We have a nice stay. The cabin was beautiful and new. The staff very nice. This KOA is more remote than we expected but great for relaxing time.

We always camp in August for the Lake Cumberland Bluegrass Festival. The campground is always clean and neat, staff is always friendly and courteous.

Came to attend the bluegrass festival which was awesome. Swam in the pool three days in a row. Our site was clean and secluded. Will do it again next year

It was a nice park, however when we went to the ( general store) to purchase hot dog and hamburger buns. We got them back to camper and relized rhat they were moldie. They did refund money. Also they should have opened the pool earlier. With heat advisors.

We are so sorry about the buns. While the buns were still in date, heat/humidity in transport obviously was a problem. We hope you give us another chance to show that we are a great KOA campground.

We stayed in a couple of the cabins at this KOA for three nights. Staff was very friendly and even opened up the pool an hour early. Grounds are super quiet and peaceful. Going back in September to tent camp

The staff was great and very helpful. The perimeter road could use some grading in places to level it out, and lots of fresh gravel are needed on it. Additionally, some of the lower tree branches need trimming along the road. Thank you. John Olsen

The only spot for our camper (30ft) not giant… was down I a valley so far from everything which really sucked with little kids. Not accommodations were made to resolve this, it was a sorry about your luck have a great weekend and that didn’t feel good. Too many seasonal campers here. Pool was great and park was clean but the spots sucked.

We are sorry you were unhappy with your site. That section of sites is the highest demand. Unfortunately, all patio site were rented for that weekend therefore there were no other open patio sites. We do have sites across from the pool that are very popular.

Atmosphere is great! People are friendly always clean bathrooms and pool. Too bad they were weed eating and cutting grass during our stay . Otherwise really good time.

I was given a great tent location to stay with extra room for me and my dog but the site hadn't been swept or the glass table cleaned in forever. The bathroom was old and I felt not on par of the other KOAs I've stayed in, especially since Lake Cumberland is a popular destination. Perhaps they cater more to RVs, not tents or vans so not many people use the facilities.

Great Folks-Nice park-did have a broken water main our last day which left us without water but they were on it and fixing it as we departed

Nice staff, good lot near the pool but not much shade. Tennis courts, playground and put-put golf in need of repair / updates, but pool in nice condition and clean. Very clean throughout the campground and quiet! However, seems like most of the campground belongs to seasonal guest. But this is to be expected near Cumberland Lake.

I checked in and paid my due balance of $254, received my keys, and then get a phone call 10 minutes later while I’m in my cabin asking if they can run my card for an additional $43. I said no and walked up to the camp store. They told me my koa rewards have expired and that’s why they need to charge me more. I pulled up my reservation showing the amount I owe. It was a nightmare

Your reservation was made Dec 2024 and the estimate for your stay was given based on having a valid card upon arrival. However the card expired April 2025. We offered to renew your card, which was declined. As a good will gesture, we extended the 10% even though the card was expired by 3 months.

It was a wonderful week.The only thing you need is a 30amp breaker instead of a 20amp breaker flipped all the time.

Check in was simple and the office staff were pleasant; they even led me to my site with a golf cart and offered to help placing the camper. When we asked if they had firewood, they actually delivered it to our campsite. Restrooms were very clean, the grounds were nice, and the pool was in great shape. Definitely recommend this place.

The campground and facilities were very nice. Would not recommend staying in a tent though, it was very hot. The residential and permanent residents do not seem to have a nighttime noise ordinance.

We were experiencing an unusual June heat wave. As an alternative we do have Kamping Kabins which are like hard shell tents with bed sand AC. We do our best to enforce KOA's 10pm quiet time.

The staff was friendly and the cabin was cozy and clean. However, the cabin was out in the direct sun with no type of shade relief from the heat of day. We asked to move to the other cabin for shade and were told it wasn’t available. Yet, for our entire visit the other cabin had no guests in it. No reliable WiFi or cell service made our entire stay quite aggravating.

Loved our stay! The owners were so incredibly kind and helpful. They know the area well and provided several recommendations. Our site was perfection! Location, layout, everything! We would definitely stay there again and recommend.

This campground is a great place to stay. It's super close to two boat ramps. Only a short hour drive to Cumberland Falls Park. But what really makes this place great are the people who run it. The owner personally stopped by our campsite and went over the map of the area. Showed us the best places to visit, the best restaurants, and more. He must have spent 20 minutes at the picnic table with us. Super friendly staff!

We love the location and the campground, love that it's family owned. But possibly they could use some of the earnings to slide a bit of comfort in!! If you have a disability or “bad back”, fair warning you'll need to take something to sit on even in the “delux” cabins. The front cabin has a loveseat that pulls out. Not sure of the comfort when it was pulled out but to sit on it was horrid. Cushions ripped and taped are a bit ridiculous since it costs so much more to stay there. I fear my dear friend from out of town will not be back because there was just no way to really find even a few minutes of comfort with only 3 of us there. The shower ran out of hot water before I could even wash. Again we love the place, but some comfort is a necessity when doing that type of traveling and only so many people can squeeze in one bed. So maybe decent furniture, maybe spring for a recliner. We will hopefully be back. But matching comfort with price would be great. I recommended the place and now I feel bad because it was 2 full days and nights formal her with no way to really sit and relax, only sit. I'm always uncomfortable so until I seen someone else so uncomfortable from my recommendation did I realize. Diana, if you read this I'm sorry! I did not know what that particular cabin was like…now I know. I'll be back, but lol not for comfort.
