There are only 2 things that I can think of that made me give you 4 stars and not 5 stars: 1). The spot that I was in had the water hose hook up was in a round black plastic big tube that was inset in the ground, (which had some water in it instead of the water water faucet being mounted on a pole.

We had a really nice time - the campground was clean, small, quiet. Minutes from the village & beach area. Will definitely come back!!

I stayed on site 83, it is labeled as lake view which you can see in certain spots but trees/brush make it difficult for full view. Sites are close together but I had such great neighbors and gave the opportunity to socialize. Staff were extremely helpful, guided me to my site and helped my back in. I hope to see more campground activities and maybe even a pool in the future!! I will be back!

Campground staff were very friendly! Sites by the water were pretty, but very narrow. The site we had (89) had a large sunken area, likely from a tree being removed. Unfortunately it was directly next to the concrete and had to be walked through to get to the firepit area/back. This campground is on the smaller side & does not have the amenities of other KOA’s. Regardless, we had a nice stay!

I know that you are a new KOA and you will be making upgrades in the future. I love the area and we will definitely return to see what type of upgrades you have made.

This is an older camground with an interesting history. Nice trees throughout. Some sites in the rear have a beautiful view of the lake. The people were very friendly and helpful.

This is a small campground situated on a bluff overlooking Lake Ontario. There isn't really anything to do at this campground other than relax. There is a swing set but no playground or pool. You can't access the lake due to the bluff. Sites are small and close. However, having said all that we enjoyed the peace and relaxation. Sodus Point is just down the road and offers several restaurants.

Very good as KOA Place in 2024. The location right on the lake is great. If the place is further developed, e.g. pool, bike rental... then it will be a real KOA.

Our Campsite was nice, the KOA employees were very friendly, the place looks to be an old trailer park. I would suggest setting some common space that all the campers can view the lake,

Liked the stay. Very quiet, easy to get to places we wanted to go. Clean and staff was very friendly. Two suggestions; they could use a pool and it would be nice to have an open area overlooking the bluff to enjoy the sunsets or just watch the lake. I will come back again when I am in the area.

As a senior citizen we liked that there were no kid activities there for quiet and calm unlike many KOA’s that are family friendly. The camp grounds were very well maintained and the site we had on the bluff was awesome. Sodus KOA allowed us to come in early due to the tornado watch in affect so we were tucked in safely and spent an hour at the restroom due to weather. We would definitely return

We camped here in July, over the July 4th holiday. This is a nice campground that offered some views of Lake Ontario. Site was level and clean, but the picnic table was warped pretty badly. However, this is a new KOA and they are making many improvements. Camp hosts are very friendly and helpful. Despite the Independence Day festivities, it was pretty peaceful there. Nice KOA!

Paid extra for lake front/ view only to have a site between my trailer and said lakefront/view. The view was completely blocked by overgrown vegetation. There were sites that fit the description available during our stay, so it felt deceptive.

The scenery is beautiful! Some of the spots are close together, but we had one that didn’t face another site. Even when the campground was full, it was quiet and relaxing. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, this is a great campground and our experience was wonderful!

Really friendly staff. Very quiet. Our site had a great view of the lake. Level sites with concrete pads keep the mud down. All in all it's a nice campsite. Only negatives are they really pack you in on the water sites, and the price is pretty steep for the space you get but those water front sites are expensive everywhere. Would be nice to have a bit more space from the neighbors sewer hose.

New KOA so lacking some of the amenities of an established KOA. The campground was very clean, owners very friendly and a beautiful view of Lake Ontario from some of the sites. There is no lake access at campground but public beach’s about a mile away. Great restaurants in Sodus Point only a mile down the road.

The campground was nice. Some positives were the view was nice from our site. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the bathrooms were clean. Some cons were, all the camping spots are on top of each other. The neighbors sewer line was 3 feet from our patio. Some improvements could be to trim the shrubbery on the lake sites to give some better views.

There wasn’t any playground, but I was charged for my 7 and 12 years. Not good location for family with smaller kids.

Our 4 sites were very open and spacious compared to most of the other sites. The bathroom and shower were both very clean. It would help to add a bench in the shower area instead of the shelf outside the shower stall, which is too high. Aaron was very helpful getting us to our sites. I did not go inside so I don't know who checked us in. It didn't take long so this person was also efficient. THKS

We paid for a lake view to be staring at trees all weekend that completely blocked the view. The fire pit was not able to be used as it was on a hill. Sites are so close together that you can barely open your awning. Absolutely nothing for families to do, not even a playground for kids.

I really enjoyed the location and cabin! I know this is a new KOA so things are still being worked out, but a few suggestions I would make are getting rid of the paper blinds & keeping a few K-cups, cream, and sugar in the cabin almost like a hotel would have. A lot of people (myself included) don't want to buy K-cups just for a night or 2 if they don't have a Keurig. Thank you for a great stay!

Campground was very Clean, caretakers were very pleasant. Bathrooms were excellent. I just wish you had a pool. Overall excellent campground.

Loved our site overlooking the lake! Props and huge thanks to the staff that helped back us in; it would have taken me forever, lol. Fire pit was in an awkward spot given the deck, but otherwise perfect. Facilities were clean, dog park serviceable as well. Very close to Sodus Point. We will be back I am sure.
