This campground is beautiful, easy to get to and very helpful staff. Santee is one of our stops when we travel from Florida to Ohio. Nice big pull through sites available with full hookups so we don’t have to unhook our tow vehicle. Next time we will try the pizza.

Stayed one week for the hubbies to fish. Great campsite, level, shaded. Lovely rustic campground with full hookups on too beautiful Lake Marion. Convenient to restaurants and grocery shopping. Although close to I-95, quiet, subtle highway noise. Easy access from I-95. Also easy access pull through campsites. Oh yes, two golf courses in Santee!

The reservation for a 45 foot coach towing a car. They had assigned us a spot that was too short. Eventually an individual showed up in a golf cart. The park was empty but he leads us all around the park. Eventually we got stuck in a turn and had to detach the car. Then he took us to a spot that was not level. What a hassle! It was like the guy on the cart had never done this before.

Some road noise. Pretty park KOA has become too expensive for an overnight stop. Thanks for the times I have stopped at this park.

Awesome place. Been there 4 or 5 times. Staff has always been friendly and accommodating. Easy in and out large sites.

We stayed just one night on the way down to Florida. Been staying at KOA's for several years and always have had good luck. This KOA was one of the worst I've seen and definitely the worse we've stayed at. The staff in the office were great. But the conditions of the park and the site was below average for a KOA. Our site was unlevel gravel and dirt. Most pull through sites are much better. 2/5

Great place to stay tons of stuff to do well maintained. Friendly staff very helpful. They even found a sewer hose end connection for me since mine got left behind somewhere else. Great Pizza and wings on site. Stayed on both ends of our trip coming and going and will stay again.

Been at Santee KOA several times as a stop-over between MD and FLA. Easy access from 95, clean, staff friendly and accommodating, always good pizza after long drive. Looking forward to staying long enough to fist the lake.

Staff was friendly and amenities were clean. Sites are gravel/grassy, our site was very uneven. The biggest issue was the mayflies. Apparently, it was mayfly season. We were given a flyer about it when we checked in. We learned quickly not to leave our awning lights on, as the mayflies covered the outside of the camper and are quick to get in camper when opening doors.

This KOA was a KOA Journey listing. I’ve stayed at both KOA Journeys & Holidays. I understand the differences in the amenities and such but the Journeys sites charge the same ($80) as the Holidays sites. I believe that the Journey sites are worth no more than $50 per night. The sites are generally dirt/grass, small, and are not nearly as nice as the the Holiday sites. The staff are very ni

The person on the phone told me that $70 was the cheapest site she had with water/electic. Web site shows $65. The campground only had about 10 campers. THe roads were washed out. Bathhouses were clean but musty smelling. Lady at front desk the nexxt morning still told me 70 was the cheapest and told me I was looking at tent site, but the screen I saved says 65. Both were too high for site.

Every member that works there was very nice very informative and very helpful. And the campers that came and went while we were there seem to be respectful and quiet.

Catching up on helpful Google reviews from previous stays. I usually place reviews on Campendium for RV parks. ---------------- Stayed 7 nights Site #E-01 Stayed in end of Nov 2021. Catching up on reviews. Site type: Pull-through, FHU, 50 AMP, end of row Lovely campground setting and environment. Would stay again. I do not recall the specific cell service as it was a while back. It was at least sufficient for us to work on from our hotspots through VPNs, which require at least 3 bars. Hoping that helps. Location: Gas close by and groceries not too far. Grounds: Clean and nicely maintained! Office/Store: Good sized store. Some grocery items and a good amount of RV stuff. Site: We had an end site which is nice for our pups because you get some extra space. It also had beautiful views of the lakes and sunset.
