Kind staff, nice dog park and heat in clean restrooms! A little expensive for a KOA Journey on the outskirts of town during the winter months, but met our need for a stop off on a longer trip.

Please look at placing gravel around the concrete sites, as there are some deep ruts on the sides of the concrete pads. We did have to back up and realign on the site (38) after we scraped the side of our front tire. This could have been avoided if we has been guided to the spot. Yes the office was open and a person was available to help us to the spot at the time of check in.

I enjoyed this KOA so much I stayed here twice! Going to Florida and coming back. My pugs enjoyed the spacious walk areas and the view from the top of the hill was stunning! Woot Woot, I hope to be back again soon!

This is our third stay here. Nice park. Easy in and out. The pull through for overnighters is great. We don’t need to disconnect our tow vehicle unless we wish to. We will be back.

Bathroom were dirty. No paper towels and very little toilet tissue. The cabin smelled like it was mopped with dirty water.

Nice large dog park with a variety of agility course to keep our dogs entertained. It has been a while since we seen such a well taken care of dog park. The sites are mostly pull through nice long sites. Very level we had no issues setting up. Nice restaurants in the area that the staff suggested and some minor site seeing but overall a nice overnight camping spot.

Check in was great very nice and friendly. Please clean the mold from shower floor. Also would be nice if shower stall had a small bench to sit on when dressing. We would definitely stay here again.

Sewer connections for adjacent sites are located a few feet from sitting area/tables with no restrictions on leaving sewer hoses properly in place. Trashy trailers/sites been that way for years, terrible drainage

The lock on the women's bathroom/shower door was broken which was alarming. It looked like it had been forced. The showers were gross and I don't think the bathrooms were cleaned the whole time I was there. There was nothing to set toiletries on in the shower...only a dirty floor. The campground is pretty and the staff was pleasant.

I am very pleased with the privacy of the primitive camping behind the pond. However, the bathroom needs some attention. The water pressure at the sinks makes it hard to do anything. It barely trickles. There are lots of long term industrial workers that stay there. The bathroom and shower area is very messy in the morning. So much that I wouldn’t use it. Definitely needs an update.

Short 1 night stay. Laundry wasn't 24/7 as posted on signs and website. Other than that, it was a great location and nice facility.

The sites were long, but narrow. It was tricky getting our 44 ft 5th wheel on the paved pad, and getting level. It appeared that 90% of the trailers are there full time, so it was looking a little trashy. The street noise was loud as there's no sound barrier up.

Not a bad location. Right off the interstate but far enough away to not hear the traffic. Cute little park but the bathrooms had some black mold in the showers and definitely could use some cleaning. Lady at the front desk was really sweet and check in was super easy!

Convenient access to/from I-20, some good some poor pull-through patio sites at rear of campground - site 103 very tight to enter with toad, services located too far to the rear of the site and very little space to adjacent site 102

Disappointed. Bathroom dirty. Showers had no bench for clean items, one flimsy hook, Moldy shower curtain not low enough so things got very wet/dirty on floor. Laundry room dirty. Not enough cement walkways, so often had to walk in wet grass to get to bathrooms. (Rained hard during stay). Not our best stay. On the positive side—person checking us in was very pleasant, friendly.

Beautiful park on a lake. Great views from every site. Paved roads, concrete pads. Nice patios. Friendly staff. Very well kept. Clean. We only stayed one night passing thru but would stay longer next time. Highly recommend.

Great backend spot. Didn't have to unhook the trailer. Got up in the morning. Jumped in the driver seat. Pulled it into gear and nothing happened so they give me time to jack it up and fix it. Linkage fell off the transmission shift lever AFD another fun day!.

We stayed one night at the Shreveport, Bossier City KOA, and it was a mixed experience. The big plus was the staff – every encounter we had, they were helpful, courteous, respectful, you couldn't ask for better. Apart from that, it was just an OK experience. The weather didn't help—there was a lot of rain and standing water, which made the area around our site quite muddy. Our site had a cement pad for the RV, though it wasn't perfectly level, but it wasn't too far off. There are a lot of RV sites at this park, located in a relatively small area. We are in a Class A motorhome and pulling a GMC Canyon. Navigating the trails back to our site was a chore. When we arrived, the 50-amp service at our site wasn't working, and it turned out that the 50-amp breaker was bad. The maintenance team was working on a nearby site with the same issue, so both needed repairs. We were without power for about 45 minutes, but after that, everything was fine. As a Journey KOA, we didn't have high expectations for amenities, and the campground reflected that. It seemed like many of the sites were occupied by full-timers. To add to that, there were quite a few old, rundown RVs and trailers scattered around—many of which appeared to be uninhabitable by our standards. For a quick overnight stop on a long road trip, this KOA worked fine. The location was perfect, and it met the basic standards we expect from KOA, but it didn't offer much more. We would consider staying here again if we're passing through, but it wouldn't be our first choice if we were looking for a more comfortable or scenic stop.
