Just an overnight but campground was quiet and appeared to be maintained well. Thought it was great to see directions to points of interest on the check in brochure.

Nice stop for one night and quiet. Amazing directions and list of sites to see while in town. The communication from the office was great. The areas should be mowed and more attention to detail in overall looks. I would give this KOA a 4.5 if I could.

This location is great. The staff was nice. The wifi was problematic. The site was not as well maintained as others we have been to over the past 2 months.

Pool and showers were not clean. Pool was very dirty and appeared as though it had not been maintained. Showers had a lot of liter on floor

Friendly lady at the desk. The campground is a bit run-down. The kid’s play area is surrounded by cat feces, the sites are pretty much like parking on grass, and there are no fire rings. We didn’t get a chance to swim in the pool, but it looked well kept.

No cable - load train horn three times in the night.

The campground was very convenient to the highway. It is in an industrial area. I didn't think the sites were marked very well, especially coming in at night. We had to turn around twice. When we did find our site, noticed that the people next to us were hooked up to our electric and water. We were sharing the box. Doesn't look like the KOAs that we are used to. Not very well taken care of.

Easy access from freeways, clean facilities, friendly staff. Sites were good size.

The wallpaper in the bathroom is coming off.

Nice location and amenities. Area had places to visit. I would recommend to others.

Very nice and shady quite

Employees are rude and not to helpful, almost like you owe them something. Campgrounds sit next to an all night truck station with trucks going all night. The camp sites are small, and you have to make sharp turns to get into them. If you are towing, you might have to disconnect.

Kids playground could be tidied up a bit. Trash on ground. Use a weedeater would help.

Friendly and helpful Koa host couple. Well kept and clean.

Lack of grounds maintenance and overall appearance below KOA standards. Stayed two nights, chose this KOA due to proximity of Arch during our travels. No cable/no wi-fi.all sewer hookups broken. Sticks and limbs, tall grass, mud puddles, poor drainage, again lack of maintence very evident. Two staff during check in, no signs for office entrance, which is through the game room/laundry.

I don’t think we will stay at this koa again. The manager is extremely unfriendly. We wave or say hi she just drives by without acknowledging. The grounds are a bit unkept. Needs gravel for one thing. The other owner he is very nice and friendly.

The staff is awesome from the little interaction we had. The location is convenient to St. Louis. It could be a much nicer location with attention to the grounds ie.weedy, grass in parking areas. Overall it satisfied our needs for this trip and would stay here again.

The folks here were pleasant and the grounds were sufficient but a bit ragged. Its proximity to St. Louis was very convenient. If we were going thru the area I would stay here again.

All in all not a bad place for a night's stay, but prob wouldn't select this KOA if I was staying in the St Louis area for a few days. Its located in an industrial park, though they do manage to make you feel secluded enough to forget about it. it wasn't too busy, and people were friendly and helpful, so for the night is fine. To me the location is not ideal for a longer stay.

Closest to STL city!

The KOA bathroom need repair.

The area was very busy around park. Park was nice with pool and playground. Disappointed on the dog park area, very small and garbage wasnt cleaned. Close to attractions and easy to get to.

We really enjoyed the Wi-Fi strength. Staff was very friendly. We didn’t like the fact that there was only one set of bathrooms and showers on the property. And parts of those restrooms were out of order.
Aug 02, 2022
Got there one hour early with the park being 3/4 empty and was charged $5.00 early check in fee. This is the first KOA that changed me for early check in?

Nice long parking slots, room to leave your truck hooked up.
Aug 01, 2022
dirty bathrooms and park in depressed location surrounded by industrial park. It rained a lot while we were there and the park drainage was not very good as there were puddles everywhere around our campsite. We won't select this park ever again. We have camped in the rain and the drainage is much better and not been affected.

The campground is dirty. Cats running everywhere. Grass isn’t mowed at the sites. Worst KOA I have ever stayed at.

Campground was in a business/industrial area, but surrounded by trees and quiet enough for the week we stayed. Very nice staff. The lot was level, laundry rooms and showers were decent. Convenient access to bike trails for riding in Madison County and riding over to St. Louis, MO.

Clean and quiet. We arrived after the office closed, but had no trouble finding our spot with the help of the map they left for us. Our spot was very shady, as were most of the spaces in the park. We could see two other camp grounds in the area that had zero trees so we're glad we stuck with KOA

It was a fairly clean place but the laundry area/main office smelt like sewage. It’s in a good spot close to main routes to get into the city and attractions. We had people beside us with dogs that barked non stop all day, reported it and nothing was done!! Wifi is probably the worst I’ve had at a KOA. Wouldn’t go back because because St. Louis is a dirty and unfriendly city. Worst in Americ

In a very industrial area, booked it because it was so close to St Louis, majority of their sites are buddy sites and that personally isn’t our preference. our site had garbage and a poop bag right by my door when getting out, small papers etc all over the gravel. Bathroom ceiling caving in and leaking . Place is run down and won’t be returning.

Definitely not w bad park, Bathrooms were clean and well kept, sites were decent. Kids loved the jump pad.
Jul 26, 2022
staff was nice but location very scary. it sits behind an industrial complex of lots of tanker trucks
Jul 25, 2022
The bathrooms here were filled with horrendous odors. The pool filter was definitely not running and there were layers upon layers of bugs that had drowned. 4/10 wouldn’t try again.
Jul 25, 2022
Ovrtnight stay. Someone was in the site that we where assigned. Sites are very close together.

Staff is not friendly to customers.

We arrived later in the evening. The offices were already closed. We were able to find our cabin easily. It had rained before we arrived and there was lots of standing water around the cabin. The cabin was clean. Couldn't get our tv to work. The bathrooms were clean and we checked out before anyone was at the office, so I can't really say much about the rest of the facilities.

Looking for a RV site close to the attractions in St Louis, found this park wasn't to sure about it after reading the previous reviews but we pulled in without a reservation. Desk crew was very helpful and was in a site in just a few minutes. Good gravel interior roads full hookups, cabins and tent sites also. Park is located in an industrial area but once you are in the park you wouldn't know it. Pool, propane, laundry closes at 6pm, clean bathrooms with showers. 10 miles from the Arch 4 miles from Chain of Rocks bridge. Like all KOAs it's a little bit pricey but definitely the best park we found close to town. Seems safe easy in and out WiFi worked great would have given 5 stars if the laundry was open later.
