Everyone at Rusk Holiday KOA looks forward to the fall and Halloween each year, thanks to events such as Scare on the Square here in Rusk. The temperature finally starts to drop in Texas at this time of the year, making it much easier to get out and about and explore the local area. Scare on the Square

The annual Scare on the Square event is back on October 28th, 2022! This Halloween event is fun for all of the family and really helps to unite the local community. There’s no better time to head out and enjoy trick-or-treating around Rusk and the surrounding area. The local businesses here gather in the square to pass candies out to all of the dressed-up kids throughout the evening. The fun begins at 4:30 pm this evening and carries on until all of the candy has been given out. 


As well as the trick-or-treating this event is so well known for, you’ll also want to check out the Haunted Law Office. It’s another fun addition to the evening’s festivities and one that adults and kids alike will enjoy. Everyone in the family can enjoy getting dressed up and taking fun family photos in the local area to create memories that you’ll look back on for years to come.
