Site we had was very noisy. Too close to highway.

The staff was welcoming and the park was very well maintained and beautiful. My kids loved the play ground too. We were also grateful for the laundry facility as my kids were car sick on the way.

Very nice campground service was great

This is a convenient campground for a lay over stay or longer. Well groomed, flowers, plenty of big rig sites, almost all pull through. Also close to historic downtown.

It is a nice facility but the freeway/trains are so loud that they should give out free earplugs upon check in because sleeping is very difficult without them. The grounds are nice and the mini golf was enjoyable. The pool was greenish color and not clean. The bathrooms were good but they close all the bathrooms for cleaning from 11am-1pm so you have to leave the KOA to find a bathroom. Crazy

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We tell our guest at check in that the showers/restrooms are closed daily 11-1:00 for cleaning. It is also posted on the doors. This is the best time for us to close them since check out is 11:00 and check in is 1:00. We are a Journey KOA meaning close to the highway. Sorry about the train noise.

I did not realize there are 3 levels of KOAs! This KOA is the lowest level "journey". Positives: nice pool, clean camping sites, nice people, laundry, close to downtown Sheridan. Negatives: difficult parking (only one way in and out - can't park at laundry area), road construction ( at this time), water pressure was low (I know they are changing to city water).

Except for the coal trains that love to blow their whistles in the middle of the night, and the freeway so close, this is a nice park with good grass for tent campers.

Barbara was especially pleasant. Our late arrival was handled graciously - all around very nice experience. Thanks again for the warm welcome.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you! It is also nice to hear our staff is pleasant and helpful!

The cabin site felt comfortable and cozy with the patio area and landscaping. The bathroom facilities were clean.

Wide spaces. Clean. Good people. Good for one or two nights while traveling from Texas to Montana.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I'm glad you liked our campground. Thank you for the comment.

Clean, well maintained grounds/facilities.. Friendly, helpful staff. Only disappointments were being next to interstate with traffic noise throughout the night, and noise from the train during the night/early morning.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Sorry about the highway noise. We are a Journey meaning easy on and off the interstate/highway.

The staff was very helpful and the facilities were fine. We had a great time in the area during an 11 day stay. We would appreciate better wifi and/or cable tv. We would come back. Sheridan is an interesting Wyoming town and the Bighorn mountains are a national treasure

Quiet and nice creek beside it. Only and was the WiFi which was reallllllly slow.
Aug 20, 2017
It was cozy! My family and I really enjoyed our night there. It was super clean too!
Aug 20, 2017
Well kept grounds. Internet kept dropping even after midnight and after 11am when few people were there. Little light by showers. Shower and bathroom doors did not lock. Pool was very cold.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I checked the bathroom and shower doors and the locks work. Our pool is solar heated. Sorry about the internet it is slow but usually works for checking e-mail.

Very very noisy location heard trucks and vehicles on the highway all night in addition to the train. People were arriving at very late hours in noisy vehicles and motorcycles !!!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We do sometimes get late arrivals. In Aug. we always get motorcycles coming and going from Sturgis SD. They stay in the tent sites over by the creek. Great people enjoy having them every year.

5 in a 40' MH. Kids loved the pool & playground. Long & wide gravel spaces with lawn & tables. Mature trees - could use trimming. Accommodating & welcoming staff with nicely stocked store.

Nice clean campground close to the interstate. Will be quieter when the construction is done. Only drawback was that the bathrooms were closed for 2 hours and we had to leave campground to use bathroom.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We tell everyone at check in that our restrooms/showers are closed from 11-1:00 daily for cleaning. check-in is 1 pm.

Clean campground. Nice facilities, including pool, laundry, basketball court, croquet, play ground, highway is under construction so you have to take a detour. But we'll worth it. Awesome staff.

Thank you!

It was a great night

For some reason I didn't get a confirmation email so I had to make another reservation. The nice lady at the desk took care of that. My request for satellite friendly was ignored, right under a big cottonwood

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Yes, you had two reservations under 2 different 1st names. That being said you could have come back to the office and I could have moved you to the other site you had reserved. We try our best to honor our camper's requests. We have lots of trees throughout our park making it difficult to give everyone a satellite friendly spot.

Campground was very noisy from both interstate traffic as well as road construction traffic. Earplugs are a "must have". It was very dusty, probably due to the road construction. Nearby waterway stunk!! The wifi was nonexistent. Personnel were nice. Stayed here in a fifth wheel.

2 night stay, met our needs.
Aug 17, 2017
Very nice park with super friendly staff. Thank you.
Aug 16, 2017
The campground wasn't to bad but there was rust in the water. That is probably my only complaint.
Aug 16, 2017
The internet was a little slow but the campground was clean and quiet. The pool was great for kids.

Had a fantastic time we came to the area to celebrate my parents 25th wedding anniversary and vow renewal. This is a beautiful little Park to stay at easy-to-access and great instructions for the road construction never had any trouble getting there. I highly recommend anyone traveling through the area to stop and stay. Its very neat and clean. Juanita

Constructon cut off entry and power to park. KOA sewer smell produced an over powering smell to our site. Felt sorry for employees to have to work in that environment. We left and stayed in a friend's barn the rest of our visit with a cancer patient. Will never stay there again.

Al good except for no dump station

Made reservation through KOA app. Checked in late afternoon. Paid regular rate. Neither KOA website nor staff told us that there was a problem. The next morning my husband looked for the dumpsite. THEN we were told that there was no dump for the ENTIRE campground, not even at the full hook-up sites and there wouldn't be any for a month. "Go to free city dump at exit 20." Would you camp here again?
Aug 14, 2017
We stayed in several KOA's during our wyoming vacation and found Sheridan to be one of the very best. Only concern was lack of bathroom / shower facilities near the tent sites. So it was a trek to the restroom in the middle of the night but having said that, the facilities themselves were very clean and very nice! I'd suggest placing a shower house like Billings in the tent area. We'll be back!
