Have stayed there many times. Has never been a disappointment. Staff is extremely friendly. Bath rooms are kept clean as well as the surrounding area even when they that a big event going on. (Lake Cumberland Bluegrass festival) Very organized. Planning on attending again next year.

Tonya ware is great at reserving the cabin for us close to the stage for the bluegrass festival. She’s always helpful with getting it reserved each year. We thoroughly enjoy our stay the last 3 years for bluegrass festival .

We have been attending the Bluegrass Festival in August for several years, before we bought a camper. We've had a camper since 2020 and thoroughly enjoy this KOA campground. It's very well kept, the staff is very courteous and helpful. Each year we look forward to our stay at Russell Springs KOA.

Staff was very accommodating. Quite a hike on a gravely slippery hill to get to the one and only bathroom. Campsite was clean and grassy and nice. We were tent camping.

This was our first time camping here. Everything was clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The pool was nice. We enjoyed our stay.

Only stayed overnight in a rain storm. Neighbor dog got loose and attacked my 2 dogs. Not happy at all.

Tried to cancel within the 48 hr mark and the phone number had “busy” signal every time I called. So I was charged for my stay that I wasn’t able to do because of your phone issue.

I am sorry you were unable to cancel during the required time frame. We have had no issues with our phone line that we are aware of and we also have an email that campers use for communication with us. In addition we tried to contact you on the day of your expected arrival but received no answer.

John the owner was fantastic! The pool was a perfect temp everything was wonderful after a 7 day trek down the east coast staying at several other KOAs along the way, Russell Springs was a beautiful ending to our trip. My kids loved it here and we absolutely will be making a return trip in the years to come!

Everything was great. However it stated there was a stove top and there was not. The dusk to dawn light is right outside of cabin so the light shines through blinds which is not idea but understand you need them thru park for safery. Staff was fabulous, kind and helpful.

My reservation didn’t give me a site number. I tried to email twice with NO response. Once we drove 2 1/2 hours to be told how lucky we were a site opened up! What I paid for this spot months ago. We did take our 12 foot pop up onto the spot. Spots are on top of each other. You have NO privacy. Other than this the park was clean and ran by kind folks

Our site had wash out and took 3 blocks to begin to level. Lots of people living there full time. Not kept up. The hostess was lovely though and thr guy who guided us to our campsite.

We loved our stay, The cabin we stayed in was slightly small for a family of 4 as it is only one room but the amenities made up for it!! We all loved the pool and game room, Their is alot to do there tennis & basketball courts to mini golf & game room with pool tables and air hockey the kids were never bored I just wish the cabin had running water & bathrooms and they need to update their beds

We had a great time at Russell springs KOA. We arrived after the office closed and they called us with directions and to ensure we didn’t have any questions. The cabin we stayed in was exactly as pictured and we were very comfortable . We would def come back!

Nice quiet place, clean, people working there were friendly and helpful.A little drive from anything, wifi was weak to non available. cable worked well.

We are 7 miles from the Cumberland Parkway on beautiful Lake Cumberland. We are in a heavily forested, hilly terrain which does impact the WiFi service at some site in the park.

Staff are great, offered assistance as needed, stayed late for my daughter, who had rented a cabin, as she was delayed in her ability to get to the park on time. I am very thankful for the support of this facility to my family, we have a family reunion of sorts around Father's day each year.

Site to close, the sewer hook-up from adjacent site was 4’ from our door Neighbor smoking could smell, if that tells you hhos close the sites are A4

We requested a shady spot and was pleasantly surprised how shady it was. Our only issue were our next door cabin neighbors smoked and vaped incessantly and it carried right to our front door. Not the campgrounds fault…just unpleasant for us. Access to the lake was outstanding

Thanks for your input. We have great cable service at each full hookup site with a 100+ channels. We have excellent cell service provided by several national carriers with a cell tower less than a mile from our facility. Unfortunately AT&T doesn't utilize this tower.

Great little place tucked away in Lake Cumberland. Really enjoyed the arcade, but wished that half the games weren’t broken. Concrete picnic area was very nice but the actual RV site was very unlevel side to side. The pool is great. They had redone it since last time we’ve been there.

This campground needs renovated, and the regular pull thru sites need to have more room between sites. WiFi is poor. The premium pull through sites are nice.

Wonderful experience! The staff were all very personable and friendly. They catered to any needs we may have! The signal and WiFi were very strong! Definitely will be back!!! The highlight was seeing all the deer coming out. They were not too scared to be around humans!!

This campground is a great place to stay. It's super close to two boat ramps. Only a short hour drive to Cumberland Falls Park. But what really makes this place great are the people who run it. The owner personally stopped by our campsite and went over the map of the area. Showed us the best places to visit, the best restaurants, and more. He must have spent 20 minutes at the picnic table with us. Super friendly staff!

We love the location and the campground, love that it's family owned. But possibly they could use some of the earnings to slide a bit of comfort in!! If you have a disability or “bad back”, fair warning you'll need to take something to sit on even in the “delux” cabins. The front cabin has a loveseat that pulls out. Not sure of the comfort when it was pulled out but to sit on it was horrid. Cushions ripped and taped are a bit ridiculous since it costs so much more to stay there. I fear my dear friend from out of town will not be back because there was just no way to really find even a few minutes of comfort with only 3 of us there. The shower ran out of hot water before I could even wash. Again we love the place, but some comfort is a necessity when doing that type of traveling and only so many people can squeeze in one bed. So maybe decent furniture, maybe spring for a recliner. We will hopefully be back. But matching comfort with price would be great. I recommended the place and now I feel bad because it was 2 full days and nights formal her with no way to really sit and relax, only sit. I'm always uncomfortable so until I seen someone else so uncomfortable from my recommendation did I realize. Diana, if you read this I'm sorry! I did not know what that particular cabin was like…now I know. I'll be back, but lol not for comfort.
