We were just there one night but staff treated us like family. Site was level. We were towing and didn’t want to disconnect and they found us a perfect length site, 75 feet long. We’d stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks, the Hamiltons.

Wifi is terrible to try and connect to especially if you used it before. Cable channels were missing. Could not get several local channels and all channels were not clear. Would like to see improvements in both of these services.

Very friendly employees, we had an accident travelling south and we had to change our reservation more then 3 times and they always found a place for us. When we finally got to the campground, we had a tight spot but the 2 gentlemen guided us and help my husband to park. Thank you very much to all employees on the grounds and at the office.

The only complaint is being placed on a site that had a very high volume of traffic in and out all day! We stayed 7 nights one night would have been ok but maybe change your longer term people off the main rd?

We were there overnight. Very tight site and lots of dirt, no grass. Grass and Picnic table was on the wrong side of camper. Looks like maybe some work had been done to the site. Perhaps put some gravel down for future. Have stayed there before for multiple days...love the wildlife and lake.

Nice campground, nice employees, but it is very noisy two main highways very near, garbage pickup early In the morning sounds like a bomb going off.

I would just like to thank all the staff at Savannah South KOA, and Anita especially, for our wonderful stay at your site. We are new to KOA, and camping in a trailer as well, and this was the best place we could have come for our first trip out of FL. The site has everything you need, from amenities to information, set in a landing spot for Savannah. This will not be our last trip here!!!!

We love the cabins on the lake! This was our 2nd time staying there and in the same cabin���All of the comforts you could want. The people welcome you with a smile, the cabin was spotless and the VIEW. Beautiful!

After a horrible experience at Kings Dominion KOA, I swore I’d never stay at another KOA. Took a chance on KOA Savannah South. It was a wonderful experience. Every KOA employee was helpful, friendly and accommodating. Wish I could have stayed a few more days. I will next time. The grounds are beautiful, well maintained which is a reflection of great management.

Beautiful property, very well maintained. Easy in and out from the highway. Facilities are clean and in good working order. The front end sites are a bit tight, mostly used for one or two night travelers. Sites near the lake are bigger and most have a nice view of the water. Highway noise is quite real when outside, but inside our 5th wheel was hardly noticeable.

The bath houses were immaculate, the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay here and will be back.

The campsites are to close together. It took me 1 hour to get the internet working. I’ll probably stay at another campground next time I’m in Savannah.

Nice place. Don't expect the wifi to work. Their network setup is really bad. Restrooms and showers are plentiful and cleaner than most.

Our site was beautifully landscaped and near a pond that housed 3 alligators, geese were walking around campgrounds. Blue Herons, baby turtles and white swans. Able to catch and release fishing, rent a rowboat. Peaceful and quiet. Camp store very friendly workers and stocked well with necessities. Internet worked well. Bathrooms were clean along with great hot showers. Stayed for 5 days.

We recently stayed at this KOA with our fifth wheel, and it set the bar high for all our future trips. This was our first time staying at a KOA, and it was a great experience from start to finish. ​The site itself was a pull-through, which made setup a breeze, and all the hookups were in excellent working condition. We were particularly impressed that some sites, including ours, featured a 'dog pen'—a fenced-in grass area right at the site. It was incredibly convenient to be able to let our dogs safely wander and relax outside while we were at the campsite. ​The park also offered a full suite of amenities, including a clean, well-maintained pool and convenient laundry facilities. We appreciated that the site included both Wi-Fi and cable access. What really stood out, however, was the staff—everyone we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and easy to talk to. If all our future KOA stays are as well-managed as this one, we will be very happy campers. Highly recommended!
