Great Staff - easy access to campground - however - campground needs a bit of clean up/general maintenance and attention. Older campground - and at the time we were there - not well kept - has the potential to be a great campground again.....

Nice campground and polite staff. We didn’t use any amenities but they looked fine. We were there on a Saturday and there must be a speedway nearby because we did hear what we believe to be auto racing in the evening until about 10:30pm. It didn’t bother us but could be an issue for early sensitive sleepers.

Arrived at 2pm, but no one in office. Office hours are 9-11am & 3-6pm? Reservation paperwork was available, so no loss. As RV newbies, we chose KOA for consistency. Disappointed by "no patio rugs" and "no campfires" rules. Bathrooms were clean, and the pull-through site was level. This KOA is a "Journey" class, essentially a rest stop. Previous experience at a "Holiday" class KOA was much better.

Ok for an overnight stay. The park is in the middle of an industrial area. When cars are racing at the track - it is very loud until 11 pm. Upon arrival, a nice lady checked us in. There was a man at the desk with her eating very loudly and obnoxiously - very gross. Not a good representation of the park.

Nice campground but it’s located in an industrial park and dust from the gravel industrial park parking lot was drifting into the campground. Also noise from an area race track was loud and clear. Not a place for us.

Not great… Arrived to police officers taking a report of a car being keyed, and a manager yelling at an Amazon driver. Overpriced for a Journey with no amenities - they haven’t had propane for 2 seasons, cable and wi-fi were not working. Not up to the KOA standard!

It was the end of the season, and the place could have been cleaner and nicer, BUT it was in a great location for access to all the amenities like St. Louis, Chain of Rocks Bridge, Cahokia Mounds, and Great River Road!

The info in the KOA directory said they had cable but when I got there they did not have it but they still charged the same high price . If you don't have the services you claim then you should not charge as much .

We were only there overnight this time, but would definitely stay here again. Lots to do and see and a great place if you have kids! Staff was nice, too. We will return!

Never saw a single person at the campground. Our reservation paper was outside the locked store. Never saw an office or office door. Place was a bit run down but quite.

Way too expensive for what you got…site was in the back by piles of stone, very ugly, dusty. Cable didn’t work. Employees not friendly.

This is a very small property. The woman who checked us in was very kind and helpful. This is more of a pass-through KOA than one you’d stay at for any period of time. The site we had was very narrow and you opened the door and were right at the picnic table. Sitting outside we were within a foot of the neighbors hookups. Site was level and getting in and out was easy. It served our needs.

Water connections are too short, making it hard to connect. Dog waste disposal was overflowing. Entire campground was junky. Hard to sleep due to constant trains and heavy truck traffic into surrounding industrial area. WI-FI and cable has been out for weeks; we were told on day of arrival. Web site still lists it. Unfriendly staff. We will not be back.

When registering for a site it stated there was Wi-Fi and cable tv. Then later received a message that there was none due to some conflicting issues blah blah blah. Setting up was not an issue and when taking my service dog out out for relief found feces in the somewhat weed lawn. Went to put the doggie bag in the bin and it was overflowing as not cleaned up for the past two weeks if not longer.

Excellent cooperation from Manager. One in my party needed to check out early, and I had an RV repair appointment that prevented me from completing my second night. Very helpful in checking out from over the phone. We appreciate the service! Thank you.

Very convenient location. Mechanicals all good. Stayed there westbound and 10 days later eastbound. Late arrivals both times. No problems with reservations. Will continue to stop here.

Thank goodness it was just an overnight! The facilities are tired and need A LOT of TLC!! The location is sketchy and VERY close to a railway and essentially embedded in an industrial community with high traffic semi trucks. The staff would benefit significantly from customer service training! The mission, values and goals of Kampgrounds of America are sadly not evident at this campground!

Very helpful staff. There are trains that go by periodically and blow their horns at least four times during each passing, so if you're staying in a tent bring earplugs.

I can't rate the rooms as we had our own camper. This campground had friendly staff, clean bathrooms and showers, a refreshing pool after a hot day spent outside and our kids loved the jump pad. Very close to the city but safe (don't let google maps make you think otherwise). Close to train tracks but wasn't to loud for us. We'd stay again if in the area.

Looking for a RV site close to the attractions in St Louis, found this park wasn't to sure about it after reading the previous reviews but we pulled in without a reservation. Desk crew was very helpful and was in a site in just a few minutes. Good gravel interior roads full hookups, cabins and tent sites also. Park is located in an industrial area but once you are in the park you wouldn't know it. Pool, propane, laundry closes at 6pm, clean bathrooms with showers. 10 miles from the Arch 4 miles from Chain of Rocks bridge. Like all KOAs it's a little bit pricey but definitely the best park we found close to town. Seems safe easy in and out WiFi worked great would have given 5 stars if the laundry was open later. First post is from 2024 Stayed again in 2026 WiFi is slower and laundry is now open 9-5. They have done some work on the sites that's a plus
