Good place, and an excellent location! Amenities were slightly less than most koa's. But maybe its in progress with new owners or something. It Would be nice to have pool, cabins, outlets, and water at tent sites, etc

I didn't want to leave this beautiful Kampground in Salida and we will definitely be back! Beautiful location, well maintained, and very kind employees who seemed happy to be there and to help you. Thank you Salida KOA!

The deluxe cabin we stayed in was new and very nice. The campground is well kept and stays pretty quiet. There is also a nice morning walk thru the tent camping area, chipmunks and birds. This was the 2nd time we've stayed here this summer, highly recommend.

We were late on the road and needed a place to camp for the night. Even though it was after hours we were able to rent a spot for the night. We set up camp, was able to take nice hot showers after a long day of driving. We broke camp early the next morning and we were back on the road by 8:00 am.

Stayed 3 nights in a delightful deluxe cabin...which really was loaded with extras, but, kept an outdoors trip feel!

The staff was TOPS!!! Very friendly, and very helpful. The cabin was great!! The location is great! The internet was horrible! Wasn't able to get connection in my cabin; wasn't able to keep connected in the recreation room. Also, not absolutely necessary, but it would have been nice to have access to hot water and/or coffee early in the mornings before I left to hike.

Employees are nice! Cabins are dirty. Dead gnats plastered over the outside walls of the cabin. Gnats living in the light fixture and fly all over you. Screen on door is broken so moths get in. Lock on door is not stable/unsafe. Cigarette butts in the fire pit. Bathrooms gross/No paper towels. Worst KOA we have ever stayed in. No amenities. Old campground that is "New" to KOA. Sorry, but it's bad.

The campsites were pleasant enough, but the overall campground amenities lacked personality. For the price, expectations are not met: Restrooms and showers are far from most sites-there needs to be additional facilities, including trash dumpsters to serve all sites conveniently. The dog park was very nice.

Linda & Jennifer were excellent. They worked with us when cabin we rented had mice droppings & refrigerator frozen, moving us to a different unit. Bathroom towels were old & bleach spoted.Wifi sucks!! cost of this place is NOT worth it. Little to no improvements or updates. Driveway has washed out areas, not good when driving a coach or trailer in.Open hours are so limited. Fencing not repaired.

Nice people so that part is great. Looks like the RV section is the drawing card. We camped for 2 nights and the tent section is worn out, fences down, small amounts of trash. Bathrooms need upgrading. But we just camped and it all worked for us.

At the time of check-in Linda was very welcoming, friendly, and very willing to help with information on what to see and do in the area ! The campground itself was very well kept. The site for our Class A was very user friendly and the views were spectacular. A very pleasant camping experience ! The bathroom and showers were clean but yet need a little TLC, hence my rating of 4. We'll come back

I didnt make it in the day of reservation do to car trouble but the host called me to see if I made it. when I told him about my car issue and that i could make it in the next day he offered to move my reservation to a new date at no extra cost. this was very kind of him to do and it helped keep my vacation from becoming a disaster.

Second time we stayed here. The campground is taking shape, but still a ways to go. Little things make a difference. There was no picnic table in our site either time we stayed. This time I am pretty sure our site was the only one without a table. Upgrade the WI-FI (not taking about the cell phone service). Work on the water pressure. Put in sewer covers.

Very friendly and helpful staff- they're the best part. Wish the office hours were longer and the playground amenities are very poor. Not much scenic ambiance.

Mend restroom was outdated and in need of through cleaning. Toilet seat so loose it rendered it useless. The middle toilet seat was filthy. Showers were just as bad.

This was up at the Mt not far from the KOA. The KOA had great sites for RV and tent. The staff was very kind.
