It very beautiful and family oriented, we met a lot of cool people who became our friends and we will definitely be returning!! The bath house, laundry room, pool, food, and putt putt, and so much more was amazing to have!! Definitely recommend

they have two wi-fi’s ..neither work … not there fault on rv site .. assigned site next store neighbor using my site to park their vehicle and using my power ..of course they weren’t there ..so we had to go to different site .. I’m diabetic.. needed to do my insulin and eat .. had to wait until later .. unreal!!

Our stay was a one night stay. We were put in a tight spot, because it was apparently the only spot left. We walked around the campground and saw many open sites that would have been easier to get in and out of. Not sure of the reasoning but no worries. Not sure we would stay again.

The visit was very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Site was clean. We didn't get pizza or wood delivered, but it can be requested which is convenient - and the pizza is good too - we've had it before. Plenty of ways to be active. Only criticism would be the floors in the bathhouse were not clean. The sinks and toilets were acceptable, but the floors could have used a bit more care.

Good spot for an overnight if traveling I95. Lake is beautiful. Mayflies are very annoying to the point you can't sit outside. Despite the Mayfiles we would stay again for an overnight.

This KOA is our half-way point on our road trip. This is the 2nd time staying there. The staff are friendly. Check in is fast, and they escort you to your site. The grounds are clean and shady. The pool was refreshing on such a hot day of traveling. The lake is on the edge of the campground and has a beautiful view. We would definitely stay there again.

Best camping experience ever! The staff went above and beyond to help. They escorted us and helped us back into the campsite. Our breaker kept tripping so they came and replaced it. Someone even helped us empty the black tank! Showers were clean. Swimming area was clean and roped off. Incredible staff and park! We will be back!!

Just an overnight stay on the way from Fla. to Va. so we didn't get to enjoy all the cg had to offer, but the site was level and clean. My only issue was there were alot of ants. I had to spray all my hotel service lines with Raid to keep them out of my RV.

KOA Santee staff is by far the nicest we've come across during all of our KOA stays. Clean pool area seemed popular. Most sites are on the hill leading up to the Lake. Sites are very, very basic, grass and dirt. Bathhouse has AC and 1 is being renovated. Only complaint is guests and staff driving so fast kicking up all the dust and dirt. P.S. avoid Lake House Resturant We will stay again.

Upon arrival you are escorted to your site. Very clean. Crew was out cleaning the swimming area at lake every morning.

We arrived a little late and the managers were very accommodating thank you. We had an incident with our RV the next morning and everyone kindly jumped in to get us on our way. Such outstanding service and attitudes. We are grateful. We highly recommend this site!

A good quiet overnight stop for I95. The lake gives a good spot to cool off, fish, or boat If you have one. It’s pretty sparse as far as anything else goes. Some investment into infrastructure and sites are needed. Since it is wooded and by the lake, be prepared for the bugs that go with that location. The staff are great and the pool is clean.

Very polite office and grounds staff. I was impressed with the cleanliness and hard work of the grounds/maintenance staff. I saw them constantly working and cleaning the beach. Also, nice amenities. Very impressive!

The campground was OK, nothing spectacular, it wasn't very busy as we had had some bad weather and the lake was not in good fishing order. We are not fishing persons, so not much to do in the area. Our campsite was level, and offered 50 amp, water, and sewer.

A very nice park - mature trees with Spanish moss that provides plenty of shade. A swim beach, picnic area, boat ramp, pizza/wing delivery, and a boat ramp! Everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Also, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this campground.

The campground could be better maintained. Putt putt had not been clean of dirt and leaves on course. The sites are too closed to each other. Maybe another site would have been better.

Loved the campground, staff was friendly but the restrooms went over 24 hours without being cleaned and some of the bathroom stalls in the women’s bathroom could not be used because of not being cleaned.

Campsite was just off the interstate but still quiet. My tent site was right on the lake which was lovely and removed from the RVs a bit. I had my own picnic table and fire pit. It was a nice gift to be able to sit and read and then go to sleep! I do wish the bathrooms had been a little closer but that wasn't an issue really...just being lazy!

Second time to this campground. No a bad setup. Great to have the restaurant next door. Office Pizza was great. Staff was friendly. We were concerned about getting out of our particular site in the morning. Thought about it all night and figured at worst we would unhook the car and back out of the site. Fortunately the site to our left pulled out and the boat in front of us left before we did.

The staff was super nice, the koa was located centrally but the facilities are older and dated. we were parked next to a full time resident with alot of stuff piled around the outside. One of the staff said to keep a close eye on our dogs since a racoon had attacked one the week prior

This was our third time visiting this camp site, it's so nice and relaxing. Everytime we visit we were the only blacks there but the people there are soooo nice and friendly to us. Everyone spoke and held conversations...We will be back soon for another getaway trip soon!
