 stars because of the location.- the campground was great but the surrounding area didn't feel safe enough to walk.

The campground host was unfriendly. The laundry closed at 4:30 in the afternoon, so not very convenient for us. The camp seem generally in disrepair. The location was very convenient for us. And the grandchildren enjoyed the playground.

We called the office to ask what time you closed and they said 6pm. We arrived at 5:45 and they were closed. THAT IS NOT 6. We do not feel that the park is up to KOA standards. From the last time we were here it has run down. Sites need a lot of work along with landscaping.

The park is overpriced for what they offer. The Bathrooms were clean and nice but, it rained and my Site was underwater in the morning. It wasn’t fun getting ready to leave in standing water. I wasn’t there long but, $65 was too much even with the discount. And the WiFi wouldn’t even connect. I won’t stay there again. Sorry

We thought this campground was very below standards for a KOA. The old wooden picnic table was falling apart. Behind our site looked like a junkyard. The sites were just stones and weeds. It was definitely NOT worth the over $62 it cost. Maybe $25 at best. I have photos if you are interested in seeing.

We had a great stay. The park was a bit empty but very quiet. Very close to St. Louis. We mostly spent the days in town and came back to sleep. Very relaxing time.

Decent campground. Problems being excessive speed by cars in campground and if a service is not available campers should be told at check-in. Cable was not available. Would have been nice to know up front.

Very disappointed with our stay and if we could have found another campground near us we would have left on day 1. WIFI was non existent, we saw 3 feral cats on a daily basis and on our arrival one made a home in our diesel engine compartment. I had to chase it out after we heard strange noises coming from the engine area. Extremely noisy with semi trucks and busses. Not representing KOA well.

Enroute to home after winter away All was good but the shower pressure and water direction needs to be adjusted! The young lady at check in was very nice

We have visited about 8 KOAs on long trips and most are just overnight stops, and we realize they are close to main highways so noise is to be expected. This one is no different except the occasional diesel locomotive switching engine sounding its horn. We visited in early April and the site looks due for some upkeep and maintenance. Overnight stay yes, longer I would pass.

No wifi the entire stay, need to clean their grounds would not recommend staying for more than 1 night.

We do apologize for the Wi-Fi issues. We had storms in the area for a little over a week and the majority of the town was down, which also set us back on our efforts to clean up a bit better.

Didn't have a phone number to call after hours. Had a 40 amp reserved site didn't have the paperwork in the late arrival. No way to communicate. Phone recording still said they were closed.

We are sorry to hear that. There is a phone number posted. We will make sure it is more noticeable for future customers. We also got a new phone system for the office so we were trying to figure out how to change it.

Very helpful staff. There are trains that go by periodically and blow their horns at least four times during each passing, so if you're staying in a tent bring earplugs.

I can't rate the rooms as we had our own camper. This campground had friendly staff, clean bathrooms and showers, a refreshing pool after a hot day spent outside and our kids loved the jump pad. Very close to the city but safe (don't let google maps make you think otherwise). Close to train tracks but wasn't to loud for us. We'd stay again if in the area.

Looking for a RV site close to the attractions in St Louis, found this park wasn't to sure about it after reading the previous reviews but we pulled in without a reservation. Desk crew was very helpful and was in a site in just a few minutes. Good gravel interior roads full hookups, cabins and tent sites also. Park is located in an industrial area but once you are in the park you wouldn't know it. Pool, propane, laundry closes at 6pm, clean bathrooms with showers. 10 miles from the Arch 4 miles from Chain of Rocks bridge. Like all KOAs it's a little bit pricey but definitely the best park we found close to town. Seems safe easy in and out WiFi worked great would have given 5 stars if the laundry was open later. First post is from 2024 Stayed again in 2026 WiFi is slower and laundry is now open 9-5. They have done some work on the sites that's a plus
