Good spot for visiting the city. The park itself is nothing fancy. Safe and convenient, no thrills. Front spots are like a glorified parking lot. The rear spots are similar but about the same. Could be a tricky stay for those not comfortable with their rigs, especially if they are very long. Will likely stay again, but will take a peak for another option.

There was confusion as to our campsite. Someone was placed in the site assigned to us, so we were placed in a permanent site which was fine. The staff did give us a discount for the inconvenience.

we were just there for an overnight stay but we had a nice long site which allowed us to not unhook. So it was easy in and easy out. The grounds were very pretty and the staff friendly and helpful.

Pleasant staff, clean and pleasant campground, level campsites, good bathrooms. Not as noisy as a lot of campgrounds; but still conveniently close to a Walmart (0.6 miles). Very nice. Thank you!

Awesome park, peaceful, easy to find, large fenced dog run, swimming pool. Nice laundry facilities, good water pressure and large pull through spots.

I don't give five stars on anything because nothing is perfect. We stay here periodically and are pleased with the campground. Staff is always polite and helpful. There are a some long-term eyesore campers that do take away from the overall look and feel of the campground, but it isn't enough to stop us from continuing to stay there. Bath houses and restrooms are kept very clean.

Good, level site, but no trees to speak of. Rather warm in summer time, and water pressure was very low entire stay. Still nice place to stay in Shreveport area.

We felt the sites were small, it barely fit our camper and truck. They were extremely close and the drive is tight. We were there two nights. We did not notice any highway noise, although Friday night football must have been close. The band and announcers were fairly loud. Park location was convenient for our needs.

We were disappointed. It felt like we were staying in a trailer park instead of a camping park. Long term equipment covered up in tarps. The host checking is in made us feel like we were a number instead of a guest. She was dressed sloppy instead of KOA proud. I had in visioned a totally different experience. I had Hoped to start using KOAs not sure now

This is a lovely place to stay. Very nice shaded sites. Great place for our pup. My one suggestion is for the hosts to place a security code on restrooms. Someone made a terrible mess in the ladies shower. Left dirty clothes and a towel and a mess. I didn’t feel safe showering after dark.

Make bathroom was GROSS. Strong smell of urine, counter tops dirty, two sinks full of hair from some inconsiderate males trimming their beards, I flushed commodes. Just plain Nasty!!

Campground is very comfortable with friendly staff. Our only issue was with the dog park. It seems either people who go through or those who stay long term do not clean up after their pets & we would not let our dogs go into either of them. Even the dog walk area behind the pond is littered with dog waste. Seriously disrespectful of others.

Girl in the office was very friendly and enjoyed talking to her very much. The pool was nice and clean and enjoyed our swim. Showers could use a little more attention in the grout areas but overall, our stay was enjoyable.

Very nice Journey destination BUT as I stated after my last stay, it needs some love. Great people but need some attention. Instead of 4 trashed RVs near the dog park there are 3. 1 now has slides out and a for sale sign. Need to update the typical KOA signs. Most are wear and tear from the sun. Signage review is warranted. People from Hardin MT should show them how to turn around a KOA.

Stayed in deluxe cabin. Had a problem with roaches. Not the big ones that come in from outside, but the little ones that have hatched inside.

The staff was very pleasant but the sites were horrible and so is the location. We have stayed a4-5 koas and all were disappointing with the exception of 1. The key west location. I think we are done with koa. Too much dirt, gravel, dust and off road locations.

We arrived after a very stressful travel day. We booked a pull-thru but the site was very unlevel--the front tires of our motorhome were 3 inches off the ground after leveling, so we had to unhook our toad & back up to get level. Husband was NOT happy. Tons of children, seems many campers keep their RVs there & camp on the weekends. Pool crowded with kids. Good stop for an overnight.

Great backend spot. Didn't have to unhook the trailer. Got up in the morning. Jumped in the driver seat. Pulled it into gear and nothing happened so they give me time to jack it up and fix it. Linkage fell off the transmission shift lever AFD another fun day!.

We stayed one night at the Shreveport, Bossier City KOA, and it was a mixed experience. The big plus was the staff – every encounter we had, they were helpful, courteous, respectful, you couldn't ask for better. Apart from that, it was just an OK experience. The weather didn't help—there was a lot of rain and standing water, which made the area around our site quite muddy. Our site had a cement pad for the RV, though it wasn't perfectly level, but it wasn't too far off. There are a lot of RV sites at this park, located in a relatively small area. We are in a Class A motorhome and pulling a GMC Canyon. Navigating the trails back to our site was a chore. When we arrived, the 50-amp service at our site wasn't working, and it turned out that the 50-amp breaker was bad. The maintenance team was working on a nearby site with the same issue, so both needed repairs. We were without power for about 45 minutes, but after that, everything was fine. As a Journey KOA, we didn't have high expectations for amenities, and the campground reflected that. It seemed like many of the sites were occupied by full-timers. To add to that, there were quite a few old, rundown RVs and trailers scattered around—many of which appeared to be uninhabitable by our standards. For a quick overnight stop on a long road trip, this KOA worked fine. The location was perfect, and it met the basic standards we expect from KOA, but it didn't offer much more. We would consider staying here again if we're passing through, but it wouldn't be our first choice if we were looking for a more comfortable or scenic stop.
