The lot was almost level. Now for the bad. Dog park was small and full of sh*t. The people in 12D just let their dog out to sh*t in other sites and never bothered to pick it up. The entire place had a smell of septic. We were there for 1 quick overnight stay. I don’t recommend

Beautiful site with lovely old trees providing shade around the sites! The only thing we’d recommend is adding a few more signs to alert us when to turn, etc. Pretty obscure place to find & easy to miss �

You couldn't hide a campground better than this one. No signs for guidance and when you finally see one, you think you're entering a cement plant!

The park needs help. Trash everywhere, staff unavailable and lazy, cable didn’t work, cats rooming around, grass overgrown, no poop bags in the bin, water pressure horrible. Corporate KOA needs to step in.

We reserved 3 nights but the lady at the desk thought we had only reserved 1 night so she put us in the overnight area which was totally in the sun. There were plenty of spots available in the shaded area. We got all set up and then I noticed that we were the only ones in that area. Being setup etc. didnt want to take down and move again. We stayed 2 nights and left.

We had unfortunate weather during our stay with Tornado Warnings and Sirens, but the host was very accommodating and might sure everyone could shelter including the pets. Beyond this, two things slightly marred our stay. 1.) No propane for RVs (Insurance Issue). 2.) Being placed in a Buddy site with a 50 AMP Class A. Not ideal particularly for a six night stay.

The site was easy to get into and the electricity and water worked. I’ve stayed in a number of different KOA‘s and this is by far the most rundown I’ve ever seen.

Campground was nice and clean. Wi-Fi was terrible. We had a tornado come through while we were there and they had no instructions or signs of where a shelter might be. Called the emergency number on office before sirens went off to get a plan together with no call back.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. This was especially good when we had a tornado warning and helped us get ourselves and our pets sheltered in the bathrooms. The bathrooms were clean, but the roof leaked on us while we were sheltering. All the facilities were in good working order. However the place had a feeling of unkemptness. Long grass and too low tree branches.

The grounds were not attractive. Our picnic table should have been retired long ago. Playground equipment was not very clean.

After hour arrival, friendly host was able to help us with our questions about the campsite. Loved the tulips and other spring flowers. Men's showers need some work, only one of the three worked.

Not a bad place, but it needs to be cleaned up quit a bit. One thing in particular bothered me. They were flying a faded American flag. Unacceptable. The KOA flag was pretty bad also. A positive note is that the manager handled a tornado warning very well. Getting everyone into the restrooms and checking in with us often to let us know what was going on. Would I stay there again? Yes, but it coul.

Stayed one night in a cabin. Staff was not very friendly. A VERY large group was two cabins down from us and were cursing and loud well past quiet hours (midnight) and I never saw staff addressing the matter. Disappointing. Playground is in a sorry state as well. Dirty and overgrown.

Pro-nice staff, level sites. Cons-the park is dilapidated, sites are narrow and need gravel, playground needs power washing, it looks poorly maintained. I know it just reopened and hopefully it will look better soon It is extremely noisy here due to trains, Granite City school bus depot next door, beeping trucks behind, I suggest, when not crowded, leave a site between rigs for more privacy.

It was okay for a quick overnight. Staff seemed less than interested and the grounds could use a bit of attention. Sites are extremely close together.

We are KOA fans but were disappointed with this stay. The grass was long (but cut while we were there), garbage (broken bucket, wood) on the backside of the caretakers house, tipped over garbage can in the corner with debris, fenced in area in disarray with part of a tarp over it, jumping mat was in serious need of being pressure washed, a pack of feral cats running around.

Park was overgrown and in need of repair. The water in the shower never got hot. K-9 Kamp was overgrown and stunk. Very poor performance from a KOA.

Desk staff were welcoming at checkin but the facility needs a lot of work. For example. The women's shower didn't drain so we were standing in old shower water and the ceiling was falling apart from water damage. There was a lot of trash, old building materials etc around the keeper's residence which was unpleasant. The whole place needs a good cleanup and some renovation and could be much nicer.

Great, clean facility & bathrooms, Amanda was great! Water in the shower was lukewarm but otherwise a great oasis and would stay here again if passing through!

The road to the grounds is in between a business that has hazardous containers then As soon as we pulled in you see the KOA office then to the left of it was a mobile home that was that has been abandoned, fiberglass insulation and junk laying on the ground looked liked a junk yard! Trailer next to us playing loud music. they Immediately said no refunds when I made the

The campground is in an industrial area, and parts of the campground could use some debris removal and cleanup, but the restrooms were clean and the site we had was very level, and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

the campgrounds looked like a war zone. Office building area was terrible. Cable TV hookup didn't work.

Arrived 2:30 number 4 in line. Waited and waited. No movement. Went to the office door and it said 9-11 and 3-5. I had a text saying check in at 2. Number one RV in line had the same text and they had been there waiting since 1:30. A woman finally showed up around 3:30 and checked us call in. Not a KOA any level campground.

Very run down. Text we received stated 2pm check-in time. Got in line with several other RVs shortly after 2. Waited until 3:15 before some one showed up. Looking back at emails showed 3pm check-in time. Very unlike any other RV park experience. Won’t be back.

The park is remodeling so it was a bit torn up. There was no hot water in the showers or laundry area. It was raining and there where huge puddles around the park to include pad sites. Which made for a messy, muddy hook up. I recommend you call and inquire if the remodeling is done prior to making a reservation.

Comfortable sites. All sites are buddy sites so you face the neighbors door. Met some very nice people. Trees are well taken care of a sites are level.We were in an RV with tow.

Very disappointed in the stay here. We booked a reservation ahead of time and informed them we’d be arriving late, yet no reservation was left for us. The area also didn’t feel very safe, especially with two little kids. And a lot was under construction as well. Overall, not a great stay.

Looking for a RV site close to the attractions in St Louis, found this park wasn't to sure about it after reading the previous reviews but we pulled in without a reservation. Desk crew was very helpful and was in a site in just a few minutes. Good gravel interior roads full hookups, cabins and tent sites also. Park is located in an industrial area but once you are in the park you wouldn't know it. Pool, propane, laundry closes at 6pm, clean bathrooms with showers. 10 miles from the Arch 4 miles from Chain of Rocks bridge. Like all KOAs it's a little bit pricey but definitely the best park we found close to town. Seems safe easy in and out WiFi worked great would have given 5 stars if the laundry was open later.
