We have been with South Shore RV - Sodus Point/Lake Ontario KOA for 15 years now, and we are just as happy there now as we have always been. The campground is the perfect atmosphere for us...not too noisy but not too quiet, either. The grounds are kept niccely and the bath house is always immaculate. We look forward to the improvements that are coming and to our next camping season.

We just closed out our 3rd season there! We love the quiet, small, & beautiful sunset views of Lake Ontario! There is a wonderful Bath House that is very clean! 2024 was the 1st season as a KOA! Looking forward to 2025 season to see what comes next!

We were able to get a beautiful lakeside(cliff) site and caught a couple sunny fall days. The grounds were well kept and bath house was very clean. The sites were on the small side but knowing that Journey KOAs are more about having a short stay in the midst of a longer trip made that understandable.

The staff was wonderful and the facilities were exceptionally clean, but the campground itself left a lot to be desired. The was no lake access, yet we were right on the lake. The dog park was very tiny and right on the road. There were no trails, nowhere to walk and four swings with vehicles parked in front of them the entire weekend. It was not our kind of campground. Needs an overlook area.

Lovely location. Nice mature trees for shade. Level and easy to get into spaces for my RV.

Only 1 mens toilet. Not enough for an entire campground. Otherwise lovely spot, clean, friendly great view.

Nice level concrete pad to park on. Quiet, well maintained. Clean bathrooms. K-9 park needs a bench. No cable tv. Great farmers market across street. Beautiful view of Lake Ontario! Well worth the trip.

This is the quietist campground we have ever camped. everything was in very good condition. Staff is very friendly. just wish there was more attractions closer to the site.

The view was stunning! The grounds were nice and the restrooms so clean! The campground itself is so small, and the sites are way too close together. We couldn't have a private campfire because we could hear everyone else's conversations. Cutting down some of the brush on the waterfront sites would do wonders. Not enough extra parking either. I'm not sure we'll return.

Robert was very nice and helpful. View was amazing. Sites are too close for our liking . When u can hear your neighbor burp it’s too tight. Very clean. The one guy at the end of our stay copped an attitude when I asked if he could take garbage to dumpster , he said I’ll take it because your leaving but wouldn’t otherwise. Seemed annoyed. Overall good stay.

This is a well kept KOA. The staff go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. They even Guide you into your spot.. we will be back.

Love the new dog park. Wish it was larger. It’s crowded when many dogs in there and dogs can’t run and exercise well in the small space. Grounds are well kept.

We love KOA's and have stayed at many- Sodus Point is a tricky KOA. It is very small and the sites are not set up for any kind of privacy. We have never stayed where you are practically on top of your neighbors when you at your fire pit. We did leave two days early but were never asked why. Not a very good experience.

Site was great but very tight and close to other Rvs. You need to be very very careful backing in. The cliff was a concern, especially for little kids - consider a fence. One person told us the cliff is eroding one foot annually, if that’s true, you are going to have issues in less than 5 years. The seasonal sites need to be cleaned up - they took away from the ambiance of the rest of the others

I was very disappointed.. this being a KOA there was nothing going on . Very very quiet, very small Swingset for the kids I was disappointed in the site with the understanding that we were backing up to the lake. The view was awesome, but there was a severe drop off that was not young child. Friendly campsite was clean and maintained, but was not your typical KOA.

We love this KOA! We had never heard of Sodus Point, NY - and what a miss that was. We planned a longer trip with this being our final destination before heading home. We booked a lakefront site and enjoyed every second of our stay. Incredibly hands on, friendly and accommodating staff made sure we had all we needed during our stay. This is a spot we will be sure to return to many times! Site #89

Amazing views of Lake Ontario. The restrooms were very clean and the water pressure was perfect at the site and in the shower. Staff was excellent and very helpful, especially the park manager. I loved the size of the park, not too large.

Small, well maintained campground. Not much for amenities, but for this trip it was perfect. Close proximity to Sodus Point. WI-FI was solid. Friendly staff.

This being a new KOA, the owners were great! This campground was nearly full, and it was the quietest campground we ever been to. The view of the lake was very easy to see. Yes, there is some brush growing around the area, but I can see that the owners are working on it. Most of the sites have a flat concrete pad that was level. I think in time there will added improvements to the campground.

This was a new KOA, still developing its presence. Very nice placement, clean facilities, very pleasant caring and helpful staff. Site had fire ring and a cement pad where we were located.

Cute KOA that is growing exponentially and it is so cool to see!!! Although you aren’t far from anything (wine, box stores, good food, cheese, water, fishing, beach, etc.) it is so quiet and you feel removed in the best of ways. Sunsets are amazing. Hosts are fantastic. We can’t wait to camp here again. I mean where else can you walk out your door to 180 views of gorgeous lake!!

Very clean facilities. Friendly hosts. The sites overlooking the lake are very nice. The sites in the middle of the campground are congested. Great location, near beach, lighthouse, bluffs, wineries with a couple of great farm stands close by.

Loved our site overlooking the lake! Props and huge thanks to the staff that helped back us in; it would have taken me forever, lol. Fire pit was in an awkward spot given the deck, but otherwise perfect. Facilities were clean, dog park serviceable as well. Very close to Sodus Point. We will be back I am sure.

We love this KOA! We had never heard of Sodus Point, NY - and what a miss that was. We planned a longer trip with this being our final destination before heading home. We booked a lakefront site (Site #89) and enjoyed every second of our stay. Incredibly hands on, friendly and accommodating staff made sure we had all we needed during our stay. This year is their first full season as a KOA. They are making a ton of major improvements to this campo and the efforts are already showing. This is a spot we will be sure to return to many times!

Clean, friendly, quiet, peaceful and scenic are some of the attributes of this KOA. We love the scenic views of Lake Ontario right from our travel trailer but the best thing about this KOA are the people running it. They really go above and beyond to keep this place as nice as it is.
