The owners, Mark & Marny, also work the campground and were excellent hosts. They are very attentive to all campers needs. The campground is small however well laid out and all sites were immaculate. There is plenty of space between campers. I would highly recommend this campground as it is close to the interstate and towns.

Mark was a great host! He upgrades us to one of there new drive through sites. Very nice. We will definitely stay with them on our future trips.

We stayed at the Scottsburg Raintree Lake KOA for just one night on our way south to Mississippi. Mark and Marny are just wonderful owners and made sure we were all set after escorting us to our site. I would definitely highly recommend this campground and will stay here again if we get the opportunity. Thank you for a pleasant stay!!

As the owner said it's a work in progress but you could never twll. Grounds are well maintained, sites level, facilities clean, and the Staff helpful. We were there before April 1st so they had limited sites which was fine. The usual amenities made this another great place to stay.

The campground is very nice and clean, but there is a lot of road and train noise.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

No train nearby here! Must be the wrong campground you are reviewing. During the normal season there are lots of sites away from any road noise.

We only stayed one night (3/18/25). Mark was very friendly and the site was great! They were getting ready for regular camping season and it looks like it will be really nice!

Very nice place, very well kept up and very clean. Mark was awesome brought a few things from the store to our trailer thanks again mark. We would definitely stop there again maybe do some fishing

It was an off season stay so we didn’t use any facilities but are site was great and the staff was very accommodating and very nice. We plan on staying again in the fall

This KOA was clean, nicely groomed, and the owners very nice and proud of their KOA. Their pride showed through in their workers, which might have been family. A nice campground and we will definitely book again when we go next year on the way to Florida.

Campground was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Even though we left early around 5 o’clock in the morning staff member came out and showed us the correct dump station to use for winter time.

Extremely nice park with friendly and attentive staff. From the texts keeping us updated to the escort to the camp site. Plenty of upgrades in progress. Impressed with the new patio pads. Definitely will be back. Thanks!

The owners have updated this park and created a great place to stay. Trees trimmed, concrete patios, and new gravel in addition to a lake and pool for summer fun. A lovely stop in the spring north of Louisville on our way home from Florida.

We stopped for night on the way south in January and again on the way north in March. Both times they were welcoming and helpful. The facilities and park were clean. They are making lots of improvements and the park looks like it would be a very nice family park in warmer weather.

Friendly staff. Clean and quiet. Stopped in winter on the way south. Construction going on, not that it was bothersome in anyway. Guessing it is a great place in the warmer months! Would recommend.

Clean, well kept & maintained campground. Mark the owner came out to greet me and personally escort me to my site even though I arrived late. The bathroom, shower laundry was super clean.

1/2025 We Winter camped one night on our way to Florida. The owner met us in the parking lot so we wouldn’t have to go inside and check in! Very friendly owner/operators. They communicated weather updates for their location as we traveled to their park. We will definitely be repeat customers.

Nice park, friendly helpful owner. We stay one night in January when it was freezing out, was very happy to find an open park. Laundry and bathroom was available and very clean. Easy in and out.

Mark & Marny are always such gracious hosts. The Scottsburg/Raintree Lake KOA has become a regular stop for our travels from MI to FL and back each winter. The sites that are open in the winter are easy to get in and out of. Would love to visit during the summer season sometime too. Beautiful campground!!

What a beautiful KOA. Family owned and operated. Very well maintained and all kinds of things to do. Off leash dog park and a huge area they call the meadow. Nice even large sites. And, you can order you pizza at check in, and by the time your set up, its delivered to your site. As a transplant from Chicago I must say it is a pretty good pizza...very good sauce and enough toppings...🤗🍕 Would love to stay here again..

This Campground was absolutely wonderful. I could not expect a better 3-day stay anywhere. From the Sasquatch milkshakes to the 6 ft pool to the fishing pond. Great owners great playing Campground with really large community showers and clean bathrooms. I stayed in my own RV but I got to tour a couple of the cabins which were really nice including the two brand new ones that were just arrived the day before we did. Put highly recommend this Campground. My wife and I fished for about 3 hours and we ended up catching a whole bunch of turtles while everybody else caught the fish in different locations.
