My first impression when we turned onto the Rios’s that brings you to the park was not a good one. The park is surrounded by all industrial parking lots of tanker trucks, school buses, etc. When you turned into the park it was neat and inviting. Staff was pleasant and the facilities clean. This is a great location for going into St. Louis for sightseeing and close to the westbound roads.

The front office couldn't figure out how to use my points, so I gave up. The escort to the site didn't even wait to see if I was good on the site before leaving without a word.

The people were very helpful and pleasant. The only complaint that we had was the mats in the shower. They have poke your feet and they hurt. So I only shower 1 day, because I couldnt stand it and I had no shower shoes. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay. Thank you

It was a good stop for a quick over night stay for us. Sites where easy to get into. Had a minor annoyance with some tree branches but nothing that did any damage. The office staff were cheerful and helpful. Its not a vacation destination but you can go see the arch if you want to brave st louis traffic lol.

The only thing nice I can say is the employees are very friendly. The facility is awful. It’s in a trashy neighborhood. Our parking space didn’t even look like a parking space. It felt like they were just stuffing us somewhere. It was just grass and it rained all weekend so it was mud hole. And we were parked right next to a backyard fence so that was our view every morning.

So much room for improvement!! The dumpiest KOA I’ve been to by far. You should be ashamed of yourselves for charging as much as you do at this place. At least spend some of that money cleaning the place up.

The location was hard to find but once we got there it was very nice and the hosts were very helpful.

Appearances.When we pulled up we could see the gardens were overgrown with grass and weeds. Walked into the building to check in, all lights out in store, it was daylight but hard to see. Desk person said the light bothered her eyes. All of the campsites are weeds & need mowed. Our site was level, was gravel, gravel on all sites have weeds. Makes it look seedy. Nice restrooms/showers. Felt safe.

Not the worst KOA I've been to, but kinda sloppy. The young woman that showed us her site was very friendly and professional, but the showers were weird. Plenty of pressure and hot water. But very poorly lit so that I missed a lot when shaving in the dark. But hey, it's camping right? I would probably stay again, but with minimal expectations.

Needs some clean up around the grounds. Lots of junky stuff sitting around. They had lots of rain in the area that created many area of puddles or soft ground in camper sites.

Fast, easy check in. Staff friendly & accommodating. Quiet area, no “road noise”. Good wifi, pool was closed. Kids park with swing. A bit dated KOA but had great stay.

we stayed 2 nights. everything was good. My wife's only complaint was that the shower stall was too small and there was not a way to get out of the way of the shower spray.

Great place to stop on our trip back to California. Made a maintenance request about a leaking hose bib at our site that was never addressed.

Very nice campground. This was my first time at a campground with a a new RV. Loved the logistics of escorting me to my site! Friendly staff and nice dog walking areas. My only negatives would be the Friday night car racing nearby was a bit disrupting to the pleasant surroundings and the train horns throughout the night. The racing did cease about 11:00 though!

The sites are level requiring no levelers. Staff was friendly and led me to the site. There is raceway very close to the park. On Sat night they had races that lasted till about 11pm...very loud We're staying there again on our way home, but it is a weekday so probably no races. The sites are long and, as I said, level so we didn't have to unhook enabling us to get back on the road easily .

Convenient stop on our trip out west. Tip- don’t use Garmin to get there- apparently Garmin routinely sends campers the wrong way and the KOA efforts to correct them have not yet been successful.

Desk clerk was curt and somewhat rude. It was just about closing time and she made it very clear. I did not feel welcome but needed a spot for the night due to storm. Bathrooms clean, however.

The KOA could have looked nicer with the trimming of trees and general grounds cleanup. The staff could have also been more outgoing and made conversation with guests while out and about.

It gets a 5 for location. The rest would only be a 2. Check-in was 2. We arrived at 3. The guy was cutting the grass on our site and the sites on either side of us. Worried about throwing rocks. Campground was far from full. We felt he should have the grass cut before our arrival. Grass was not cut under picnic table. It also had large metal meter covers under the table so we couldnt use it.

Location is close to St. Louis attractions. No issues with park or personnel.

Very helpful staff. There are trains that go by periodically and blow their horns at least four times during each passing, so if you're staying in a tent bring earplugs.

I can't rate the rooms as we had our own camper. This campground had friendly staff, clean bathrooms and showers, a refreshing pool after a hot day spent outside and our kids loved the jump pad. Very close to the city but safe (don't let google maps make you think otherwise). Close to train tracks but wasn't to loud for us. We'd stay again if in the area.

Looking for a RV site close to the attractions in St Louis, found this park wasn't to sure about it after reading the previous reviews but we pulled in without a reservation. Desk crew was very helpful and was in a site in just a few minutes. Good gravel interior roads full hookups, cabins and tent sites also. Park is located in an industrial area but once you are in the park you wouldn't know it. Pool, propane, laundry closes at 6pm, clean bathrooms with showers. 10 miles from the Arch 4 miles from Chain of Rocks bridge. Like all KOAs it's a little bit pricey but definitely the best park we found close to town. Seems safe easy in and out WiFi worked great would have given 5 stars if the laundry was open later. First post is from 2024 Stayed again in 2026 WiFi is slower and laundry is now open 9-5. They have done some work on the sites that's a plus
