The location and access to the lake Cumberland marina is wonderful. Bathhouse was clean but really needs A/C considering the heat and humidity when others are showering it was hard to breathe for my mother who has asthma. Nothing in the recreation room worked and needs updated badly. Our cabin also had a very dirty filter on A/C uni, we cleaned it ourselves. Also needs an updated playground.

It was a rough time for me after losing both my dear companions. But they did everything they could to accommodate, especially with the surprise extreme rain that popped up and hung out all night! Definitely will be going back ASAP! Thanks a bunch!

The cabin was very nice. It was clean and well maintained. It wasn’t great being located on the main road with no shade available. Campground itself seemed unkept.

Good, Quiet. Very cooperative staff. Cabin was clean. Staff provided a heater for the cold snap.

The cabin didn't have wifi as in the description, the floor has a raised 3 inch strip of wood that im assuming hides a seam but is a massive trip hazard, It's brown on brown so hard to see. And the arcade had half of the machines not working and all multi-player machines where broke. For this trip the wifi and arcade where what made me select here, so very disappointing.

We have a nice stay. The cabin was beautiful and new. The staff very nice. This KOA is more remote than we expected but great for relaxing time.

We stayed in a couple of the cabins at this KOA for three nights. Staff was very friendly and even opened up the pool an hour early. Grounds are super quiet and peaceful. Going back in September to tent camp

Atmosphere is great! People are friendly always clean bathrooms and pool. Too bad they were weed eating and cutting grass during our stay . Otherwise really good time.

I checked in and paid my due balance of $254, received my keys, and then get a phone call 10 minutes later while I’m in my cabin asking if they can run my card for an additional $43. I said no and walked up to the camp store. They told me my koa rewards have expired and that’s why they need to charge me more. I pulled up my reservation showing the amount I owe. It was a nightmare

Your reservation was made Dec 2024 and the estimate for your stay was given based on having a valid card upon arrival. However the card expired April 2025. We offered to renew your card, which was declined. As a good will gesture, we extended the 10% even though the card was expired by 3 months.

The staff was friendly and the cabin was cozy and clean. However, the cabin was out in the direct sun with no type of shade relief from the heat of day. We asked to move to the other cabin for shade and were told it wasn’t available. Yet, for our entire visit the other cabin had no guests in it. No reliable WiFi or cell service made our entire stay quite aggravating.

Loved the stay at Russell Springs KOA!! Rented the cabin and was able to enjoy Lake Cumberland and the pool as well as spending time with family that keeps their camper at the KOA.

My request for accessibility was honored & staff accommodated to my need. When storms blew Susan came to alert me re watch/warning, presence of shelters, & local radio station. The location is charming, shady & peaceful. Except for cicadas (!�) & spotty Wi-Fi (nature - not human- related) my stay was lovely. Check in/out was a breeze & all staff were friendly & helpful.

Have stayed there many times. Has never been a disappointment. Staff is extremely friendly. Bath rooms are kept clean as well as the surrounding area even when they that a big event going on. (Lake Cumberland Bluegrass festival) Very organized. Planning on attending again next year.

Tonya ware is great at reserving the cabin for us close to the stage for the bluegrass festival. She’s always helpful with getting it reserved each year. We thoroughly enjoy our stay the last 3 years for bluegrass festival .

Everything was great. However it stated there was a stove top and there was not. The dusk to dawn light is right outside of cabin so the light shines through blinds which is not idea but understand you need them thru park for safery. Staff was fabulous, kind and helpful.

We loved our stay, The cabin we stayed in was slightly small for a family of 4 as it is only one room but the amenities made up for it!! We all loved the pool and game room, Their is alot to do there tennis & basketball courts to mini golf & game room with pool tables and air hockey the kids were never bored I just wish the cabin had running water & bathrooms and they need to update their beds

We had a great time at Russell springs KOA. We arrived after the office closed and they called us with directions and to ensure we didn’t have any questions. The cabin we stayed in was exactly as pictured and we were very comfortable . We would def come back!

Had a wonderful time. Of course it was a little different b/c I had to stay in a cabin this time. Its like coming and staying with family. My first time coming down without my Husband who passed this past year. Great music and time.
