Served it purpose as a place to sleep. Site was small, muddy and was. It cleaned prior to our arrival at 430 PM. Cigarette butts on the table, mud and dirt in the concrete pad. The staff in the office was apologetic and nice but this is one of the KOA’s we would not return to. We have stayed at over 50 KOAs across the country and this is in the bottom 5. We would not return.

Very nice people and grounds were well matained

Roads are in desperate need of repair of potholes. Potholes can be bad for all motorhomes. Electrical 50 amp plug at site was burned/damaged!

Always Great at the Shreveport KOA!

The only thing I would say is a little soap for the kitchen sink and a few paper towels would have made it really nice!

This our second stay at this KOA. Staff are friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean.

Friendly staff and nice pull through sites. Asphalt camp roads are nicer to walk dog than crushed stones at many KOAs.

We stayed one night at the Shreveport, Bossier City KOA, and it was a mixed experience. The big plus was the staff – every encounter we had, they were helpful, courteous, respectful, you couldn’t ask for better. Apart from that, it was just an OK experience. The weather didn’t help—there was a lot of rain and standing water, which made the area around our site quite muddy

It was just overnight, and I got there later than I was expecting to, but they were very accommodating, gave me a spot that was very convenient to the facilities, since I had not unwinterized yet. Thank You! My little Corgi LOVED the dog park <3

Young lady at check in was very personable, polite, and helpful. RV site was in good working condition. Bathrooms very clean and functional.

We only stay overnight going cross country. Seems like a very nice campground but the bathrooms are a big disappointment

Nice easy pull through lots. Easy to access from the highway. Gravel lots but spacious and level.

really narrow roads and hard to get into the site... some trashey permanents... otherwise good for a stopover

I liked the campground! The park was kept clean, bathrooms are very nice. The women's showers needed some attention. If you needed anything at the store, it was a hit or miss if the door was locked to gain entry at any given time of the day. The dog park area needed some cleaning up as the patrons apparently felt they didn't need to cleanup after their pets. Shame!

Nice, quiet CG with helpful staff. Good for an overnight or a couple days exploring the area.

The water pressure kept going in and out and at one point we had no water. Also when I went to unhook and pack up a large ant hill was formed around the water shutoff and ants where all over my water hose and sewer lines

Ideal location off the highway. Friendly staff. Park definitely needs updating and a good clean up.

The overall maintenance of the grounds needs attention.

Nice camp sites, we were on the backside of the campground so road noise wasn’t that noticeable. The dog park is awesome, very large and extremely well lit at night! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location is very convenient to car washes, shopping , fuel and restaurants. Would definitely stay again during travels

i had a wonderful time at Shreveport/Bossier city KOA, The cabin was so clean and cozy, and it actually looked like a cabin not just a tiny building, They are very pet friendly and the staff was so wonderful and friendly and helpful. I have stayed there twice now and plan to visit many more times.

Excellent reception by staff, both of whom provided many great ideas for seeing Shreveport. The park is nestled within beautiful forest and was reasonably quiet was very well kept. Special mention for Charity, who was very welcoming and helpful.

Great backend spot. Didn't have to unhook the trailer. Got up in the morning. Jumped in the driver seat. Pulled it into gear and nothing happened so they give me time to jack it up and fix it. Linkage fell off the transmission shift lever AFD another fun day!.

We stayed one night at the Shreveport, Bossier City KOA, and it was a mixed experience. The big plus was the staff – every encounter we had, they were helpful, courteous, respectful, you couldn't ask for better. Apart from that, it was just an OK experience. The weather didn't help—there was a lot of rain and standing water, which made the area around our site quite muddy. Our site had a cement pad for the RV, though it wasn't perfectly level, but it wasn't too far off. There are a lot of RV sites at this park, located in a relatively small area. We are in a Class A motorhome and pulling a GMC Canyon. Navigating the trails back to our site was a chore. When we arrived, the 50-amp service at our site wasn't working, and it turned out that the 50-amp breaker was bad. The maintenance team was working on a nearby site with the same issue, so both needed repairs. We were without power for about 45 minutes, but after that, everything was fine. As a Journey KOA, we didn't have high expectations for amenities, and the campground reflected that. It seemed like many of the sites were occupied by full-timers. To add to that, there were quite a few old, rundown RVs and trailers scattered around—many of which appeared to be uninhabitable by our standards. For a quick overnight stop on a long road trip, this KOA worked fine. The location was perfect, and it met the basic standards we expect from KOA, but it didn't offer much more. We would consider staying here again if we're passing through, but it wouldn't be our first choice if we were looking for a more comfortable or scenic stop.
