The only negative is the constant air traffic over the park to the nearby airport. The park staff were very helpful, and warm. Will definitely stay there again when in the area.

I know there has been an ownership change as well as management but our stay was as usual very nice. Hope once they get everything back on track that they keep the weekend breakfast and hopefully the other crawfish boil that they used to do before Covid. Will be excited to see what the new staff comes up with. And will definitely be back soon. Its been our little get away for years. Thanks

KOA was nowhere near full(which we were told it was) put us 2ft from fifth wheel next to us. Hot water heater next to our bedroom window came on and off all night. Had a flag pole and the flag beat up next to our trailer all day and night. Misreble two days.

Nice park, only downside was the pool was closed " for repairs ". Sure wish we would have known this when booking as I incorporate a daily swim for my health. We would have booked elsewhere with a functioning pool.

Great Staff that took you to your space and answered all your questions. Quiet. They were getting their pool fixed so we couldn’t swim. Nice safe feel.

Overall a nice place, my lower rating is based on the pool not being opened and nowhere did I see that it was closed nor was it mentioned at check in. But my checking email said the pool was available.

The owners answered the phone not very far from close of day. I explained how we were in a tight situation and they not only gave us a spot...they worked with us in order for a late check out. With their kindness and welcoming spirit...we extended our stay for one more day. The park was very clean and quiet hours we observed so we slept peacefully. We absolutely will return!

We are residents of San Angelo and have stayed at the KOA at least four times. The Park is always clean and well maintained. The staff makes you feel welcome. I had difficulty disconnecting my waste hose so I called the office to see if they could help. Ray came by and helped. The folks at the San Angelo KOA make you feel like they value your business. I would highly recommend this campground.

Just what we have come to expect for a KOA. Beautiful, spotless and friendly. Wide easy access pull through spot with perfect 50 amp service. Upkeep and maintenance was excellent. Store was well stocked and nicely merchandised. Bob the space guide was friendly and funny. We stayed in spot 52 and unbelievably the Wi-Fi worked great.

Very clean campground located in a nice area of San Angelo. Particularly like the walking path just outside the front gate.

We stayed at your KOA twice. Apparently, the morons you have taking reservations does not understand what a side by side reservations is. This time we SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED side by side parking. When we arrived there we were not parked together. However, the space beside us was left open for the entire time we were there. Whoever is in charge there needs to check the competency of your staff.

the staff was friendly. The rv sites were very close together and gravel. Not much room if neighbors both have slide outs. the grounds were kept up, and had daily trash pick up. the location was convenient to see things in San Angelo.

Had to extend our stay for 2 extra days to take care of a truck problem. The office bent over backwards to find space for us - they did an exceptional job. ended up we were able to stay in the same spot 2 extra days (of course we had to pay but that is expected). San Angelo was a fun stay - quiet with some airport noise during the day. Night time was quiet.

I was on assignment in San Angelo for 6 months. This was my first RV and KOA experience! The location was perfect with deer sightings almost daily. The grounds were kept immaculate! The staff were phenomenal!

I loved my stay here! I was taking a motorcycle trip from Denver to this area, and I decided to camp at KOAs instead of other lodgings. I'm glad I did! This location is really nice: - great amenities that feel updated / modernized, - kept very clean and tidy, - at pretty nice location with plenty of tree shade (note: there is some light air traffic overhead) - managed well, efficiently, and with heart My tent site was really nice, with a raised area for the tent which - had it rained - would have been a major source of peace of mind. In addition to the all-around great experience with the core reason for my visit (tent camping + showers), I also had a truly excellent experience with the folks who run this location: Diana & Troy (and another woman I spoke to only over the phone). Without getting into a very long story, I had a 22-hr motorcycle ride to get here that did not go very well. When Diana and Troy heard about the story, they personally took care to make sure that I was okay, and went out of their way to make me feel right at home. At every possibility, they were accommodating to a degree that would never be expected of a management team, and - after an arduous trip - it was enough to bring tears to my eyes. These are GOOD people. I would stop at the San Angelo KOA Holiday just to support Diana and Troy even if it wasn't great, but the awesome thing is it IS great. Great stay, great people. You really couldn't ask for more.
