I really wish they would update the AC in the small cabins. They're very loud and struggle to make cool air even when it was in the 60's at night.

The sunsets, as advertised, were beautiful. Pool opened! Requested fire wood at site upon arrival and it was there. Very friendly, kind staff.

Had to call and change dates due to scheduling issues, very easy and was able to change. Kids were not able to use the pool. Site was cleaned and ready for us when we arrived. Nice/quiet tent camping spot.

Very nice and well taken care of. We had a large site with a beautiful view of the sunsets. We enjoyed it very much.

Loved it!! Everyone was very friendly, especially Jack the owner. I stayed in a cabin that was very clean and cozy. I plan on going back again. Beautiful scenery around the area.

Primary and bathroom were very nice and clean. However couch bed and bunk beds were not clean. There was dog hair and popcorn left in both. Kitchenette was well maintained and useful.

We arrived a little late due to an accident on the hiway so the office was already closed, but our check in package was available at the door. Directions were easy and the site was nice. We rented a premium site with fire pit and furniture. There was a large cement pad easy in and easy out. The part has Many amenities but we were only there for a night so we didn’t use them. nice campground

3 night stay in cabin. Had a wonderful relaxing weekend. Store could be better stocked, but it is the off season. Definitely would stay again.

I rented the deluxe cabin using the app. Arrived at the main office after hours, but my paperwork and directions to the cabin were waiting for me. The cabin was perfect for my and a friend as we were traveling through on a motorcycle trip. We were able to cook a good meal in the kitchen and then get a good night's sleep. The cabin was neat and clean. Thank you.

Very accommodating to our camping club. The owner and his staff were very friendly and welcomed us. The park is clean and has very clean restrooms and rec room. This park is nice for families.

We stayed at KOA in Rusk, Texas and it is always so enjoyable. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Breakfast is always so good there. Always a pleasure to stay there.

We stayed one night on the way to NW AR. The cabin w/bathroom and kitchenette allowed us to make dinner before we went to bed and breakfast before we left in the morning. That saved us a lot of time. The cabin was clean, warm, and comfortable with enough room for us and our dogs. The only negatives were that the bed was hard and the outlet on the porch was broken and unusable. We'll stay again!

We stayed in the cabin we stayed in before because we like the “lay out”. The cabin are always extremely clean which is another reason we like them. My only wish is I wish there would be “perhaps” two bottles of water. Tap water is “ok” but that is just a wish. GREAT place to stay and love that they honor my husband as a veteran.

No longer have cable TV. One of the primary reasons I choose a campgrouund. I have been a loyal member of KOA for years but this will be my last trip staying at a KOA.

Took my son and his buddy for his 16th birthday, everyone had a great time! Boys stayed in the tipi which was a cool experience and still very comfortable even in the cold weather, and our cabin was excellent. The surrounding area also offered for a lot of exploring, will definitely be back!

Always make Rusk KOA our first stop on a camping trip from our home in Austin or last stop on our way home -- whether traveling with our trailer or staying in the cabins. Nice, well maintained facilities and nice layout. Also try to catch the Saturday morning breakfast -- a very nice plus.

The folks that manage and run the rusk KOA, were very helpful and friendly. We met with our kids and grandkids while we were there. We really enjoyed the stay.

We had the best time with our children and grandchildren over the long weekend, our 3 yo grandson loves the park and grounds to run and play, my 8 and 10 yo grandsons loved the huge pool and riding their bikes. This is a beautiful shady park with the nicest people, the grounds and facilities are impeccably maintained, they really cater to families and children. The park is small and very safe.

It's a nice campground overall. We went to take the old train from Rusk to Palistine. We purchased the tickets in advance, thinking this what was happening. The campground said they have a shuttle to the train Station, $20 for a family (we had daughter and a grandson with us) they charged us $30, what's up with that? Then theft train went to a Wynedale, TX. Turned the engine around and took us back to Rusk! Quite disappointing to say the least. Not KOA fault! But think twice about the train! Overall stay was nice and quiet, very friendly staff
