Wish they would allow more than 400 words. Very Beautiful location and SUPER CLEAN. All the utensils and facilities were clean and the only thing I would suggest would be BBQ tongs. The linens were clean and smelled clean. our BBQ and firepit area was very clean and well appointed. We could tell the owners take pride in this campground, will definitely be back, wish we would've booked longer.

Loved the deluxe cabins! Nice and clean. However low water pressure and tepid water made showering difficult and water would just suddenly go cold. Soap dispenser by the bathroom sink was empty. Beds were a little too soft.

Great location, clean campground, clean bathrooms, great staff. The breakfast pizza was wonderful as well as the everything pizza. Neat setup where you don't have to leave the compound to search for a restaurant. I have camped here before and will do so again!!!

It was exciting to stay at a new KOA location, in the beautiful surroundings of tis region. Our hosts were friendly and professional. Our only complaints: our cabin lacked a ceiling fan, so we had to buy one. There’s only one electrical outlet in the cabin—very inconvenient. We’ve been spoiled by other KOA campgrounds. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay.

Our cabin was clean and the bathroom had all the necessary amenities. The park was simple and maintained. The reservation was easy to make and check in was straight forward.

I stayed at this KOA the first year it opened, and except for last year when I was in Scotland for 15 days, have stayed there since when I come to Salida in June.

Very friendly and welcoming. Close to town but quiet for the most part. Other KOAs had Saturday night activities such as cookouts or movie night.

Convenient location to attractions in the area. Bathrooms could use an upgrade (especially showers). Bathrooms were not cleaned daily. Office hours limited, should be more available to guests.

The Tent site was great. The stream is a great place for kids to play. I would come back if we were only staying in tents. The cabins were another story. The queen mattresses in the cabins are awful. We had 2 cabins booked and both mattresses were bad. It ruined the trip for my elderly parents. We come to the Salida area every year, and if my parents come next year we won't be staying here.

The staff was very nice. The tiny house was very clean. Beautiful views of the mountains. Loved looking at the stars at night. Very quite place. We enjoyed it very much. We will definitely stay again.

Great property, good peoole and a cabin with A/C... love it! Only complaint is Kabin 2 picnic table needs repair / replacment ASAP!

This is our favorite KOA, we have now stayed there 7 times. We had one of the new deluxe cabins this time and it is perfect. We have stayed 2 times in the little cabins, once in a tent and 3 times in our RV. Salida is an amazing town. The updates they are making in this Koa are perfect and cant wait to see what the future updates will be.

Cabin was nice to stay in. Only complaint is that the office was closed the day we checked in (the entire staff was gone except for 1 helpful employee) and when we got to the KOA at 6pm to check in, the cabin had not been cleaned and my reservation had not been prepped. I had to call the emergency number in order to have the cabin cleaned and get the keys to the cabin.

The deluxe cabin was very clean, stayed nicely warm and was perfect for our stay. The employees/owners? were very friendly. Only complaint would be the bed is super soft.

The power kept kicking off and we didn't have heat for most of the night...temperatures dropped down to 28° in the night so it was quite cold. We were staying in a camping cabin so it wasn't as warm and insulated as one that was fully furnished with plumbing.

We stayed in a cabin. It was clean and comfortable. Our only issue is the bathroom is on the opposite side of the park. Too far for a mid- night run. They do have cabins with bathroom. We choose one without.

The deluxe cabin we stayed in was new and very nice. The campground is well kept and stays pretty quiet. There is also a nice morning walk thru the tent camping area, chipmunks and birds. This was the 2nd time we've stayed here this summer, highly recommend.

The staff was TOPS!!! Very friendly, and very helpful. The cabin was great!! The location is great! The internet was horrible! Wasn't able to get connection in my cabin; wasn't able to keep connected in the recreation room. Also, not absolutely necessary, but it would have been nice to have access to hot water and/or coffee early in the mornings before I left to hike.

Employees are nice! Cabins are dirty. Dead gnats plastered over the outside walls of the cabin. Gnats living in the light fixture and fly all over you. Screen on door is broken so moths get in. Lock on door is not stable/unsafe. Cigarette butts in the fire pit. Bathrooms gross/No paper towels. Worst KOA we have ever stayed in. No amenities. Old campground that is "New" to KOA. Sorry, but it's bad.

This was up at the Mt not far from the KOA. The KOA had great sites for RV and tent. The staff was very kind.
