The staff was super friendly and helpful. We stay here at least once a year on our journey from Florida to Oklahoma. Things are always ship shape. On this stay however, the bathrooms were in bad shape. Black mold in the showers. Dirty sinks and overflowing trash cans. The men's was the dirtier of the two. We noticed some projects going on, perhaps the manpower is stretched thin. We'll return.

It was close to the highway but far enough away the traffic wasn't bothersome. It was nice, quiet, and clean. WiFi was spotty but it was great for the one night we stayed. I would stay there again if I was passing through.

The only thing I have an issue with is people should not have permanent residence at a koa. It should be for people traveling or relaxing for the weekend.

Only stayed 1 night, men's shower was small, our camper shower is larger. Area was quite and enjoyable

Have stopped here many times returning from trips and they have a friendly, helpful staff and great level sites. They do get busy so make reservations ahead of time.

After going to a very disappointing campground we were pleasantly surprised when we pulled into the KOA. Our site was so well cared for with a porch like swing. Laundry room was great. Very clean and well kept. Staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Very friendly staff, nice sites for a big rig. Had issue with laundry facility. Washer would not rinse and spin.

The sites are a little tight to exit the park and narrow sites when putting out slides It was a good place to stay for a night Staff polite and friendly

Initially no water service when arrived due to leak in progress of repair. Restored sometime prior to departure the following morning.

No water the whole first 24 hours; not informed about it or when it would be back on

Major ruts on both sides of cement pad, even the gravel sites had people getting stuck and had to use 4 wheel drive. The weather conditions were sunny and warm. My cement site was not level, patio furniture needed paint, had no water in the morning because of the water system broke.

Need more pavement or rock throughout the park to “get us out of the mud!” Very clean facilities and a very nice staff though!!!

Too many permanents not made to take of their sites. Beer cans tossed in their yards, food in the roadway, weeds and grass growing by their campers, abandoned vehicles by sites in the back. This is a poor excuse for a KOA.

The water there was really bad

As always it is a treat to pull in after a long drive. The park is so pretty and well maintained. I travel alone and feel safe and the staff supportive. The gift shop is so much fun, I always find good stuff!

Nice people working there. Very helpful.

Served it purpose as a place to sleep. Site was small, muddy and was. It cleaned prior to our arrival at 430 PM. Cigarette butts on the table, mud and dirt in the concrete pad. The staff in the office was apologetic and nice but this is one of the KOA’s we would not return to. We have stayed at over 50 KOAs across the country and this is in the bottom 5. We would not return.

Very nice people and grounds were well matained

Roads are in desperate need of repair of potholes. Potholes can be bad for all motorhomes. Electrical 50 amp plug at site was burned/damaged!

Friendly staff and nice pull through sites. Asphalt camp roads are nicer to walk dog than crushed stones at many KOAs.

Great backend spot. Didn't have to unhook the trailer. Got up in the morning. Jumped in the driver seat. Pulled it into gear and nothing happened so they give me time to jack it up and fix it. Linkage fell off the transmission shift lever AFD another fun day!.

We stayed one night at the Shreveport, Bossier City KOA, and it was a mixed experience. The big plus was the staff – every encounter we had, they were helpful, courteous, respectful, you couldn't ask for better. Apart from that, it was just an OK experience. The weather didn't help—there was a lot of rain and standing water, which made the area around our site quite muddy. Our site had a cement pad for the RV, though it wasn't perfectly level, but it wasn't too far off. There are a lot of RV sites at this park, located in a relatively small area. We are in a Class A motorhome and pulling a GMC Canyon. Navigating the trails back to our site was a chore. When we arrived, the 50-amp service at our site wasn't working, and it turned out that the 50-amp breaker was bad. The maintenance team was working on a nearby site with the same issue, so both needed repairs. We were without power for about 45 minutes, but after that, everything was fine. As a Journey KOA, we didn't have high expectations for amenities, and the campground reflected that. It seemed like many of the sites were occupied by full-timers. To add to that, there were quite a few old, rundown RVs and trailers scattered around—many of which appeared to be uninhabitable by our standards. For a quick overnight stop on a long road trip, this KOA worked fine. The location was perfect, and it met the basic standards we expect from KOA, but it didn't offer much more. We would consider staying here again if we're passing through, but it wouldn't be our first choice if we were looking for a more comfortable or scenic stop.
