Located 1 mile east of Cedar Point Drive on U.S. Route 6 (Cleveland Road). PLEASE READ BELOW FOR THE BEST ROUTE.
Coming on the Ohio turnpike or from the west, Route 2: exit onto Route 250 North (Sandusky). Make a right on Perkins Ave(1mile) Turn left on to Remington Ave (1/2 mile) Turn Right onto Cleveland Rd/Route 6 (700yards) Turn left onto E Shoreway Dr (200ft) Make a Right into our campground (Look for the KOA sign and arrow pointing RIGHT) ~ATTENTION~ THIS WAY TAKES YOU THROUGH THE ENTIRE TOWN OF SANDUSKY, THIS CAN BE VERY CONFUSING....BELOW IS THE BEST ROUTE TO GET TO OUR CAMPGROUND
Coming from the east on Route 2: exit at Rye Beach Road. Make a left onto Route 6/Cleveland Rd. Follow Route 6 west for about 4.5 miles. We are located on the right-hand side of Route 6, just past Kasper Buick car lot. Turn Right onto E Shoreway Dr (200ft) Make a Right into our campground (Look for the KOA sign and arrow pointing RIGHT!!!). THIS IS THE BEST ROUTE TO AVOID TRAFFIC AND CITY TRAFFIC LIGHTS.

We are excited to introduce you to our NEW deluxe cabin buddy sites at the Sandusky / Bayshore KOA Holiday! Our buddy sites offer the best of both worlds by allowing your group a place to hang out together while also enjoying a relaxing outdoor vacation.
Our deluxe cabin buddy sites are the ideal Sandusky lodging solution for those camping with larger groups, teams, families, or friends. These sites can sleep up to sixteen people, with various sleeping arrangements available including full beds, bunk beds, and futons/sleeper sofas. Each cabin also comes with linens for each bed (full and bunk beds).
Additionally, these cabins in Sandusky, Ohio are equipped with a full bath (with tub & shower) and a full kitchen. There is cable provided with each of these cabins (limited channels) and iron patio furniture outside. The conjoined concrete pad with a main firepit allows you the perfect space to reconnect and tell stories by the campfire. Your booking will include two cabins joined by the concrete pad and fire pit.
You can’t beat these Deluxe cabins close to Cedar Point, Ohio. After having a fun day at the campground or going to Cedar Point Amusement Park, you can unwind with your crew and relax at your buddy site. With a buddy site, you don’t have to worry about leaving your site for the showers, and packing for a deluxe cabin camping trip is quick and easy because all you need to worry about is being comfortable (and eating delicious camping meals). You can just sit back, relax, and enjoy!
Our campground is known for being a very active and friendly for campers in the Sandusky and Cedar Point areas. We strive to make sure all our campers have fun and enjoy their vacation, so we have a later quiet time, from 11pm to 8 am.
