Horrible. Paid for 4 nights, over the phone, only stayed for 1. Need I say more?

I'm sorry you were unhappy with your stay with us. When a reservation is made, only a deposit for the first night is required to hold the site.

The water was off on Friday for a quick repair they said that took two hours. Then Friday evening it was off again without notification. I called the desk and overheard the lady talking to someone and he stated, yes it is off again, I am trying to get it fixed. Very unprofessional! Other than that it is a decent campground.

We are so sorry you experienced water interruptions during your stay with us. Occasionally during a season water spigots break down in the ground and it takes time to ensure they are fixed and the repair holds.

We stayed over a long weekend for boating on Lake Cumberland.

Nice clean campground. Very nice people running campground. Campsites need to be further apart than where we were. We felt like we were sitting on each other

Very clean. Wifi needs improvement in the lower lot. Would like to see less permanent campers allowing for more available sites to weekend campers.

Owners very nice. They checked with us daily to see if we needed anything. Sites were nice and clean. Will stay again.

We had a wonderful time at the campground. Owners and staff were amazing and extremely helpful. It would have been even better if COVID-19 hadn’t forced a shut down of all the amenities. Still a great time and very relaxing.

Fire pits are way to close to camper spots on sites, booked and was told we have a premiere spot and received a basic gravel spot with a unuseable fire pit.

The lady that answered the phone was super nice. Very friendly staff and observed the social distancing rules. They brought us ice from the store to our camp site. When we arrived they had paperwork ready and handed to us through our window and showed us to our campsite. We liked section A.

The owner was helpful in providing a portable fire ring so that we could put it in a more convenient spot for our site location and it was quiet, not on HWY. On the negative it appeared as if 80% of the campground was either permanent/seasonal so the campsites were not very attractive; big storage bins and other clutter surrounding the RV/travel trailers. Very little live "green" space per site.

Very friendly owners. Only reason that this isn’t a 5 is because we couldn’t judge the showers or restrooms which were closed due to Covid 19 protocols mandated by the state. We are staying here again next week!

Very nice sites. Owners did the best they could considering the restrictions placed on them during Covid-19. We were happy to have a place to camp. We already have reservations for June. That will make our 4th time staying there.

Accommodations OK. Owners are good people. Campground is more of a lake oriented resort. Nowhere near "easy on easy off". Miles of curvy rural roads to Interstate. Not recommended for big rigs.

Upgraded us to a prime spot... had a nice concert pad, a grill two chairs and a fire pit ! I would pay the extra for a prime spot next time .

John and his team are great! We were a first time seasonal renter this year and we can't wait for next season to start. The team at the Russell Springs KOA keep the grounds well maintained and free of trash and debris. Even thought the bath houses could use an update, they are always spotless! we really enjoyed the Bluegrass Festival but we wish that the campground had a big Halloween celebration

Since it was late in the season the area where our campsite was had only 2 campers. Us and another couple who had 2 large dogs. They kept the dogs tethered out side and every time we came outside they barked like crazy! Sucked most of the fun out of our stay. We are always reluctant to report this type of activity thinking management would see and act. Maybe next time.

The campground was clean. We had a friendly greeting when we arrived and the checkin process was easy, followed by a guide to our camp site. We were in some pull thru sites that were quiet, and somewhat secluded. Everything worked as its supposed to. The only negative is the campground has a very worn, outdated appearance to it.

This campground is a great place to stay. It's super close to two boat ramps. Only a short hour drive to Cumberland Falls Park. But what really makes this place great are the people who run it. The owner personally stopped by our campsite and went over the map of the area. Showed us the best places to visit, the best restaurants, and more. He must have spent 20 minutes at the picnic table with us. Super friendly staff!

We love the location and the campground, love that it's family owned. But possibly they could use some of the earnings to slide a bit of comfort in!! If you have a disability or “bad back”, fair warning you'll need to take something to sit on even in the “delux” cabins. The front cabin has a loveseat that pulls out. Not sure of the comfort when it was pulled out but to sit on it was horrid. Cushions ripped and taped are a bit ridiculous since it costs so much more to stay there. I fear my dear friend from out of town will not be back because there was just no way to really find even a few minutes of comfort with only 3 of us there. The shower ran out of hot water before I could even wash. Again we love the place, but some comfort is a necessity when doing that type of traveling and only so many people can squeeze in one bed. So maybe decent furniture, maybe spring for a recliner. We will hopefully be back. But matching comfort with price would be great. I recommended the place and now I feel bad because it was 2 full days and nights formal her with no way to really sit and relax, only sit. I'm always uncomfortable so until I seen someone else so uncomfortable from my recommendation did I realize. Diana, if you read this I'm sorry! I did not know what that particular cabin was like…now I know. I'll be back, but lol not for comfort.
