Very compact place as you are on top of one another but decent half grass areas mainly. Beach ares gets crowded and needs attention with grooming. Put put also need attention as well due to some greens curling up. Thankfully it was not full as we were told as their were many open slots avaible which were used by some cars with boat trailers. Fire pits should be looked at ours was under ground.

Wow when I say we enjoyed our stay here it was amazing. We always meet wonderful people , this is our second time here and it won't be our last.

We found the Bathrooms were clean,hot water aplenty and showers were clean had shower curtains and good drying/changing area. The campgrounds were kept clean as well as pool! The roads were well mantained friendly,visible and promptly helpful. The electric,water,and dump station were satisfactory.

Very nice campground, the staff were helpful and friendly, but the sites weren’t wide enough so I had to move my truck so my neighbors could have a bonfire without burning my truck. We didn’t want to unhook but we had to!

Wonderful park on Lake Marion. Beach / water(boat) access. Garage pickup daily. Hunt Brothers pizza. Clean park friendly staff. Had a nice corner site lots of room and shade.

Great location and beautiful camp. Sharon was great and helpful! Pizza and wood delivery was exceptional! Not sure what you can do but this but kids leave a lot of trash at the lake and basketball court - I’ve not seen that at other campgrounds.

Overcrowded and very small campsites, we also had a light right above our site that lite up our camper and was hard for everyone to sleep

This is our 2nd stay at Santee KOA while transiting SC. As always the staff is helpful and courteous. We will keep this park on our list of stopovers anytime we are passing through SC.

Overall positive - recommendations would be policing the sites after guests vacate. There were bits of trash all about the site, straw wrappers, bits of plastic. A lockable trash can close to the sites would reduce excuses for your tent campers, in theory. I stayed in a National Park during my trip and the sites were immaculate, would chose to stay at a NPS if it fit my agenda.

This is the second time staying here. It’s always clean and quiet. We only stayed overnight and didn’t use the pool and other amenities. But nice people and a nice place to stay!

We were not notified PRIOR to check-in that there was a SEVERE Mayfly infestation!!! We hooked-up our van and Maflies swarmed everywhere!!! All over the van, and u so that we could not open a door without Mayflies getting inside. It was umpossible to walk outside, sit outside, etc. We planned to stay 4 nights but left the next day under very difficult circumstances!! Could have emailed a warning

The ant situation is ridiculous. They got into the camper and the car. I know it's outdoors, but if you're a campground you should be spraying for intrusive ants.

Catching up on helpful Google reviews from previous stays. I usually place reviews on Campendium for RV parks. ---------------- Stayed 7 nights Site #E-01 Stayed in end of Nov 2021. Catching up on reviews. Site type: Pull-through, FHU, 50 AMP, end of row Lovely campground setting and environment. Would stay again. I do not recall the specific cell service as it was a while back. It was at least sufficient for us to work on from our hotspots through VPNs, which require at least 3 bars. Hoping that helps. Location: Gas close by and groceries not too far. Grounds: Clean and nicely maintained! Office/Store: Good sized store. Some grocery items and a good amount of RV stuff. Site: We had an end site which is nice for our pups because you get some extra space. It also had beautiful views of the lakes and sunset.
