Santa Cruz North / Costanoa KOA Reviews

Of the five nights I stayed at Costanoa, I was only able to sit outside in the sun one day due to the heavy rainfall. I was able to attend the Friday night Bingo. Alex & Sam were very engaging. Afterwards, I had the chicken dinner in the restaurant. I was alone so I sat at the bar. I had to retrieve my own silverware. The dinner was okay, but pricey.

We stayed Easter Weekend. The campground was full but I never had to wait for a bathroom stall or a shower. The bathrooms were always clean and well stocked, the garbage cans were not overflowing! There were lots of activities despite the weather. And there is a bar cart making the rounds!

Yearly stay with fiends campground is very clean and we have the best time.

Enjoyed this facility so stayed an extra two days! Very clean.

Beautiful site, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We played their Friday night bingo and it was so much fun. The treasure hunt for the kids on Saturday night was awesome my grandson had the best time! We’ll definitely be back!

Staff was friendly, the grounds were nicely maintained. Having a full restaurant and bar was a nice option.

Beautiful place to spend a few days. Nice landscaping. Clean. Quality facility for sure. I just question the need for such a gustapo type security. Some were boarding on being rude. I don't smoke cigarettes but I don't care what people do when they are outside. Some also enjoy an occasional cigar but I know this isn't allowed either. Really? In their own campsite.

Beautiful setting. Campground clean, restrooms clean. Activities on the weekend. Bar cart fun. Would be great if a few breakfast items were available to go in the morning. We will be back.

This was our first time at Costanoa. We stayed in Whale North site 15 (28ft travel trailer). It was by far the most we have ever spent $ on a site. The premises is very well maintained and we loved the security guard and lack of bad characters. The view was beautiful, and neighbors were quiet and lovely. Loved the dry sauna. A few things prevent 5 stars- very unlevel parking spot, Small outdoor area with pull thru site, door to trailer opened right by fire ring which made it unusable, black water hose traveled uphill. We liked the clean grounds, and restrooms were clean, nice views, good proximity to the beach, good restaurant.

Beautiful grounds,stayed in lighthouse tent area.friday night late arrivals,night watchman shining light in tent 1045 disruptive to sleep,more consideration for pricy camping,otherwise great.Loved the sauna!

This was our first time staying at Costanoa. It is now one of our favorites, great location, friendly staff, clean facilities. They have everything you could need on location.

The grounds are exceptional. Plenty to do great ocean views and relaxing. Nice restaurant and bar and camp store.

The check-in process had me in tears: they told me I could not stay, because my camping trailer is not "manufactured", it is a cargo trailer that has been built out professionally. WHY WAS THIS NOT MADE CLEAR WHEN I RESERVED? However, they made it right by placing my party in a cabin, and we had the trailer parked out front so we could access everything. "This happens all the time" they said.

The grounds were beautifully maintained. The site was spacious and well-designed with a great view. The activities were fun. The market had everything you could possibly need and more. And we loved the goats!!!
