Things we loved were the low price, huge lots, friendly staff, super clean and well laid out. All utilities worked well, pool was nice, and laundry worked very well. Things that could improve are trees or fences to break the wind, more amenities for things to do, better free wifi, we had a plague of ants that got into our rv. I was bit after stepping onto what I guess was a fire ant hill.

The park is a great place to stay, and the staff is amazing. This comment is for the corporate side. Bring back the free plaid koozies. Was a little disheartened that they were not available. It was a running joke for me with the staff, I stopped in every morning to ask if them came in.

Very nice and clean campground. Nice clubhouse and restrooms are kept clean. Laundry facilities are nice but machines say $2.25 but some quarters do not register when you put them in, so it ends up costing $3.00 per washer and dryer. Have plenty of quarters on hand.

Wonderfull place to stay. Very clean and big spots. Laundry rooms were super clean with newer wash and dryers. Staff were awesome!!! Loved our 3 month stay.

The front office people are amazing and all the activities they set for the guest. Amazing host!! But the ground crews are rude and disrespectful. I asked twice for the grounds guy with the leaf blower, not to blow grass and dust into my RV. Ignore me and did it again two days later after cleaning. Said something again but got mad a drove off in golf cart. Not sure i would recommend.

Beautiful setup. 2 lakes to fish from. 1 is salt that crabs are available & another lake of fresh water to catch & release. Facilities are very clean, staff very helpful & facilities abundant. The facility does lack shade trees.

Find it very annoying that my kids 12 and 10 cant be outside with out an adult being outside with them Im not talking about at the pool , just outside in general Im sorry other peoples kids have had issues but you should never punish everybody else for another Families issues… pretty sad..

No trees no shade guest services police called the front office when our dog was on a secure lease all morning the minute I stepped in to use the restroom to report our dog was unattended maybe instead of being so quick to blow the whistle you check the situation a little better

Everything was awesome But I do have to complain about the restroom and the shower. The restroom in the club house is always clean but the light go off to fast . It trun off 3 time on me in my 4 day stay. The shower always have standing water on the floor. Everytime I went to use it. . Please leave a mop in thier .

It's a really nice campground. The swimming area and club room were nice. The location was nice and the staff were nice. The only negative was there's not enough bathroom facilities for the size of the campground. Unfortunately, there was more than one occasion that the mens toilets were blocked in the morning leaving all the men to find an alternative. If there were more toilets this would issue.

It was very short we came late but very easy to get our registration and camp site being g close to the bathrooms was great and it is very well lighted and we liked the table and the glided swing provided at our campsite very relaxing

It was a great stay the staff were supper friendly and accommodating. The park is very open and everybody respects the posted speed limit signs it’s a great place to let the kids out on bicycles and scooters and just be kids.

Layout is good with large sites with concrete pads & room between sites. Very well- maintained park. Lake with beautiful sunsets. Two swimming pools.

Resort is clean and well kept. Our rating is affected by the wind. trees in other parks in the area certainly made a difference and would be a nice addition.

Very clean, easy access to town. Pull through spaces are nice and level. Not every site has a picnic table ( narrow spacing) only issue.

We stayed 2 months and really found it hard to leave. The staff was all very friendly and the ground were kept well too. We plan on coming back next January.

Very nice, clean campground. Location is nice and quiet. The only negative is that it is a few miles out of town, not a big deal if you have a vehicle (other than your RV) Our only complaint was the lack of flexibility in changing dates. We paid for 7 days and wanted to leave a day early. KOA would not refund, even with 6 days notice. Campers need flexibility based on weather, travel time etc.

We enjoyed Rockport KOA and like the Port Lavaca Koa a little more since they have more scheduled activities for kids\teenagers (painting a picture frame, drawing class, face painting, magnet painting, movie nights with popcorn, smores nights in the clubhouse and free prize bingo. On Halloween they have a costume contest etc. etc. Pool bathroom floors at RP. slippery need dehumidifier installed.

Very clean, open and easy to get in and out! Professional and friendly staff! Would definitely like the gate to work just to feel protected at night time! Other than that, I definitely will book another stay!

I highly recommend you change the bathroom cleaning schedule. We get out of our camper and go over to the bathroom at 8:00, and it is getting cleaned. They do a great job cleaning. Just need to change the time.

Very nicely maintained resort. Every employee we interacted with, we're professional and kind. We enjoyed the 2 pools everyday and went for long walks. I went kayak fishing 3 times. We had one small issue and the manager responded immediately and proffeionally and resolved the issue to our satisfaction. We will come back.

This was our first time staying at Rockport and the KOA. We had a wonderful time there, Marie and Mel made us feel like family. The Easter Brunch, the sliders, breakfast and all the wonderful crafts. Marie and Mel quickly became our friends and family. We hope to be back next year to enjoy the same warm welcome we received.
