The camp grounds were well maintained, clean & quiet ! We enjoyed the friendly staff and the quiet atmosphere ! Getting into our site, #34, with our camper was a bit of a challenge, but the camp staff was very helpful. Next time I will be sure to ask for a larger site. The 'community viewing area' by the lake shore was a great idea, but too many trees on the bank made the view very limited.

We loved this campground! It is a small campground. Sites are close together. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Campers around us were respectful and curtious. Town of Sodus Bay is 2 miles from the campground. It is walkable if you don't mind walking along the road. For being a Journey KOA it is pricey. But, we had a gorgeous view of the lake. So, I guess that justifies the cost.

We had a great stay. The hosts were some of the best we have ever had. The grounds and bathrooms were maintained at the highest of rates.

Our chosen site was switched on us with no notice. Put us in a spot that was too busy for camping with our pets. Otherwise the campgrounds is nice, and people are friendly. The problem seemed to be in the online app.

People working there were friendly. But our site which was supposed to have a few of the lake was obscured by trees ( have pics) we could see the lake if we peered over the neighbors chairs..awkward as they already had their group of friends. No amenities. Mostly seasonal.way over priced

Had a wonderful time. Friendly staff helped us back our RV into a lakefront site. These sites are a little pricey but as they say in real estate, location, location, location. A beautiful view of Lake Erie. The breeze off the lake was wonderful. We do have dogs and I was a little bothered by the additional fee for two of our dogs, but we would still come back as it was a very nice campground.

All was good. Sites were close together. Our AC unit kept tripping the breaker on the pole on site 86 but after a while it stayed on. Maybe a problem when it was very hot and people were running AC. Otherwise it was a nice stay. Jarad was very helpful.

Stayed 2 nights at the front row - campsite - no complaints except initially forgot wood order prior to arriving 9/10 that stay. Later in the week came back another front row campsite- most expensive. Was given a very small site with zero privacy although 2 other front row sites vacant much larger. No wood at site again. Should treat returning customers better!!

Very peaceful location. Beautiful sunset views. Level concrete pads. Love the full hookups. Nice little farmers market across the street with live music on the weekends. The price per night is a little steep considering there aren't any activities such as a rec center or swimming pool. Just camping. If you want a particular site, you need to pay an additional $25. I enjoyed the weekend very much!

Very peaceful, quiet campground which was exactly what we were looking for. Office space not stayed open until 5pm which wasn’t a problem per se but may be for others. Would have liked a pool on the grounds.

From sunrise to sunset, lakefront view is the only way to stay and play! It’s a very small campground. We are not warm and fuzzy that a KOA has taken over and increase the fees per site $ They may think about this, especially for people who have been returning and watch this happen! Very small Campground but very close to sodas point and all that it has to offer.

This is a very, very well run camp. The staff is friendly and helpful. The bath and toilet facilities were spotless. It is very quiet and in a beautiful setting. We enjoy camps that are peaceful, calm and relaxing. If you’re looking for entertainment, seek out a Holiday. We prefer Journeys and place Sodus Point along with Lancaster, PA as our favorite KOA facilities.

After checking in and hooking up our campsite. I spent two hours trying to figure out why my camper had no power and it turned out that the power box at my campsite wasn’t turned on. This caused a lot of anguish and turmoil trying to figure out what was wrong with the camper when there was nothing wrong with it. Just the box was shut off. The men’s room, shower and bathroom need a lighting fix

We were very comfortable at the campground, the sit was spacious and level...clean bathroom/showers....new laundry facility...beautiful view of the lake....not many amenities, but we don't need much

Camp site was too small had a camper 15 feet to the side of me. Showers didn't work. A high cliff bank that is aroding into the camp site from lake Ontario that falls to the water approximately 100 ft with no fencing. Would not recommend a young child or a pet being on that site.

Robert is so nice and friendly. We are first time RVer so he taught us a lot on setup and maintenance. He works very hard and always takes care of property.

It was cold but that’s not their fault…. We were greeted and taken to our site quickly, our wood was delivered right away. The wood was a little wet but we got a fire going eventually on the first night but we couldn’t get a fire start the second night but, it has been a very wet spring so I don’t know is it could have been helped

Feel like we’re being watched and it’s uncomfortable. There was a camera right across from our site and constant workers passing by staring at us. There’s nothing to do for kids and it was quite small.

Loved our site overlooking the lake! Props and huge thanks to the staff that helped back us in; it would have taken me forever, lol. Fire pit was in an awkward spot given the deck, but otherwise perfect. Facilities were clean, dog park serviceable as well. Very close to Sodus Point. We will be back I am sure.
