My request for accessibility was honored & staff accommodated to my need. When storms blew Susan came to alert me re watch/warning, presence of shelters, & local radio station. The location is charming, shady & peaceful. Except for cicadas (!�) & spotty Wi-Fi (nature - not human- related) my stay was lovely. Check in/out was a breeze & all staff were friendly & helpful.

Facilities were all clean and well kept. Employees and owner were polite and helpful with questions I had about things to do in surrounding area.

Staff was great. Facilities were very clean. Only shortcoming was the WiFi. Could not stay during the week in the future due to zero cell service and very weak WiFi.

Have stayed there many times. Has never been a disappointment. Staff is extremely friendly. Bath rooms are kept clean as well as the surrounding area even when they that a big event going on. (Lake Cumberland Bluegrass festival) Very organized. Planning on attending again next year.

Tonya ware is great at reserving the cabin for us close to the stage for the bluegrass festival. She’s always helpful with getting it reserved each year. We thoroughly enjoy our stay the last 3 years for bluegrass festival .

This was our first time camping here. Everything was clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The pool was nice. We enjoyed our stay.

Everything was great. However it stated there was a stove top and there was not. The dusk to dawn light is right outside of cabin so the light shines through blinds which is not idea but understand you need them thru park for safery. Staff was fabulous, kind and helpful.

We loved our stay, The cabin we stayed in was slightly small for a family of 4 as it is only one room but the amenities made up for it!! We all loved the pool and game room, Their is alot to do there tennis & basketball courts to mini golf & game room with pool tables and air hockey the kids were never bored I just wish the cabin had running water & bathrooms and they need to update their beds

We had a great time at Russell springs KOA. We arrived after the office closed and they called us with directions and to ensure we didn’t have any questions. The cabin we stayed in was exactly as pictured and we were very comfortable . We would def come back!

Had a wonderful time. Of course it was a little different b/c I had to stay in a cabin this time. Its like coming and staying with family. My first time coming down without my Husband who passed this past year. Great music and time.

We have been coming down from Canada for the past 5 years. We are always pleased with our stay. Cabins are spotless and the staff is very friendly and welcoming! We love it here!

I would recommend this place to everyone I know and have! It is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed at. Clean, quiet, lots to do, and everyone I dealt with were very very nice! This place even made my doggie comfy! I will be back next year for sure!

Our family had a great weekend at one of the cabins at the Russell Springs Journey KOA. The pool, the relative closeness to the lake and its other amenities made for a great weekend. We will be back soon.

I have been staying at Indian Hills since the 1980s. My children learned about camping and learned to swim there. We have spent many wonderful nights here and will continue to do so. I would recommend this campground, and have to anyone. The owners and workers work to see that you have a relaxing vacation or whatever occasion brings you there. They have over the years had special events. ♥

Campsite for non-residential customers were muddy, roads are in horrible shape, not enough gravel and there were big gullies you had to drive through and very narrow. We felt cramped into a small spot. Cabin was clean, showers were clean but outdated.

The air conditioner worked but made a TERRIBLY loud noise to the point that we could not run it. We ran it while we were gone and had to turn it off when we returned. The couch bed was uncomfortable and you could feel the springs. I witnessed the staff being extremely rude to a group of children trying to buy ice cream. The camp was a bit run down. However, I did feel it to be a safe environment.

The air condition had a pieces of paper removed from it and was a quick fix. When maintenance issue are known they are addressed. We take great pride in being friendly to our customers of all ages.

Had a good stay. Cabin was very clean but not what I expected. I’m not sure if I was mislead or if I misread the information. We were a family of 5 and booked the deluxe cabin. I believed it had a pull out sofa bed and oven but our cabin didn’t have any of these. We had a queen bed and set of bunk beds for 5 people. We made it work but the extra bed we expected would have been nice.

Always love staying at this KOA! The staff treats you like family, and the campground has a vintage but well-maintained vibe. Our site had full hookups, a picnic table on a concrete pad which was great when it rained, and a nice metal fire ring. The kids loved the playground and pool, and the dog park a nice addition. Highly recommend.
