Although we were unable to fully appreciate the beautiful facility and amenities due to epic rain, and our short stay, this is definitely the best KOA we have ever stayed. We expect to return again this summer for a 3rd time, and may stay an extra day so we can really appreciate the care and love the owners/managers have put into this campground.

The hosts/owners were marvelous. This is our 2nd time staying here and we were amazed by the improvements they have made. Great spot for families and pristine campsites. We highly recommend this KOA!

The hosts were helpful and friendly, from finding the perfect site for us to mixing an authentic mint-chip milkshake. The campground shone with improvements, and we would definitely like to return for a longer stay!

The owners were cordial and helpful. They moved us to a better location for our one night stay. It made it easier to deport depart the next day. The patio looked new with good seating and grill. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained.

This is our second time staying at this KOA. The first time we had an emergency, late at night after hitting something on the road. They answered the phone and provided us a safe place to stay. We ended up needing to be there for several days, as our truck needed repairs. They were wonderful. This time we were just passing through but wanted to stay with them again. Beautiful park. Great people.

This was our first camping experience with our new camper at our first KOA. Mark must have realized this and after escorting us to our campsite he stayed and helped me hook up everything and even switched us to a pull through spot. IT WAS POURING RAIN AND MARK STAYED WITH ME UNTIL I WAS ALL HOOKED UP!!!! Great KOA here and thanks Mark!!

This was our first time at a KOA and we loved our stay at Scottsburg / Raintree Lake KOA. The park was clean and Mark and Marny were very welcoming and friendly. The bathrooms and showers were always clean and our dogs loved the dog park. We loved our Lake View Premium site with the concrete patio and the Blackstone grill. Site # 85 is amazing. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Very clean campground. We have camped at KOA for over 30 years and this is one of the top kampgrounds. We only stayed one night as we were just passing thru on our way south. We will be back.

Mark was really nice even when I was a last minute reservation. The site was perfectly level which was awesome. I’d like to go back in the summer , it’s a pretty property.

The owners, Mark & Marny, also work the campground and were excellent hosts. They are very attentive to all campers needs. The campground is small however well laid out and all sites were immaculate. There is plenty of space between campers. I would highly recommend this campground as it is close to the interstate and towns.

We stayed at the Scottsburg Raintree Lake KOA for just one night on our way south to Mississippi. Mark and Marny are just wonderful owners and made sure we were all set after escorting us to our site. I would definitely highly recommend this campground and will stay here again if we get the opportunity. Thank you for a pleasant stay!!

As the owner said it's a work in progress but you could never twll. Grounds are well maintained, sites level, facilities clean, and the Staff helpful. We were there before April 1st so they had limited sites which was fine. The usual amenities made this another great place to stay.

The campground is very nice and clean, but there is a lot of road and train noise.

No train nearby here! Must be the wrong campground you are reviewing. During the normal season there are lots of sites away from any road noise.

We only stayed one night (3/18/25). Mark was very friendly and the site was great! They were getting ready for regular camping season and it looks like it will be really nice!

Very nice place, very well kept up and very clean. Mark was awesome brought a few things from the store to our trailer thanks again mark. We would definitely stop there again maybe do some fishing

It was an off season stay so we didn’t use any facilities but are site was great and the staff was very accommodating and very nice. We plan on staying again in the fall

This KOA was clean, nicely groomed, and the owners very nice and proud of their KOA. Their pride showed through in their workers, which might have been family. A nice campground and we will definitely book again when we go next year on the way to Florida.

Campground was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Even though we left early around 5 o’clock in the morning staff member came out and showed us the correct dump station to use for winter time.

The owners have updated this park and created a great place to stay. Trees trimmed, concrete patios, and new gravel in addition to a lake and pool for summer fun. A lovely stop in the spring north of Louisville on our way home from Florida.

We stopped for night on the way south in January and again on the way north in March. Both times they were welcoming and helpful. The facilities and park were clean. They are making lots of improvements and the park looks like it would be a very nice family park in warmer weather.

What a beautiful KOA. Family owned and operated. Very well maintained and all kinds of things to do. Off leash dog park and a huge area they call the meadow. Nice even large sites. And, you can order you pizza at check in, and by the time your set up, its delivered to your site. As a transplant from Chicago I must say it is a pretty good pizza...very good sauce and enough toppings...🤗🍕 Would love to stay here again..

This Campground was absolutely wonderful. I could not expect a better 3-day stay anywhere. From the Sasquatch milkshakes to the 6 ft pool to the fishing pond. Great owners great playing Campground with really large community showers and clean bathrooms. I stayed in my own RV but I got to tour a couple of the cabins which were really nice including the two brand new ones that were just arrived the day before we did. Put highly recommend this Campground. My wife and I fished for about 3 hours and we ended up catching a whole bunch of turtles while everybody else caught the fish in different locations.
