We enjoyed our stay, the location was perfect. The staff were courteous and helpful. We found everything to be as advertised. The bathrooms and grounds were clean, the site was level and worked great for us. We will definitely be coming back! Well done!

everything was fine but the wi-fi is literally useless. 2-3 bars throughout the 8 day stay, would take minutes to load cnn.com or would just time out.

Very friendly service and beautiful sites! My only comment would be that for those in tent sites, the restrooms are way toward the front near the office so it would be a very long walk—it was easier to drive. That said, it was nice that the tent sites were set back against the hillside and stream, and I would definitely stay again if through this way!

Women's restroom lock did not function. Needs another bathroom at other end of campground.

Super easy check in and check out. Staff was above and beyond friendly during their routine rounds to check on everyone, which made us feel very safe and taken care of.

Tent camped and it was very noisy from highway traffic. The koa worker drove around on his 4 wheeler making laps every 30 min. around the campground. noise from the 4 wheeler was distracting.The bath house is at the very front entrance so a bit of a hike for tent campers who need the restroom. I noticed a lot of people driving up to the restrooms. it gets a 4 for quick Access to activities.

A lovely location outside of Salida and off of HWY 50. My electric "tent" campsite was set at the top of the hill and backed by trees, a good location. The bathroom and showers were clean and had hot water. One con was the Wi-Fi, which had a weak signal such that I could not use it from my campsite. Instead, I took my laptop to the common "pavillon" to do my work.

Its loud duexto highway. Tent sites are poor, not really a leveled gravel pad. Showerhouse old but clean.

Great friendly staff. I love the size of our site for the night. Not crammed in like a lot of them now days. Wish the store was open a little earlier in the morning

Great hosts, really good location, excellent view of the night sky with very little light pollution for star gazers. The guest house has an entertainment room, wifi, laundry and shower. However, the quest hose is located at the front of the camp grounds which make for a long walk if you need to make a pit stop. Otherwise, a great place to bivouac while one explores the area.

Tent site J7 has no shade at all. The cost was higher than other KOA's and no pool. I needed to leave a day early but no staff after 4pm and still no staff at 7am. Probably no chance of getting a refund now.

First, when you check in, make sure you are given the code ti unlock the bathrooms/showers. They were unlocked in the evening, but was surprised in the morning! Thankful to a fellow camper who had the code. Also, check out the nonelectric sites are nicer, if you can do without power.

This is a nice KOA to stay at, the bathrooms are always as clean as they can be for a public restroom. I stay here every year when I have an art festival in Salida and I will continue to stay here.

Someone at the camp took all our cookware from my campsite while we were out for the day. When I knocked on the camp host's door to get their assistance they would not answer. We had to drive into Salida to buy new cookware, cost almost $70. With many cheaper, better options, we will not stay here again.

It was a beautiful site. My only issue was having kids run through our camp site. That’s on the parents not the KOA though.

I have stayed at this KOA twice now. I absolutely love the location of this campground. It is perfect for all the places I love to go. The campground itself is absolutely beautiful and has such a calming presence. I can't wait to come back!

We had a great tent spot along the creek with lots of shade. Campsite restrooms and showers were cleaned daily. Great little spot not far from Salida as well as other great hiking spots.

Amazing stay. We had a campsite with a stream, kids loved it. Very quiet and will be back. Some really nice hikes close by

Second time here this summer and this time to escape the loud fireworks. You guys didn't disappoint. So nice and peaceful and beautiful mountains all around each side to stare at.

Beautiful large creek tent site! Nice store; clean bathrooms; nice family hang-out area. 8 a.m. store opening would be ideal, ALL else was wonderful, including staff.

Bev, in the office, was WONDERFUL & accommodating! Our initial tent site was WAY too small, for both our tent & truck. Fortunately, Bev got us into another one. It was a beautiful spot, & there was no level area for our tent... making for a poor night's sleep. I might suggest an "outhouse" of sorts, as the tent sites up high are WAY too far from the restroom, especially in the night.

Tent sites were very uneven and it was impossible to find a flat spot on them. Lots of rocks. Billing was messed up but staff were trying thier best with the system. Bathrooms were horribly far away from the tent sites (the people who actually use them).

Absolutely beautiful! The campsite was exceptionally clean and the creek was very nice to camp by. The staff (Jennifer) that I met was kind, generous, and informative. Amenities like the community restrooms and showers were clean and excellent for the stay. I have no complaints and I would say, in fact, that the site was far better than what I was expecting for the price point.

Last minute camping trip with our 5 year old grandson turned out to be the greatest fun he's had. We stayed in a tent site on the little creek and had plenty of space. Bathrooms and showers were very well kept and the campgrounds were pretty quiet. We especially loved dodging all the hummingbirds buzzing by! Great place for families, etc. We will definitely return.

Beautiful location & great team running this newer KOA! So kind and helpful! Greeted with a smile and "Good Morning!" no matter who you encountered! Peaceful setting with an excellent dog park area as well!! We will be back! Thank you!!

This was up at the Mt not far from the KOA. The KOA had great sites for RV and tent. The staff was very kind.
